I have been a patient here on and off for years and I would like to give props to the angels up front. They have never been anything but caring and helpful. I tried to have Mosaic send X-rays to my new dental office in AZ and she was extremely unhelpful and made it sound impossible. I just called here and they were sent in about two minutes. Thank you guys for being awesome.

Love Dr. Nick and the entire staff at Central Oregon Perio! They've been great and I highly recommend them!

Complete lack of professional competency. 1.)Their office never answers during scheduled hours nor replies to voicemails. 2.) After several days of retrying to call, we finally managed to get ahold of someone. 3.) It was Oct 12th, My wife has a time sensitive condition and asked to be seen as soon as possible, which apparently was Dec 22. A long wait but whatever. At least we got an appointment. 4.) When she arrived on that day (having to move her work schedule around to come in) they told her they made a mistake and accidentally scheduled her for Dec 22 OF THE NEXT YEAR. (Why on earth would anyone want their appointment a year in advance??) 5.) They told her they couldn't possible see her today (Dec 22) anymore, so no accommodations for their own mistake. And they would have to reschedule for Dec 23.. Now we are losing money because of a wasted day off work for these people. 6.) On Dec 23rd they call with 30 minutes before the appointment to say they cannot see her anymore because they are too understaffed!! This is twice now my wife is missing work and income for these unprofessionals. 7.) She now has to wait AGAIN until Jan 3rd for a simple consultation. Our trust in this place has decreased exponentially. Hopefully the medical staff know how to do their jobs. I'll update my review to a moderate level if they don't screw up the most important part, but this added stress and disorganization doesn't help the anxiety oral surgery already has. Merry Christmas. We'll see next year..

I love Central Oregon Perio! The whole staff is amazing and Dr. Nick did a fantastic job on my front tooth implant! I was extremely nervous as I have a past of dental trauma so going to the dentist always gives me major anxiety. The kind staff eased my mind when I arrived for my first visit and Dr. Nick was straight to the point and very knowledgeable. I have been happier and happier after each visit when I get the results of my healing process because it's healing perfectly! I even reached out to Dr. Nick the weekend after I got the implant placed to make sure what I was experiencing was normal and he instantly got back to my text. I can't say enough good things about COP! Thank you all! -Michelle Gilligan

Getting periodontal work is a pretty stressful and overwhelming experience, but the staff at Central Oregon Perio, and Dr. Nick, made me look forward to my visits! I had three gum graft surgeries before braces. If I ever need more work, I will definitely return to Central Oregon Perio!

It took 2 months to get an appointment. The receptionist said that there were only 2 periodonists in all of Central Oregon so appointments were 2-3 months out. That was an outright lie, there are other periodontists! I was rescheduled twice per their request. On the day of my appointment I was held up d/t construction, so I called and told them that I would be about 10 mins late. The receptionist said, it was no problem and they would see me when I got there. I continued another 40 miles, arrived at my appointment 10 minutes late and was told they could not see me. It is 2 hours one way to the appointment. If they would have said they couldn't see me when I called, I would have turned around and gone back home. I cannot recommend a business with such poor business practice and customer service. 0/10!!!!!!!

The receptionists at the front desk were disorganized and didn't realize they were still treating patients (start of covid) so they treated me poorly when I arrived. I wish I could say my visits here got better but they did not. Dr. Nicholas Misischia was completely unprofessional with me. Upon our first meeting he made sarcastic remarks about my body jewelry and tattoos. I needed a gum graft and the day I went in for my surgery he greeted me with a "oh hi tattoos" and touched my exposed shoulder without consent. When he noticed my hand was also tattooed he reached over my body touched that as well. He then went on to say while I'm under local anesthesia he would give me another tattoo on my face to look like Mike Tyson. This was so inappropriate and made me feel so uncomfortable. When you are a surgeon you should NEVER make any jokes about consent let alone someone's body. My gum graft went well but I never came back for my check up because of the horrible service. If you are reading this Dr Nick please treat your clients all with respect, even if they choose to look different.

These people are amazing! Dr Nick and his incredible staff make you feel like they genuinely care about providing the best possible experience. More importantly, they care about positive results - I couldn't be happier with both the care and results I've received following a procedure. Julie at the front desk is exceptionally helpful with making sense of insurance as well scheduling appointments - even with my other dentist! Thanks C O Perio!

Terrible service along with awful directions prior to surgeries. Front desk lady fails to properly place appointments resulting in manipulation and blame towards the clients. Very poorly ran and unprofessional.

Recently had a gum graft done here. It took a month to get in for my initial consultation and then another month before I could get in for the procedure, but otherwise I have only positive things to say. Julie at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable regarding the costs associated with my procedure, and Dr. Misichia and the rest of the staff were congenial and competent.

Dr Nik came recommended from my perio doc in Reno, Nevada when I moved here 5 years ago. My first appointment was an exam and xrays. Dr Nik was professional, timely and honest in my evaluation and treatment plan. I see Dr Nik for yearly evaluations and have cleanings throughout the year with his hygienist. The hygienist is amazing. I've had plenty of work and cleanings done in the past but the skills for keeping my work clean, healthy and pain free are exceptional. The front office staff are always friendly and personable and despite being so busy always have a moment to chat. Like any doctors office getting in is sometimes a wait but if the date I want is not available I'm always offered to be called if any cancellations happen. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Nik and his staff to anyone that is in need of their services.
