My daughter had anxiety about getting her 4 wisdom teeth out. Dr. Solomon took time to talk to her prior to the procedure. He made her feel comfortable and she is healing well. The staff are caring and helpful. We are grateful to them and would not hesitate going back if needed.

The receptionist would not schedule a consultation for me because I could not tell her the exact doctor who wrote the referral for my children to see an oral surgeon, but I could give her all the names of the dentists in the practice where we attend. My kids have seen all the dentists in the practice. I could not remember the exact doctor who happened to write up the referral last so she would not schedule the appointment. So I will find another oral surgen. Ridiculous. I told her I could get her that later and she still refused. Ridiculous. Customer service does matter. You may not care but I do. If your doctors tolerate this kind of practice, I would not want you operating on my kids.

I was lied to about cost then treated very rudely when they demanded i pay almost double, 6 months After i had the procedure and paid the original amount. I had put off having my wisdom teeth removed until my insurance rolled over so we could get the most out of it as i was on a very tight budget and couldn't afford much out of pocket. Before i made the appointment i had the office run my insurance explaining the budget situation and asked for the exact amount that i would have to pay out of pocket. I was told after checking and double checking with my insurance, how much my insurance would pay and how much i would have to pay out of pocket. I pulled together the money and had the procedure done and paid exactly what i was told i would owe. Months later i got a bill and bombarded with rude phone calls telling me that i owed another $500+ because the amount i already paid was just an estimate. Now they have filed a civil suit against me. I was assured in the beginning that i would not owe any more than i was told, otherwise i would not have gotten it don't at that time. When i explained this, the response was "either you can pay the amount due right now or we can take other action". I wish i had all these conversations recorded.

The Front Desk person who is also the Office Manager is terrible and sorely lacks training in Customer relations . I watched her leave an elderly lady with a cane stand there waiting to give her the clipboard back for an unusually long time, same with a gentleman and she made a woman who cant barely walk and is obviously doable get up out of the chair and go to her to get her temp. Taken. When she was asked to make an accomodation to come to the woman due to difference in physical abilities she refused and when she released she was the driver not the patient she tried to force her out to sit in the hot care in 94 degree heat even though someone else had a person with them. She said that was "different" scenario . She also could not lift a finger to call to get the insurance address when it wasnt on my card even though she had a number to call to get it, throwing me under the bus for payment if her insurance department didnt have what they needed so I litterally had to call from my cell phone standing at her window and write it on the form for her. She was not at all busy during any of this, just appearedhellbent on doing the minimum to make it to closing time for her job and trust me I have been in a lot of Doctors offic4s, even worked in clinical settings gs thos was all uncalled for. That being said if you can get past the gatekeeper, the Docotor and his assistant are very nice and accommodating

I've been coming to Central Virginia Oral & Facial Surgeons for nearly 14 years. Each time, they've been extremely helpful in explaining everything from billing to the details of the procedures and so forth. They take the time to listen to you and even let you vent a little LOL! They're very efficient in getting you in as soon as possible so that you aren't suffering any longer than you already have.

We've come here twice for consultation. The first time, the ladies in the front were very loudly saying horrible things and making fun of the conditions of certain patients teeth. It was horrible and very concerning. This second time, we questioned the dentist and he responded with, "How many PhD's do you have?" The people here are extremely rude and the dental surgeon we spoke with was very entitled and unprofessional. Just an honest review from a local. I would avoid this place like the plague unless you have absolutely no other choice. But let's be honest, there are many other choices.

This is just to contradict the other non customer review. I booked an appointment and the front desk was extremely helpful. We all get busy and maybe she had a rough day or maybe she was rude. I thi k reviews are for services rendered and you had no service to review. Maybe take a deep breath and let me check out your reviews to see how far the comment was

Dr.Tricker was very thorough in his explanation of the implant process. I sensed that as important as achieving a successful outcome was, it was equally important to him to do so while keeping the patient as painfree as possible. He achieved both goals with me.I highly recommend him.
