I went to Dr. Jackson and team for extraction of all of my wisdom teeth. The team was methodical and extremely informative pre-op. They made sure, with many levels of redundancy, that my questions were answered. They had a sneaky back door exit so I would not make a scene post-op. They also have a very solid medication plan for post-op pain. 10/10 experience.

After having a botched root canal at a different dentist I called here and they were able to book me quickly for an extraction. Dr. Jackson was the epitome of what every professional should aspire to be. He made me comfortable he had a staff but was hands on thru out the process. He even called me later that night at home to make sure I was good. I had no doubt that he loved what he does for a living just by the way he treated this old lady here. Thank you Dr. Jackson, and the staff there for such a wonderful experience.

Worst experience ever. Wanted fee upfront! Not industry standard. Unprofessional staff.

One star is to much for this joke of a business !! This place is not doing their consultation phase professional and will lie to your face to get your $75 for consultation. I don't recommend this place at all. They're misleading and are not honest they are boarder line scammers. Their staff along with doctor is rude and unprofessional . They only think about money and they do not care about you or your health. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!

I went in to have a lump on my upper jaw evaluated. It took them multiple attempts to figure out how to get a proper x-ray. They couldn't identify it and referred me to ENT. On my way out, I asked the receptionist if I could pay the bill there or if it would be mailed to me, as I knew they didn't take my insurance (Tricare). She informed me it would be mailed. The next day, the doctor leaves me a voicemail telling me that they don't take my insurance and that I am expected to pay the full bill, and if I don't, he will contact my Commanding Officer and send it to collections. This was very rude and uncalled for. I am a Senior Master Sergeant in the Air Force Reserves and am a very successful security engineer. I pride myself on my integrity. There was no justification to insinuate that I wouldn't pay my bill. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. I expected more respect, especially given the fact that the doctor is prior Air Force. I also find it appalling that this practice refuses to accept any payment from Tricare or Medicare, which excludes most military retirees. What makes this even more egregious is the fact that the majority of the doctors at this practice are former military. The lump ended up being cancer. I was treated by both a military doctor at Ft Belvoir and a civilian doctor at UVA, receiving excellent care by both.

I have never been disrespected the way I was by Dr. Tricker in my life. He was very full of himself the whole appointment, which isn't why I am writing this because that is common with doctors. I am writing such a negative review because when I told him what I was studying in school, he said, and I quote, that his wife studied something like that and that all she got out of it was no job and that I should look into being something else because I won't be able to get a job. That is not something you said to an 18 year old patient at a consolation that they paid $75 for.

Great medical office - CVOFS, Very friendly and professional staff from start to finish! Dr. Solomon did an amazing job extracting one of my wisdom teeth today and I didn't feel anything with only local anesthesia! Thank you so much cvofs!!

Would not even leave one star if I could. This office is irresponsible and horrible. If you want better office service, go elsewhere. They won't tell you they are out-of-network which forced us to pay $ we shouldn't have.

Dr. Connor and his staff were amazing. I knew exactly what I was paying for in advance. Highly recommend. Dental procedures are expensive. You get what you pay for here, high quality. If you have questions ask them, they will take the time to explain everything.

Dr extracted a tooth and screwed it up, taking bone and socket with the tooth. Her assistant questioned all the blood and bone and she shushed her so I wouldn't hear, then she left the room, not talking to me afterward. Lots of pain and she wouldn't return my call, her staff wouldn't schedule a follow up appointment and I'm in great pain and may lose more, healthy teeth because of her botched surgery. Two out of three trips to this practice have resulted in botched surgeries. My dentist keeps telling me they are good and I trust him, but not any more. They won't allow phones or any devices they suspect may record their butcheries and they make you pay upfront so you can't withhold payment when they screw up your surgery. They rush you through and are always trying to cram as many surgeries as they can into an hour, neglecting their patients. All pain here. Run far and fast from these butchers if you want to avoid permanent pain and disfiguration.

I got forwarded to the Charlottesville office after calling the Culpeper office numerous times. I got a referral from my orthodontist for some work I needed done so they referred me to CVO & Facial. I didn't even get to make an appointment, after speaking to Amanda. She is extremely rude, and base on my interaction over the phone I choose not to do business with CVO & Facial. My suggestion to this practice is be patient and learn a few things about customer service. I will also take this feed back to my orthodontist about this experience so that they think twice about referring this office.

I called for an emergency and spoke to the schedule coordinator who kindly connected to the clinical manager sean. I had no referall but they were able to see me within 2 hours. When I went in it seemed very professional and courteous. After filling out the necessary paperwork I was brought to get x-rays within 10 minutes of waiting. When Dr. Tricker came in the room he explained exactly what the x-ray showed and best recommendation to proceed based on what needed/should be done. I had the tooth pulled and was expecting to be without a tooth until I could get an implant. He had suggested to talk with another dentist to get a bonding done until I could heal and get an implant. He had referred me to one who was able to get me in the same day. Most places only care about getting paid rather than the care. Total time from entering CVOFS to leaving was at very most 45 minutes. I highly recommend their services to anyone who needs any type of dental work done.

Big thanks to Dr. Solomon, Grace, Shawntay, Melisa & Chris who were so very kind, patient, caring and attentive to me during my oral surgery. I could not have asked for a better team to take care of me. I highly recommend them without reservation.

For those who don't want to read, just know that other offices refer to this place as "The Factory", for reasons which are now clear to me. Where to begin... I suppose my first clue as to the nature of this business should have been when the nurse tried to push a costly and invasive (and ultimately unnecessary) procedure on me over the phone when I was scheduling my "consultation". Generally, diagnosing before even seeing a patient once is not a great idea. My second clue should have been when they immediately demanded a $75 consultation fee with no explanation when I walked in the door. When I explained that my insurance covers consultations in full, I was told "We'll bill your insurance and reimburse you if they pay it". Yea.....no. Nowhere in the entry paperwork is this fee described or the process for "reimbursement" explained. My third clue should have been when I was taken back and the entire back area was like a kicked anthill. There is a frantic, uncaring, rushed feel to everything in this office that my instincts tried to warn me was not okay. Nevertheless, I persisted. My fourth and final clue was when my "consultation" lasted all of 3 minutes. I was talked at (not with), they didn't even close the exam room door or give me a bib before he started poking around in my mouth, and every question I asked was met with annoyance and impatience. (A light was also not used to inspect my mouth in a very dimly lit exam room, for reasons I'm not clear on.) The last straw was the appointment booking woman at the end, who was rude and dismissive when I asked about estimates and billing procedures. Bottom line, if you want to feel like a cheap product on a conveyor belt, come here. Also if you hate eye contact, love unprofessional and rude surgeons (looking at you, Eisenhardt), crave the vibe of a drug front laundromat run by the mob, and want to feel the thrill of confusion as to how much money you're spending, come here. Immediately after this joke of a consultation, I took advantage of the free market and went directly to another far superior oral surgeon in town who was not surprised to hear of my experience here and provided an excellent, professional consult and surgery coordination. Avoid CVOF at all costs. P.S. I thankfully didn't have a procedure done here but based on what I saw, please pay attention to the other reviews talking about awful billing practices. I don't doubt their honesty in the slightest. This is a money farm, pure and simple.

Go see Dr. Connor! He is such a joy. He was thorough during the consultation and was a pleasure during the procedure. His assistant, when it was time to extract my teeth, was so kind. I was so nervous but instantly felt calm and comfortable. Dr. Connor came in and made some jokes, and the next thing I remember was waking up and the procedure was done. Again, see Dr. Connor in Charlottesville. My best experience ever!

I had my wisdom teeth removed here when I was a teenager. I dont remember having any problems. 5 years ago I also had a tooth abcess and was referred by my old dentist for the extraction. The pain that I was in was incredible after the surgery. At the time I just assumed it was because I had a tooth pulled and of course it would hurt. Just a week ago my dentist did 2 root canals, a tooth extraction, and multiple fillings. OH and a lesion cut off my gum. I am in so much less pain with ALL that dental work than I was when they pulled ONE tooth. I will never use this oral surgeon again. My new dentist doesn't even refer patients to this office he refers them to another oral surgeon in charlottesville. I dont know why having 3x the amount of dental work was less painful than what they did at this office but the difference was enough for me to write a review this late after. I just thought it was normal to feel pain like that. It's not.
