Bastrop Texas Dentist Chad Byler, DDS was raised in La Grange surrounded by his family and friends. In practice since 2001, Dr. Byler moved his dental practice to Bastrop, TX in 2005 because the citys welcoming community filled with friendly people simply make it feel like a second home.
With a passion and dedication to providing superior dental care for his family, friends, and neighbors in Central Texas, he takes pride in establishing long-term, productive relationships with every patient he sees.
Theres only one thing that Dr. Byler is more committed to than his patients, and that is his loving wife of 15 years who he met, of all places, at a wedding in La Grange. The couple enjoys spending their time together among family and friends including their daughter. The family enjoys spending time with their two dogs Winston, a French Bulldog, and Fergie, a Kelpie and Catahoula mix. Outside of the dentist office, Dr. Byler also enjoys watching sports and grilling it up on his Big Green Egg.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Byler continued on to study for is dentist degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Upon graduation, he remained in school an additional year to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.

I'm not one to normally write reviews because I never knew how much of a difference it would make to people. Today on 7/18/2022 I went in for a deep dental cleaning. I admit I am very terrified of going to the dentist and get very bad anxiety. The staff were excellent on accommodating and helping me through my anxiety. They have gave me options that I didn't know I would have to make my teeth cleaning easier. After a good deep cleaning I feel better about myself and my smile. I definitely would recommend giving them a chance.

Amazing Dentist! He explains everything that he is going to do which leads you to no questions! Very thorough and always striving to give you the most beautiful and Healthy Smile! The degree of material that he uses for the customer is always the best! No doubt, just look at my smile!

Made an appointment, said that they took my insurance, got to the appointment and they don't. Had to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement. Dr. Good but knowledgeable associates are lacking. Won't be back.

My family and I have been a patient here for over 11 years and I can't say enough good things about this dental practice. I have had success with all work done by Dr. Byler, this is the best and most precise dentist I have ever known. His staff is excellent and kind. This guy changed insurance on me before he finished work. I had to get full dentures put in and all I've had for the past year are temporary ones that are awful. I cannot eat and if I do I have to take them out to gum down my food which causes really bad bathroom times.The best part is he charged me out of pocket for my final visit over 2k and all he did was screw in replacement parts for my lower dentures knowing full well that he was changing insurance and would not be finishing the work. I'm going to another dentist now that told me the parts I was charged over 2k for would only have cost 4 hundred dollars. I even looked up the exact one he bought from the exact place he got them,(he had to send the parts for the new dentist). They cost 135.00 each so for 3 hundred dollars in parts he charged over 2k. Avoid this guy like the plague, I would not send my worst enemy to him. He's the worst dentist I've ever had to "help" me he's not only charging people way more than anyone else, he is a liar and knew full well the last visit was only for him to collect more money. Out of pocket 2k....

I have been going to Dr. Chad Byler for over 10 years and he's great! I have had experience with shady dentist in the past and I am so glad that I found Dr. Byler. He doesn't drum up treatments just for the sake of making money. If you don't have any issues, you just go in for your cleanings. I am very happy with his service and his team's service! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr.Byler for a couple of years now and my mom and best friend have been going for much longer. I cant speak enough on how much I enjoy going here. Dr.Byler and his staff are so friendly and I always leave feeling well taken care of. Dr is very conservative and very good at what he does as well as Shayna(hygienist) I highly recommend this office for your dental needs!!

I rec'd the most thorough exam I've ever had from a dentist to get to the root of a toothache. Dr Byler sat & discussed my issues and treatment options. He was unhurried and a great listener. His hygienist gave me a very complete exam and cleaning. I will be going back.
