Opening in summer 2017, Central Maine Dentistry has been meticulously designed by Dr. Rohini Badlani to offer the highest quality in comprehensive dental care in an environment that is soothing and serene. Your comfort and dental health is the foundation of Central Maine Dentistry, and we strive for a positive experience for each and every one of our patients.
Dr. Badlani received her undergraduate Bachelors Degree at the University of Miami. She continued her education by attending dental school at Boston University, where she received her DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry) and where her love for New England began. Dr. Badlani has practiced general dentistry for more than 10 years in a variety of dental practice settings in New York City, Boston and Pittsburgh, thus giving her a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience in comprehensive dental care. She places a strong emphasis on continuing education and firmly believes in expanding her horizons and training to remain current in the latest dental procedures and techniques.
In the course of her practice, Dr. Badlani has been and is currently an active member with the Maine Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Originally from Florida, she and her husband, a local Oral Surgeon, have recently relocated to Maine to experience its beauty and peaceful, family-friendly surroundings with their young son. In her spare time, Dr. Badlani enjoys playing tennis, indoor cycling, trying new restaurants, cooking, traveling, and exploring the beaches and coastal towns of Maine with her family.

In fact, education is such an important aspect of her career, that when she is not in her office in Manchester, you can find her teaching at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine as part of the adjunct faculty, helping to cultivate the clinical and didactic skills of our future dentists.
You will meet with your hygienist and Dr. Badlani to talk about your medical history. If you have any oral health worries or fears, you can feel comfortable sharing them with him or her. Your comfort is most important, so we encourage you to ask questions. Next, your dentist will likely examine your teeth, gums, mouth, and X-rays.This is an ideal way to learn the status of your oral health and to learn how your dental team can help you.
Your dentist will discuss the comprehensive dental treatment plan developed specifically for you. While your dentist will provide the expert guidance you deserve, your questions are always welcome and you always have the final say in your treatment.
Your treatment plan is designed to prevent small issues from getting bigger and more expensive. It will address the problems that are bothering you now and may also identify others that could impact your long-term oral health.

Beautiful space, really incredible staff. Quick for scheduling as well. Even as a new patient I got in quickly which is not easy these days. I'm literally commuting an hour to get there and plan to continue

I just left this office a new person! I can't believe the work they've done and how I look and feel now. Having a kind and gentle dentist is something I've never had before. She, too, is thrilled with my new look! Her entire staff are all professional and truly caring people. I can't say enough about this totally awesome dental practice and my experience there! I have had very extreme anxiety related to needles and the dentist, which has kept me from seeing a dentist for a couple years. I was so terrified when i showed up (to get much needed fillings) but Dr B made me feel comfortable and heard, not to mention the entire experience was PAINLESS. The best dentist I've ever seen. I am over the moon happy to have found her to care for myself and my family. The people who work here care, I have never felt more comfortable or heard in a dentist office!!

From the moment I made the phone call to inquire about becoming a new patient I felt welcomed and confident in the care I would soon receive. From reception and insurance coverage to hygienist to the doctor I have felt comfortable and appreciated as a customer. The entire practice is warm, caring and extremely professional!

I had the best experience at this office. Dr. Badlani is amazing! She was able to set a guy with enormous anxiety at ease and got through the process of doing 6 crowns(ya I said 6!!) with so much compassion for a guy who has neglected his teeth far to long. Both she and Heather went through such pains to make a difficult process as easy as it could possibly be. I have a smile that I can be proud of and will be forever thankful to the awesome group of people at this practice! A special shout out to my hygentist Katie for making sure my continued care is also stellar.

Dr. Badlani is very skilled and knows what she is doing so it is possible to relax at the dentist's office! She has an excellent bedside manner, very friendly, compassionate, and does everything to put you at ease. My family lives an hour away and even with the rising gas prices we won't think of going anywhere else! -Beth

I have been going to Central Maine Dentistry for a while now and would recommend it. I hate needles and have high anxiety around them and Dr. Badlani and team were extremely patient as they numbed me for the filling. They had great communication skills and were extremely transparent with what was needed and why. They showed me my xrays when explaining where my cavities were. The hygienists are great as well and are descriptive and informative when explaining how to increase my flossing. Also, Kayla, at the front desk, is very friendly when I check in. The whole team is very gentle and strive for patient care!

Getting a quick appointment was great, the downside was lack of communication. Asked for a tooth to be pulled, advised easy fix, then after work was done, was advised that now it needed a crown. If had known that would have insisted it be pulled before spending the time and money.

Literally best dental experience out there. Modern, luxurious and ridiculously clean. Always has the most attentive, calming and educated staff and is always up on all the new techniques. Was impressed the first time I went and continue to be impressed every time I go.

I recently had an older dental bridge fail just weeks before we were leaving the country. Dr. Badlani and her staff bent over backwards to get me in even though the scheduled was full before we left. They worked with the lab involved to make sure they could also get their part done in time. I did not want to start the process unless we could finish and I was assured they could get it done, and they did. Absolutely excellent work, friendly and efficient staff got it done. I can recommend CMD as a dental office that is clean, modern, friendly and does quality dentistry. You can't tell I have a bridge.

3/29/21: After losing a part of a tooth during the prior weekend, I called Central Maine Dentistry to learn when I could be seen to evaluate my damaged tooth. Much to my surprise and pleasure I was able to be seen just a few hours after I called. Dr. Badlani once again proved that she is a caring professional and I highly recommend this dental practice. Great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Badlani followed-up the appointment with a call to discuss future dental treatment options. I am very pleased with the service provided by Central Maine Dentistry. 6/16/21: follow-up to my last visit. I had a crown installed (made in-house!) with the typical excellent customer service. Only one visit needed - a first! A call from the office the next day to determine how I was doing completed the process. I have worked with many dentists over the years but have found none of them compare to Dr. Badlani in terms of compassionate and professional dental services. Highly recommended!

I needed a crown placed on a tooth and went to this place and had the best experience I have ever had at any dentist. Not only did they place the crown, but they shaped the crown to the existing tooth and matched the existing color of my tooth. I had no pain during or after the visit. The communication between everyone was impeccable as well. I highly recommend Central Maine Dentistry to anyone needing a dentist. Again thank you for an amazing job and have a wonderful day
