Dina P. Porter, DDS Dr. Porter graduated cum laude from the Medical College of Virginias School of Dentistry in 1995. While there, she was a member of Psi Omega dental fraternity and Sigma Zeta honor society. After graduating, she spent time working in Virginia Beach and Florida before settling in Fredericksburg in 1998. She and her husband, Dr. Zavislak, opened Central Park Dental in 2001 and they have been serving the community ever since. In her spare time, Dr. Porter enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and gardening.
Robert L. Zavislak, DDS Dr. Zavislak was born in Augusta, GA. He graduated from Mary Washington College here in Fredericksburg and the Medical College of Virginias School of Dentistry in 1995. Upon graduating from MCV, he attended the University of Florida to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. After completing the AEGD, Dr. Zavislak continued to practice in Florida for three years before returning to Fredericksburg to open his own practice with his wife, Dr. Porter, in 2001. Dr. Zavislak and Dr. Porter have a home in the Fredericksburg area with two wonderful kids, Zane and Isabella, and three beautiful dogs. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Niki, Office Manager Niki is in charge of all of the daily ins and outs of the office as well as accounts receivable/payable, patient, and staff management. Niki joined Central Park Dental in 2012. A graduate from Radford University, Niki has been in the dental field since 2001 and has worked both in North Carolina and Virginia. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Laura, Hygienist Laura graduated from West Liberty State College with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in 1996. She has been with the practice since 2004. Laura enjoys walking her dogs, reading, boating, and motorcycle rides. She also loves working at Central Park Dental, where everyone is committed to making the patients comfort and care come first.
Mihoko, Hygienist Originally from Japan, Mihoko has lived and traveled the world and feels like Central Park Dental and Fredericksburg are now her home. In 2006 she graduated from Germanna Dental Hygiene program and has been with us since 2007. She really loves getting to know her patients. In her free time, she enjoys being at home with a good book and a nice cup of tea.
Richard, Dental Assistant Richard has been in the dental field since 1996. He graduated from Concorde Career Institute in California for dental assisting. He has been with Dr. Zavislak and Dr. Porter since 1998.
Melissa, Dental Assistant Melissa started with the practice in 2007 as a front desk receptionist and then moved on to assisting Dr. Porter. You may see her cleaning the kids teeth, assisting Dr. Porter, or even helping out in the front.
