In addition to my education, I also have advanced training in both dental implants and aesthetic dentistry. I am a certifiedInvisalign provider and take continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry.
When Im not with my patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Stephanie, and our children, Graham, Blake, and Kiera. My hobbies include biking, weight training at the gym, traveling, and relaxing on the beach with a good book.
I am proud to join Central Park West Dental as a second-generation dentist. I received my BA in psychology from The George Washington University in Washington DC and later pursued a Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Immediately following the completion of my Masters, I went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU College of Dentistry, I was involved in many activities that led me to receive the Oral Cancer Foundation Award for Public Service. I also completed a one-year honors program in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology.
Following dental school, I completed three months of an Oral Surgery internship at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Medical Center followed by a one-year General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. I also completed a two-year part time post-graduate fellowship in dental implant surgery at NYU College of Dentistry.

As our office manager, I am proud to lead our team to be as efficient as possible while ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation. Having been in the dental management field for more than 20 years, patient rapport is very important to me. My office management skills provide a structured, organized environment for both the staff and the patients, and I am truly dedicated to promoting practice development and sustaining our unparalleled customer service.
I joined the Central Park West Dental team in October 2016, bringing with me 15 years of experience in the dental practice management field. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University. My position as insurance coordinator allows me to work with our patients to create a comfortable and welcoming experience at our practice. I enjoy creating a caring, professional environment, which helps put our patients at ease.
I am the head dental assistant at Central Park West Dental. I help provide cosmetic, restorative, and preventive treatment to our patients. Ive been in the dental field for more than ten yearsand joined Drs. Vogel and Alsters practice in 2011. What I enjoy most about the dental profession is the satisfaction of seeing the wonderful transformation in our patients smiles and self-esteem. As a member of Central Park West Dentals team, I love that we are always learning about the latest treatments and technologies in order to provide our patients with the best oral care possible.
I am originally from Cork City, Ireland. I immigrated to the US in 1994 with aspirations of working in the dental field. I graduated from Farmingdale State University in 2004 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and am certified to administer local anesthesia. As a hygienist, I believe in building relationships with my patients based on trust. I believethe most important aspect of my job is to be an educator, promote optimal health and disease prevention. I am immensely proud to be part of a profession that contributes to the well-being of others.
I graduated from Hostos Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene and also hold a Bachelors degree in Dentistry from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in Lima-Peru. I am certified to administer Nitrous Oxide and local anesthesia.

The entire staff works organically and in concert with each other. From Shari and Heidi at the gate and Patricia our dental hygienist and Howard Vogel, the dentist, the entire experience is professional and congenial. This practice is the absolute best!

Sometimes you get lucky. As a new Manhattan resident needing dental work, I searched online and chose within the neighborhood after reading the reviews of others. To a person, the staff is warm and gracious, the work not just professional but of the highest order. Further, I was quoted a possible range for the restoration work over the phone, but Dr. Vogel decided on an alternate solution that I knew something about. It cost less than half of the quote. there are multiple reasons this clinic has five stars and they all come down to a single comment: They earn it. Go there, you'll see.

Friendly, professional and attentive to client questions and concerns. They make it so you want to come back. They are all extremely oriented to make sure patients have the ideal experience. They take the time to explain everything. My entire family comes to Central Park West Dental and we all highly recommend them. In the age of Covid, safety is their paramount concern and I and my whole family feel safe and secure every time we show up. We highly recommend Central Park West Dental. I had a recent dental emergency on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. They squeezed me in took care of me even though they had to stay late to do it all. I had a great weekend and am extremely grateful that they did it all before their own weekend.

I am always greeted cheerfully, treated well, and have everything fully explained to me in as much detail as I can absorb. Today's meeting concerned a somewhat complicated situation, the resolution of which is not immediately clear. Dr. Vogel painstakingly went over the various possibilities for both accurate diagnosis and treatment and recommended that my periodontist also become involved in determining the best outcome for me. Dr. Vogel has offered to make a phone call and consult with him before I see him next week. No rush to immediate intervention here, and I very much appreciate the measured and deliberate approach. Thank you!
