Love Dr. McElroy The office staff, not so much. They cut you right off. I can't stand when they're nasty. If you don't like talking in the phone to patients, why do this job?

I went here recently for my first wisdom tooth extraction. Needless to say, I was a little nervous. The staff was very kind, helpful, and informative in terms of what lay ahead and what to expect post-op. Dr.Shah was also very professional and had great bedside manner. I will definitely be returning to this practice in the future.

I never leave reviews, but the lady at the front desk Tracey is RUDE. I don't understand how this lady is still working here. Everyone else is so nice and have such patience with you,Tracey is rude, snippy, catches an attitude very quick, and had the worst customer service skills. I'm currently looking for another oral surgeon because no one should ever speak to you the way she does. She's impolite, and bad-mannered. She needs to be fired!

my son is 16 and autistic , he will be having his wisdom teeth out in august , we had first appointment ,everyone was so nice and usually his blood pressure shoots up when seeing doctors but they made him feel very comfortable his blood pressure was normal!!! the building is older but the staff is wonderful!!

You guys lost a patient because of your rude staff at the front desk. Received a referral from my dentist and before I could finish my sentence Teresa cut me off and placed me on hold. I'm supposed to feel safe and comfortable and spend several thousand dollars at an office that isn't even courteous enough to hear me out? You can thank Teresa that I will not be having my wisdom teeth removed here. She needs a lesson in kindness and courtesy and patience and probably customer service in general. I'll do the research myself this time and find an office with a bit more compassion. It's worth the trouble

Dr. Shah is excellent...Very professional, yet friendly and reassuring. He truly listens to his patients, understanding their concerns and apprehensions, and really does put his patients at ease with his caring and his wonderful "chair-side" manner. He is extremely thorough, having consulted with several of my other medical specialists prior to performing this procedure to make sure that there were no negatively interacting medical details. I find that to be so refreshing, as the bulk of my experience with medical specialists is that they simply "do their own thing" without taking with any other medical professionals. Having to have a molar tooth extracted initially caused me extreme anxiety, but Dr. Shah and his team (especially his nurse, Angela, who sat with me and "talked me through it all") truly calmed my anxiety and completed the procedure quickly and extremely well. After the surgery I did not even need a Tylenol, there was no pain at all, and the minor soreness dissipated within a day. If I ever have any need for any future oral surgical procedures I will definitely be back fo see Dr. Shah!

I have been going to CJOMS for many years and Dr. McElroy has been my oral surgeon. Most recently, I've been treated by Dr. Shah. He is outstanding in all areas: kind and caring bedside manner, skill, professionalism, courteousness, timeliness and follow up. I've been to the Matwan and Old Bridge offices for implants and extractions. All of the staff is friendly, caring and helpful.

My 10yr old canenin recently for an impacted tooth removal. Initially she was so frightened and didn't want to have it done but Dr. Paterson and staff was so friendly and patient, and made her feel at ease.
