A native Virginian, Dr. Buckwalter grew up in Northern Virginia, moved to Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University for her BS in Biomedical Engineering, and continued there to complete dental school in 2020. Afterwards, Dr. Buckwalter completed a general practice residency program in Roanoke, VA at Carilion Clinic. There she performed hospital dentistry, helping medically compromised patients in clinical, emergency department and operating room settings.
Giving back to the community is a huge part of Dr. Buckwalters desire to be a dentist. She has attended multiple Missions of Mercy events, and has been active with The Jamaica Project, organizing fundraisers and even traveling to Trelawny, Jamaica. She hopes to continue her work there and anywhere she can help underserved communities.
In her free time, Dr. Buckwalter enjoys hiking with her dog Cheesecake, singing spontaneously, eating and cooking everything (with a focus on Korean dishes ) and acrylic flow art painting. Just an awful experience by dr.curling pulling 6 teeth of my husbands at one time 2 weeks prior tobopen heart surgery

Friendly staff, but I missed my appointment due to a work emergency and they re-scheduled it for the next day at 3:30. When I arrived they told me my appointment was scheduled for the 18th at 9 A.M. I'm not sure where the mix up happened but I took off of work early for an appointment that was scheduled incorrectly.

Dr Buckwalter save my tooth that I didn't think could be saved. She is best dentist I've had in a VERY long time. So nice, patient and professional. Very happy place.

For the first time in my life, I had a tooth pulled without being put out. I met with Dr. Greene, AMAZING dentist!!! The staff as wonderful!!! On my appointment I had 4 molars pulled. Dr. Greene pulled all four and I never felt a thing!! All these years I've been scared to death to have a tooth pulled without being put to sleep (Almost 54 yo!). This office in Amherst is GREAT!! What a wonderful 1st experience!! Thank you all so very much!! So recommended to ALL!!

Dr. Howard is great with young kids and makes the process fun and stress-free. He explained about the plaque "bugs" that eat sugar and "poop out" acid which makes holes in your teeth. A very relatable way for kids to understand dental health! And my kids never forget to squirt him with the water sprayer! Tenisha is a great dental tech.

This a great little dental office. Dr Howard is a great guy who seems to care about all his patients. They are only open on certain days. They staff is very friendly and always welcoming.
