For my education, I earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at theUniversity of Vermont, then a Doctorate of Dental Medicine atBoston University. After finishing dental school in Boston, I completed a three-year residency in orthodontics at theUniversity of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and became a certified specialist in orthodontics.
Having a background in engineering and biomechanics provides me with a unique perspective when evaluating and customizing treatment plans for orthodontic problems. I take a careful approach that is systematic and seek orthodontic solutions that are effective and efficient, yet gentle and comfortable. I enjoy working with my patients to solve even the most challenging orthodontic and dental problems, and work closely with family dentists and dental specialists in our community and beyond to ensure that patients have coordinated, thoughtful care.
Every patient has unique orthodontic problems and concerns, so we take the time to get to know and understand each persons goals so the treatment we provide may be tailored to fit the needs of each individual.With extensive training in several methods of orthodontic treatment including traditional braces, Invisalign clear aligner treatment, orthodontic treatment with jaw surgery, and several other treatment modalities we have options available to treat most orthodontic needs.
