Dr Abazie, a hospital trained dentist with more than 12 years of experience in Dental Implants. He is a trusted doctor with astonishing professional skills who has been treating patients with dental implants for over a decade. He is a former paramedic with Baylor College of Medicine: Department of occupational medicine and worked in the Houston Metroplex for many years while studying for his undergraduate degree in Biology. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston where he received His Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
He then furthered his education in general practice residency at King Harbor Hospital-UCLA in Los Angeles, California with the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery dealing with medically compromised patients and handling complicated cases in oral Dental Implantology, Oral surgery, periodontal surgery, prosthodontic, endodontic, pediatric, cosmetic dentistry, and geriatric care. He is certied in BLS, ACLS, and enteral conscious sedation.
After receiving his DDS, he graduated from California implant Institute with a specialty in Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Abazie is a master of reconstructive dentistry helping those patients with missing teeth and bone loss to regain condence in themselves by regenerating bone(building bone) through the use of various bone graft materials and membranes and placement of dental implants to replace those missing teeth.

Been here on time for my appointment, for 2 pm and still here. They love to come in a ask are you okay nawwww y'all should've said that this appointment could take soo many hours then ppl can arrange better. It's been 3 hours here and just did a x-ray and CT.

I LOVED MY VISIT TODAY. It has been a total confidence booster, the doctor and their staff really made me feel at home. They made me comfortable and anytime I had discomfort they made sure I was okay. This is my permanent dentist from now on, they are all truly a blessing. So nice, honestly the staff is wonderful and so patient with you. If you're looking for a good dentist come here! The doctor really took his time on my teeth and made sure they were perfect, his amazing wife and staff assisted me in the best way possible in my Cosmetic bonding procedure and it's looks so beautiful and natural!

My son recently had his 4 wisdom teeth pulled at this location. Everyone at this location was so kind throughout the entire process. Our first appointment was very pleasant and welcoming. He also had a good experience during his extraction of 4 teeth. The dentist even reached out the next day to check my son's progress. I would definitely recommend this location. I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness of EVERYONE there, from the front desk, the dental hygienists and the dentist. Great place and staff!!

Amazing experience! Dr. Shafiey is a very caring and knowledgeable Dentist. Very kind and patient. The clinic looks beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Candice is an exceptional hygienist. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a pleasant experience in a dental office.

I am so pleased with my experience at CFDsmile of Desoto. I don't have anyone local to give me a recommendation of a good dental office so I picked this location because of the reviews and location to where I live. I made the right choice. Dr. Shafiey and his team are exceptional. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel at ease. I had the pleasure of having Candace perform my deep cleaning. She was very patient with me and kept checking in which made me feel much better. I appreciated all her knowledge and willingness to also educate me about my teeth/gum care. I'm happy to say I've found a dentist I'll be happy to keep following up with. I have a list of dental needs to address and CFDsmile will be the ones to help me reach my smile goals!

Candice was exceptional. She's probably the best one that I've had since I've been going there. I really was pleased by her skills and how she treated me as a patient. I felt important and valued. I will be moving and relocating over an hour away, but I will continue to support this location, because of their expertise and professionalism .

Great office. They don't treat me how my teeth looks. And my teeth look pretty bad. Everyone always very pleasant to me. Great customer service you feel like you are family.

The staff was so sweet. I hadn't been to a dentist for years and was so nervous and scared. Dr. Abazie and his assistants treated me with respect and made me feel calm and relaxed through out my procedure.thank you for my smile!

If I could find the words to express how disappointed I am with dental work that sits on my counter instead of my mouth, I would be here for a long time. I still have fear of malfunction of the root canals on the other side of my mouth. Not being able to chew or even wear the partial is a big disappointment. Being told that they aren't meant to be comfortable and serve as temporary replacement is not what I want to hear. It is emotionally and mentally draining to think that my hard earned money was wasted on services rendered. I would never want anyone to feel the way I do about my smile now after being a patient here. I have so much dental work to complete, but it won't be here. Sometimes it is better to help the patient instead of the pursuit of financial gain. Everyone isn't in the position to afford implants and that should be respected. Flimsy repairs and unsatisfactory results are not a positive result in such trying times. Driving multiple times to other office in another city during this pandemic was also not well received in my life. I pray that one day I will have the ability to afford the proper replacement of the damage not repaired in my experience with this office. On a positive note there was a very positive and uplifting member of the team named Truddy who took her time and explained things and was just amazing. I also recalled a young man there who was helpful with the last few attempts to make right all the things wrong with my dental work. I neglected my dental health and I refuse to remain in this unhealthy and deplorable state. I will find the help I need, but I'm sorry to say it won't be here.
