Dr. Joseph J. Ceravolo is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in biology. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry and obtained the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984. Following a periodontal surgical residency program at Baylor College of Dentistry, he was awarded a Specialty certificate in Periodontics in 1986. Following completion of his education, he returned to the Palm Beach area and began a private practice limited to periodontics.
Dr. Ceravolos interests involve reconstructive plastic surgery of the gingival tissues, regenerative and augmentation procedures of the bone, soft tissue laser therapy for treating periodontal disease and enhancing the smile, and the placement of dental implants. Dr. Ceravolo has worked closely with some of the areas prominent restorative dentists to cosmetically enhance the gum tissues prior to the placement of new aesthetic restorations. Having an intensive interest in new technologies and procedures, Dr. Ceravolo constantly updates his continuing education both in the fields of periodontics/implantology and aesthetic dentistry. He was recently awarded a Certificate in Advanced Periodontal Aesthetics from the Larry Rosenthal Institute and Aesthetic Advantage Seminars. He is a contributing member of the ADEPT and AAED dental study clubs.

I was referred to Dr. Ceravolo three days ago. Being a new patient I was anxious. The staff was courteous. Dr Ceravolo is very soft spoken. Dr Ceravolo meet with me in a room and explained the procedure to me including a drawing of what he was going to do. I was then placed into another room to do the procedure. He was kind and made sure from the start I would not feel anything at all and I was at ease. Through out the entire time there he was always concerned with how I was doing and so was his assistant. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Did not feel anything from even the first shot.

I was referred to Dr. Ceravolo for a consult. He was condescending. He did not explain anything to me and referred me to a different specialist. The visit was a complete waste of my time and money. The office staff was polite at least.

Dr. Ceravolo and his staff are amazing! Had a procedure completed and every step went with ease. Everyone makes you feel very comfortable, they are all very informative from the front staff, to the assistants and the doctor. All very knowledgeable. If your considering have an implant or any other work done. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO! Best experience! I definitely will be recommending my friends, family and my patients (I'm in the dental field as well. I can really say they are GREAT AT WHAT THEY DO).
