Dr. Jiyoung Jung was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in child psychology. After moving to the United States with her family, Dr. Jung received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in biology at the University of Texas at Dallas, where she graduated on the Deans Honor List. At Baylor College of Dentistry, now known as the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, she was a member of the Odontological Honor Society, the Deans Honor List, the Dental Scholars program and a mentor for the Pre-Dental Enrichment Program. She also earned a certificate in education for health care professionals from the Texas A&M School of Graduate Studies. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was recognized with the Merritt-Parks Award. After receiving her degree, Dr. Jung continued her studies through the Advanced Education for General Dentistry (AEGD) Program. In the AEGD program, she gained experience in full-mouth rehabilitation, esthetic restoration, and implant surgery and restoration, as well as various periodontal surgeries and advanced root canal therapies like retreatment. Through the program, Dr. Jung provided dental service to medically compromised patients and special-needs patients. She has also taught third- and fourth-year clinical dental students as an adjunct assistant professor at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
Dr. Jung has been awarded her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction only 6% of all dentists have achieved. She is very detail-oriented, and she dedicates time to improving her knowledge and skills to be the best dentist she can be. Her goal is to provide patient-centered, comprehensive care.
Dr. Jung is a member of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Bart Miller has an extensive educational background and experience in helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. He is a residency-trained specialist in orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
He was born and raised in Rockwall. After attending Rice University on an ROTC scholarship, Dr. Miller graduated and was commissioned in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer. Accepted into the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program, he served on board the guided-missile cruiser USS Truxtun, stationed in Washington state. Following his service, he went to dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating with honors, then on to his orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry, currently known as the Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
After deciding that I didnt want to make a career in the Navy, I considered a number of different fields and talked to a lot of people, but none of them seemed particularly excited about what they did. My dad was an orthodontist, and I realized that he LOVED what he did. As I kept exploring my options, it began to look more and more appealing to me.
Dr. Miller has been practicing since 2001 and has loved every minute of it! Getting to know patients and their families, while helping them achieve their goal of a great smile, has been very rewarding.
Jodi joined Central Park Dental & Orthodontics in April 2021 and is a proud 2015 graduate from Concorde Career College, where she studied dental assisting and was named valedictorian. She has been in customer service for over 20 years and served as an MP in the U.S. military for 10 years. She contributes to the success of our practice with her great communication skills and ability to work with different types of personalities. She is also trained to relate and communicate in any given situation, especially when it comes to discussing affordable treatment plans and third-party financing. Her favorite part about working here is being a part of a true team that works hard to deliver the best customer service and treat patients like family.
Melissa has been a part of Central Park Dental & Orthodontics since September 2019. She graduated and received her dental assisting license in June 2017 from Concorde Career College in Grand Prairie, Texas. Her favorite part of working at the practice is being cross trained to help in both the front and back when needed and building relationships with our patients. She contributes to the success of our team by being able to multitask and translate for our Spanish-speaking patients. She is married to her amazing husband, Juan, and they have a handsome little 4-year-old boy named Emmanuel who always keeps them on their toes.
When she is not at the office, Melissa works part-time at CPD to take care of the office part of the business since her husband opened his own business in 2020. She also enjoys working out and going to the gym before work to help her feel energized throughout the day.
Itzel joined us at Central Park Dental & Orthodontics in August 2020 and is a proud graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology. She is an aspiring dentist and enjoys getting experience in the dental field to pursue feature endeavors. She is a bilingual speaker who follows up with patient care after hours.
Kayla joined us in March 2021 and loves educating patients on the importance of oral health and ensuring each visit is a good dental experience. She studied at Pure Dental Academy and TCC in medical microbiology. She is honored to be a part of an outstanding dental team that provides quality care to each patient who comes in.

Great place and definitely recommend going here! Moved to Arlington, TX and needed to find a place to do all my dental work, mainly the general check up and or anything else if it was required. I decided to visit this place due to its high ratings and amount of reviews. I enjoyed the profesional and caring staff that work here. They were very informative and always gave their best recommendations for things should be immediately be worked on (in my case cavities) or could be held of for some time (in my case recommended getting a custom night mouth guard to prevent grinding of teeth, but should wait since I was going to get braces). I also wanted to have the convenience of doing my 6 month check-ups, dental work, and orthodontist work at one place. Which was something unique about this place that caught my eye when looking around. They include a free scheduled consultation and appointments with the orthodontist on Saturdays. I also plan to get my wisdom teeth removed, but have always been scared to have them removed while being numbed and awake. I was told they do the procedure while under anesthesia, so I look forwards to taking them off in the future now.

I've been coming to this dentist for several years now, and you will not find a better dentist or staff! My hygienist is awesome in that she does not judge bad habits and helps me change those habits in ways I can understand. Dr. Jung has done extensive dental work for me and her perfectionism allows me to smile without hesitation or feeling self conscious. There will never be another dentist for me!

Good people who do excellent work. Very personable and know what they are doing. I hate needles, but Dr. Jung has a great way of keeping me relaxed through the process. Must say I'm totally satisfied and my teeth and gums are much healthier because of the confidence I have in them!

Without a doubt, the best dentist office in DFW! I have been going to Central Park Dental for over a year now, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Jung (and the entire staff) is so friendly, caring and professional. They make you want to go back just to catch up with them! As someone who hasn't had insurance in a while, going to the dentist has always been a concern. However, they truly do everything in their power to work with you and make sure that your needs and finances are accommodated. I highly recommend coming here!

Dr. Jiyoung Jung and her staff were nothing short of a dream. From the appointment that was schedule over the phone with Melissa to the dental assistant Marlene, everyone was so kind and made my experience seamless and enjoyable. I came in with the worst pain ever and left with the proper treatment. I could not recommend anyone higher than Central Park dental.
