I prefer this dental office so much I make trips from San Diego to receive this level of service and comfort. In addition to Dr Smallwood the staff is always super positive and can make a not so pleasant life necessity as enjoyable as possible. They will even take pause to listen to a "dad joke" or two. Thanks to the entire staff my last visit. Since I find flossing rather irksome it required a team consisting of Peter, Amber, Lori, and I think even Jasmine from the front desk had to lend a hand. It looked like a tug-o-war over the ketogenic bbq stand at a CrossFit convention. Somehow I didn't feel a thing. Thanks again guys and see you in 5 months since it took me so long to write this review.

I was afraid of going to the dentist for so many years until I met Dr Smallwood. I have been going to him since 2018 and will continue. I love the staff and the atmosphere. Thank you for making my smile so beautiful!!!

My family has gone to Dr. Smallwood for 10+ years now and it's been awesome. He's extremely smart, friendly, and just cool as hell. Our previous family dentist always found "cavities" or other "emergencies" every time we went (this is all-too common unfortunately--see "The Truth about Dentistry" in the May 2019 issue of The Atlantic) but I honestly don't remember the last time me, my wife, or either of my kids were told we had any cavities or any other issue for that matter. He does not do unnecessary dental work. He's also an expert with Invisalign treatment. All four of us have had Invisalign with him and all of our teeth look great now. So glad our family has been with him--and his friendly and professional staff!

Very professional and friendly staff. They were more than happy to explain things to me and listen to me. I was made to feel like a person and like I mattered. Can't say enough good about this place. Every single person I interacted with there gets 5 stars from me, and I've seen the results of Dr. Smallwood's work in person. He transforms smiles.

I had a beautiful experience with one of the most professional staff and professional dentist i have ever experienced. Horrible hygienist..no service skills and outright rude doesn't want to listen to patient ...Then when asked for another was told no....DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

Below my post of my previous visit - about six month ago. This time, I was taken care by Peter. The best dentist hygienist that I have had among some very good ones. Quality defines this dental office ////////::::: prior ///:::/::/:: i have been going to this office for over 17 years. Outstanding dentist, competent and kind. It is a relative pricey service but the service is very good. There seems to be a relative high turn over rate regarding medical assistants but all of them without exception have been very competent. The service is provided 3 days a week ... I wish it were 5 but emergency services seem readily available if one needs them ... a drawback .... some nagging by some over protective dental assistants ... stressing ad infinitum my shortcomings on my dental practices ... once it is necessary , welcomed and enough. We are not children
