Central Florida Oral ...... is wonderful! I needed a tooth removed which my dentist and a different oral surgeon would not touch due to a metal wire close to the root put in decades ago due to a broken jaw. The 1st surgeon recommended this surgery practice. Dr. Gies and staff took great care to be sure I was comfortable (I have anxiety issues) and everything went perfectly. They were compassionate and put me at ease. The whole office staff has been great to work with answering questions and providing me with all I need. I've had very minimal pain and no swelling or bruising. Hopefully I don't need more teeth removed but if I do, I'll be back to see Dr. Gies!

My daughter was referred to this office by her general dentist to have her 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. Our consultation appointment was quick and informative. The price quoted was extremely reasonable. The day of the removal was quick and easy. It was the first time any of my kids had a procedure or anesthesia so I was nervous but Dawn and Dr Geis took great care of my girl. Dawn was absolutely great with my daughter and she gave me all of the post op instructions I needed. Recovery went so much better than I imagined. My daughter had little pain or discomfort which is attributed to the great oral surgeon and aftercare she received here. We went for the follow up appointment yesterday and all is good! She is healing beautifully. All three appointments had very little wait times, the receptionists were always friendly and attentive, the appointments themselves were quick but we didn't feel rushed at all. You can tell Dr Gies loves what he does and Dawn, too. They're a great team! The office looks a little outdated but the equipment and procedures are not. Plus I find the architectural aspect of the building fascinating and extremely practical. Very spacious and clean. It's safe to say we'll be going here for all our oral surgery needs. And thank goodness I didn't listen to the low ratings! This place and staff deserve the five stars!

So I went to their location because they were supposed to take my Dental Plan pricing. 2 times they overcharged me for a yank, twist, local anesthesia painful pull ,with no surgery or stitching of my jaw on 2 separate molars. A very rude Stacey in billing said it was my fault for agreeing to pay them! They caused issues with my banking relationship, credit. In pain months after pull and overcharged by 300.00 plus. Do not go there if you are old and/or, are a person of Color! Unfortunately unable to Negative on Stars!

Beware to check with your insurance if they cover panoramic xrays. I came to find out too late that my insurance covers it every 2 yrs. This office did not do their due diligence and confirm if this was covered before our appointment. I had sent them xrays from my dentist via email. They couldn't find the email, so I sent it a second time, only for them to tell me at the appointment that they cannot use the images and so a panoramic had to be taken. They never called insurance first to see if it would be covered. Then I requested a copy of the panoramic that I had to pay for out of pocket, and they said they could only give me a paper black and white copy. That's it, no CD, nada, after paying so much. Needless to say my dentist could not use the black and white print copy!! Very frustrating, costly experience with inefficient office staff!!

Had surgery here because the office and physician I wanted to see was fully booked. Worst experience of my life. Rude staff, Dee from x-ray and Blanca from billing were especially rude. The billing department is also a huge joke, my primary insurance was NOT charged for impacted molars. When I asked Blanca about it, she said "I don't know, but if you want surgery you need to pay your full balance today". Knowing that I was in excruciating pain due to impacted wisdom teeth. The doctor was OK, we had discussed the aftercare regime and medications. On the day of the surgery I was obviously, anxious and scared. His nurse kept commenting on my tattoos, that if I had the guts to get tattoos surgery wasn't nearly as bad... okay. As if anxiety over being sedated isn't real. She was very dismissive of my questions as well. I remember waking up TWICE during the procedure in pain and feeling nearly everything that was being done. Afterwards, when my dad got my prescription filled we realized the painkillers prescribed were not the ones I was supposed to get. Why? Because the doctor assumed I was some sort of addict or druggie because of my tattoos. After 3-4 days in excruciating pain my dad called their hotline (I was too swollen and in pain to talk clearly) and an amazing doctor answered the phone, he explained the entire situation and sent over a prescription to the pharmacy in the middle of the night (something they DON'T do, which proves the severity of the situation). Experiences like these are why people hesitate to go to the doctor. I'm still traumatized and disgusted by the treatment from the staff and the aftermath of the procedure with the pills and being checked twice for a possible dry socket. I read the reviews beforehand and was concerned, yet this was the only location with appointment availability despite my excruciating pain (I wonder why). Everything from their scammy billing practices to customer service needs to be fixed.

I have had TMJ for 30 years. I have worn splints since I was in my early twenties. Not until Dr. Fuselier gave me both top and bottom splints, did I get relief. Wish it was sooner as I had already cracked and crowned most all my molars. Great care! No future teeth damage!

Do not come here, I am a college student and I was referred by UCF health services to this place and it became a nightmare! I understand billing goes through insurance and whatever the insurance doesn't cover will be the patient's responsibility. I went for my appointment and their wasn't any solution to my health concern. I moved from home location and never heard from them ever again; not even a follow up to my health concerns or a call. I was contacted by a collection agency that I owed $880 for a one time visit. I called the billing manager Ruth and she was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. Ruth called me "irresponsible" for not knowing I had a bill and not paying them. The collection agency told me to call them to kindly ask them to help me during COVID-19 pandemic but Ruth refused to not help me and was so rude. This office is not health professionals at all. I understand, I have a bill for bad health service because the doctor didn't even care for my health concerns due to not having a follow up but IT'S NOT OKAY TO TREAT A PATIENT WITH DISRESPECT BECAUSE OF AN OVER DUE BILL. PLEASE AVOID COMING HERE, go somewhere that will actually care for your health concerns and will not overcharge because they said hello, my name is DOCTOR. Please go to a place where the front desk and billing manager is professional, educated, polite and know how to do they're job correctly. I was just asking for help not to clear up the balance! HEALTH SERVICES NEED TO DO THEY'RE JOB CORRECTLY SO PATIENTS DONT DROWN ON A MEDICAL BILL. READ COMMENTS DOWN BELOW OF OTHER PATIENTS IM NOT THE ONLY ONE!

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted this past wednesday. At the time of extraction the nurses and doctors were nice enough, however I called them today with a serious medical inquiry about clots falling out. All they told me was "call us back if you are in pain" and hung up immediately after without letting me ask any follow up questions about preventative care to make sure the sockets dont dry out or get infected. I had to contact a completely different surgeon in a different practice who was nice enough to explain to me what had probably happened and what I should do moving forward. I am beyond disappointed and upset with the way this had been handled. If a patient is calling about something as serious as a clot falling out you should at least give them the time of day rather than rush them off the phone. And as a side note, im a grown women, when I ask a question about medication I will be receiving when I'm strapped to the operating chair, the appropriate answer is not "happy drugs". The doctors are fine. The nurses there need to change their attitude and get a grip on how to properly conduct themselves in a medical environment.i also felt like one of the nurses was getting annoyed with me due to me experiencing anxiety at the time. Mind you, I have never been put under or had any minor or major surgery. I was reasonably anxious and it was not helpful to feel like I was being judged or being made to feel as if I was an annoyance.

Absolutely love CFL Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery! Dr. Loughner is extremely thorough and explained my TMJ issues in great detail. When my insurance denied the splints I would need to correct my TMJ, he wrote a very poignant and persuasive letter to win my insurance appeal. Above and beyond the physicians, Kaylee at the Oviedo office was instrumental in getting my schedule straightened out so I can finally fix this problem that has plagued me for years. Thank you, Kaylee! You were such a huge help, and I am so grateful for you!

I went in for a consultation, they had my insurance information for over a month but failed to let me know I wouldn't be covered. Got a bill months later and they sent it to collections just cause my address changed and basically couldn't keep harassing me with bills and notices, had just been too busy to contact them over the bill. Ridiculous policies about billing, collections and insurance.
