Dr. Kareem Fatouh grew up watching both of his parents enjoy successful careers as dentists. Seeing the satisfaction they experienced from helping their patients sparked Kareems passion for dentistry at a very young age. Before he had even entered college, he knew he would follow in their footsteps and someday run his own practice.
In 2007, Dr. Fatouh graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He went on to complete the general practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center, and he has been in private practice ever since. His dedication to ongoing education and training has since led him to complete the NYU esthetic dentistry program and the NYU implant dentistry program, both of which expanded his skill set and expertise significantly. Dr. Fatouh has also attained his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).
Since opening his own practice, his love for his profession has only grown. He strives to ensure that his patients are comfortable from the moment they enter his office until the moment they walk out. Successfully creating lifelong relationships with patients brings Dr. Fatouh immense satisfaction, and he is dedicated to helping each of his patients achieve the healthy smiles they desire.
After receiving his Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Bachelors of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of California at Irvine, Dr. Atalla attended New York University College of Dentistry. Along his studies to obtain his dental degree, Dr. Atalla was elected to many posts, among them, class president as well as student council president. Dr. Atalla was the recipient of many awards, such as the Pierre Fauchard Scholarship, the Hinman Award, the Dean award and many others.
After obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1999, Dr. Atalla completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYUCD where he was elected Chief resident. He later chose to pursue a post doctorate degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at New York University.
Since obtaining his post doctorate degree in orthodontics in 2002, Dr. Atalla, has been practicing his profession with passion and vigor. He is a member of the National Society of Dental Practitioners and a proud member of the New York State Troopers Police Surgeons Group. He is also a police surgeon for Dutchess County Sheriffs Office and Westchester County Police.
Dr. G practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with expertise ranging from dental implants, All on 4 dental implants, wisdom teeth removal to TMJ therapy and facial cosmetic treatment. He also diagnoses and treats facial pain, oral cancer, facial injuries. His expertise includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort with sedation.
Dr. Farrokh received his Bachelor of Science from York University in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. He then earned his DDS degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Farrokh then went on to complete a General Practice Residency and Post Graduate Program in Endodontics at NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn.
Dr. Ian Rosengarten completed his undergraduate studies at Binghamton University, where he graduated Cum laude. He then continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he received the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award upon graduating. Dr. Ian then completed his dental residency at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow. He believes that a healthy life begins with a healthy smile, and is committed to providing the highest quality of care to all of his patients. Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Ian lives with his wife in White Plains and they enjoy travelling, wine tasting, and cooking together.
Dr. Dasny Castillo from a young age knew she wanted to pursue a career of dentistry from watching her mother work in the field as a dental assistant. Through her passion for helping patients and seeing the impact dentistry can make in a person, Dasny knew she wanted to bring the same happiness and well-being to patents herself. She received her Bachelor of Science from Manhattan College, where she then continued to pursue her education and receive her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and is excited to continue pursuing her passion for dentistry. As a Yonkers native, Dasny looks forward to helping the community she grew up with have a better outlook in oral care and help bring confidence back into their smiles.
As Central Park Dental's most experienced Dental Assistant, Lorie has been working in the industry for 15 years. She absolutely loves what she does and enjoys creating lasting relationships with her patients. If a patient is having a rough day, Lorie is sure to turn their frown upside down. On her off time, Lorie loves to read...her favorite author is Terry McMillan. She also loves to spend time with her 3 children.
Ethel has been a hygienist for 5 years, the last 2 years have been at Central Park Dental. Since a young age, she was always interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Her career path went from dental assistant to dental hygienist. She is certified in dental anesthesia which allows her to make her patients feel more at ease. In her free time, Ethel enjoys traveling, hiking, working out...especially attending her Zumba classes. Her favorite part of working at Central Park Dental is the constant interaction with her patients and she loves being able to provide them with the best care possible.
