Dr. Tammy Chen grew up in Claremont, California. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University through an accelerated 7 year combined program. Dr. Chen graduated with honors with an extra focus in Prosthodontics, Oral Facial Pain, and special needs patients.

Dr. Chen received 3 years additional Post-Doctoral training in Prosthodontics at New York University, where she obtained extensive restorative and surgical training, including full mouth rehabilitation and implant therapy. She is a professional dedicated to excellence in prosthodontics from preventative care to restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Dr. Chen became a dentist to change the way dental care is given. Her passion is to find ways for prevention in oral health and overall health. Thus, she has become highly trained in combining medicine and dentistry with a strong focus into craniofacial development and airway. Dr. Chen believes this is the most effective way to address a previously underserved public health need by combining preventive medicine and dentistry: the airway. Making people healthier from the root cause, the oral cavity and airway.

Dr. Chen was recently featured in the New York Times and other media sources for her expertise in prevention and healthcare. She is extremely passionate about healthcare and holistic systems of healing. She has developed an outreach program that brings a team of dentists, nurses, and other health care professionals to Nicaragua to provide free dental and healthcare to local communities with a focus on oral health education and prevention. She has also participated in many other outreach programs worldwide. Prevention has always been her focus, which starts with a healthy mouth and airway.

Dr. Gila Lerman grew up in Long Island, NY. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Biology from Yeshiva University after which she received a DDS degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lerman completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital before returning to Columbia University, where she specialized in Periodontics. Dr. Lerman is experienced in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical periodontics, including implantology, extractions, guided bone regeneration, minimally invasive periodontal plastic surgery, sinus augmentation, and laser dentistry. Dr. Lerman has received multiple awards, including the Melvin Morris Research Fellowship Award, Kenneth Siegel Award and Scholarship, Kaslick Scholarship and the American College of Prosthodontics Achievement Award. During her residency, she received her Masters in Oral Biology and presented her research at the Birnberg Research Symposium. In her free time, Dr. Lerman enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys cooking, biking, and traveling.

Dr. Pea practices dentistry with compassion and works to connect with patients to reach their treatment goals. Dr. Pea knew she wanted to be a dentist from a young age and in high school applied to New York University College of Arts and Sciences combined 7 year BA/DDS program. After completing 3 years of undergrad studies and graduating with honors, Dr. Pea was accepted into NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Pea is the recipient of Dental Deans Scholarship and the Hispanic Scholarship awarded to her during dental school. During her time in dental school Dr. Pea participated in multiple outreach events promoting oral healthcare for children. She was the president of the Oral Cancer Walk Committee and of Saturday Academy- a program geared toward helping high school minorities with college applications.

After graduating dental school, Dr. Pea was accepted into NYU Langone- Brooklyn general practice residency. Dr. Pea was asked to remain as Chief Resident for the following year and was able to complete more complex cases in all aspects of dentistry. Following her general practice residency, Dr. Pea was accepted into the endodontics residency program at the Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Hospital.

Dr. Peas primary goal in treating patients is to provide comfort and offer the best care and treatment possible. When Dr. Pea isn't working she enjoys to travel to the Dominican Republic to visit family, discovering new foods, and reading.
