Seaview Dental and Century Dental grew out of a vision shaped by Dr. Alan Cohn and Dr. Ira Port while they were dental students. This vision has expanded to a new practice Seaview Dental Stafford under Dr. Austin Port. These unique dental offices provide general and specialized dentistry to patients at each location with convenient hours. Each doctor takes pride in continuing their education and providing patients with unsurpassed dentistry using state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Port has been practicing periodontics since 1979 and has been placing implants and rebuilding smiles since 1984. Dr. Port has successfully treated thousands of patients and has developed techniques for bone grafting, implants, and tooth splinting, as well as painless injection and sedation procedures to maximize patient comfort during any surgical procedure. He is a former dental consultant to Osteotech and was the first dentist in the U.S. to use Grafton Bone replacement therapy in private practice. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine and Post Doctorate in Periodontics from Rutgers University Medical School (previously UMDNJ). Dr. Port also holds a BS in chemical engineering and BA in business administration from Rutgers University. Dr. Port is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. In addition, Dr. Port is a clinical instructor at Jersey Shore University Medical Centers Dental Clinic.
Dr. Cohn has been practicing general dentistry since 1977, sharing his expertise in cosmetic and denture prosthetics. Dr. Cohn received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers University Medical School (previously UMDNJ) and a BS in biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
For nearly 20 years, Dr. Garland has been utilizing the latest state-of-the-art computer technology (digital imaging and advanced computer graphics), to provide the most effective cosmetic and general dental care to every patient. Dr. Garland received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, and a BS degree in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado. He completed his General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center, where he was also Chief of Residency. Dr. Garland is a member of the Monmouth Ocean Dental Society, NJ Dental Society, American Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics and Academy of General Dentistry, where he was awarded a distinction Fellowship for his excellence in General Dentistry.
Dr. Garland is recognized as an AGD Fellow, a designation requiring rigorous course work and an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams. Only about 4 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows.
Dr Griepenburg brings over 33 years of experience in general, prosthetic and cosmetic dentistry to the practice, and is constantly updating his knowledge with continuing education. He received a BA degree in biology from Rutgers University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry, where he earned a membership to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Honor Dental Society. Before joining the practice, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Administration Hospital.
Dentistry has always been a part of Dr. Oliveiras life. His father and grandfather were both dentists, and together managed the same office in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro from 1932 to 2016. Dr. Oliveira graduated from the dentistry program at the University of Grande Rio in Brazil, during which time he worked in dental clinics, childrens hospitals and orphanages, and shared his knowledge about disease prevention with disadvantaged communities. Dr. Oliveira joined his familys practice full time, following graduation. Since arriving in the United States, Dr. Oliveira worked in an Orthodontics office, then entered the DDS/DMD program at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey International Dental Program, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2012. After completing his General Practice Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Centers Dental Clinic, Dr. Oliveira joined the Seaview Dental team in 2013. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Austin Port, DMD grew up in Ocean County, NJ. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers University Medical School and also holds a BS in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego. He completed his General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Port is well versed in all aspects of general dentistry, having successfully treated thousands of patients. He provides outstanding clinical care with a gentle touch.
Nanci received her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex County College. She joined Century Dental in 2006 and currently practices at the Seaview Dental and Century Dental locations. Nancis thorough dental hygiene cleanings leave patients feeling fabulous.
Kathy received her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex County College. She joined Century Dental in 2004 and has been helping patients maintain their healthy smiles ever since.

Many of my family members go to Century Dental and we are all pleased with the dental work they have done for almost 10 years. I had 2 implants done last year hardly had any pain and I am very pleased with my new look! Everyone in the Jackson office from the front desk, dental assistants, dental hygienists, and Dr. Garland and Dr. Port are always very knowledgeable, efficient and polite. They are accommodating, make you feel very comfortable and welcome!

Dr. Garland and his staff are all amazing. The front desk staff are all friendly and super accommodating to your schedule and needs. His hygienists are all very gentle and personable, Kathy is always so personable! Dr. Garland does amazing work, he is very gentle and always makes sure you are satisfied with his work. I saw the periodontist, Dr. Port. He is friendly and made me feel at ease. His assistant Brenda was also very kind and explained everything to me. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Todd Garling has been regular dentist since we moved down the Jersey shore area, Dr. Garling;s associate is a periodontist who does fantastic work. Well, six years ago, my wife and I moved north 75 miles to be closer to our married children who have given us 9 grandchildren who are the loves of our life and who bring us great joy. However, I still travel to Jackson because Drs Port and Garling are the best. They have taught me valuable information about my dry mouth which can cause cavities and blood pressure meds that block salivary gland production of much needed saliva to keep your mouth most and your teeth and gums in great shape. I was very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of Dr. Garland and his staff. I was pleasantly shocked when he told me that my problem did not need any attention at this time. Far too many dentists are "looking for work" where there is none required.

I had a throbbing toothache. Century gave me a quick appointment, worked on the problem, wrote me prescriptions and called them into the drugstore for me. Everyone works so hard to take care of me. Dr. garland and staff should be commended!
