Our experienced oral surgeons, Jeremiah Johnson, DDS, MD, and Tyler McDonald, DDS, perform oral and maxillofacial procedures on patients of all ages. We offer dental implants, wisdom teeth removals, general tooth extractions, bone grafting, cleft lip and palate treatment, facial trauma treatment, orthognathic surgery, and more. Our oral surgeons are also trained in the safe administration of anesthesia. Our office complies with all regulations, and our oral surgeons practice the most advanced techniques to ensure every procedure is as efficient and safe as possible.
A native of Washington just north of Seattle, Dr. Johnson was exposed to medicine at an early age. The son of an otolaryngologist, he would take medical mission trips to Mexico with his family, where he was inspired by compassionate care to the underserved and the life-changing results they provided. Because of his many trips to Mexico, Dr. Johnson is very comfortable with conversational Spanish for his Spanish-speaking patients. He looks forward to bringing a high level of care to a small-town environment every day.
Dr. Johnson is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, North Central District Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, International Team for Implantology, North Central Washington Implant Study Club, and the American Medical Association.
After graduating from Seattle Pacific University, Dr. Johnson received his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his general practice residency at the University of Washington before going on to medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University, where he also completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. Dr. Johnson completed a fellowship in orthognathic and reconstructive surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Dr. McDonald grew up in the Tri-Cities, the youngest of three siblings. While in Guatemala on a mission trip for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he assisted a visiting U.S. dentist and was inspired to begin a career in dentistry. Dr. McDonald strives to create a personalized experience for his patients and is excited to bring his experience and enthusiasm to the Central Washington area.
Dr. McDonald received his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University, graduating in 2007. In 2012, he completed dental school at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry. His passion for anatomy and surgical procedures led him to an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, which he completed at the University of Washington, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in 2016. During his OMS residency, he trained at Seattle Childrens Harborview, UW Med Center, and the Veterans Hospital.
Dr. Garcia was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. He is a twin brother and youngest of five siblings. While volunteering at a hospital and dental clinic in Koh Lanta, Thailand he began his interest in healthcare. The son of a surgeon, he appreciated the combination of medicine and dentistry; a career in oral maxillofacial surgery had to offer. After his abroad experience he received his dental degree and completed his Oral & Maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Washington.
Dr. Garcia received his undergraduate degree in history and minor in biology from University of San Diego, graduating in 2008. In 2015 he completed dental school at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry. In 2020 he completed his Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Washington.
