Dr. Charles Glosson was born and raised in Philadelphia. He earned a B.S. degree in biology (magna cum laude) from St. Josephs University in Philadelphia in 1980. In 1984, he was awarded his doctor of dental medicine degree from Temple University. After dental school, he entered the U.S. Navy and completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital, Oakland, California. After three years of naval service, he switched branches of the military and was commissioned in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps.
Dr. Glosson completed his endodontic residency training at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1994. He served as Chief of Endodontics at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, he relocated to Orlando and joined Central Florida Endodontics. Dr. Glosson is board certified in endodontics by the Amercian Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Glosson has taught endodontics in three different post-graduate training programs: The University of Texas, San Antonio; Eglin Air Force Base and the University of Florida. Dr. Glosson served on the Board of Directors for the Dental Society of Greater Orlando as the public relations director from 2005-2011. He was appointed the school resource dentist for Orange and Seminole County School Districts in 2006.
Other community involvement includes: Dental Care Access Foundation, Florida Special Olympics and the St. Stephen Church Mens Club. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Dental Society of Greater Orlando and the Florida Association of Endodontists. His outside interests include: long distance cycling, photography, travel and home improvement projects
Dr. Derek Slosser was raised in Satellite Beach, Florida. He earned a B.S. degree from University of Florida in 1987. He spent five years in corporate sales. In 1993, he began dental school at The Medical University of South Carolina. In 1995, he was awarded a two year Health Professions Scholarship with the U.S. Army. In 1997, Dr. Slosser was awarded his doctor of dental medicine degree from The Medical University of South Carolina. After dental school, he entered the U.S. Army and completed a one year General Practice Residency at Fort Lewis, WA.
Dr. Slosser spent the next three years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC as a general dental officer. In 2003 he completed his endodontic post-graduate training at University of Maryland Baltimore. Dr. Slosser worked in a private endodontic practice in Baltimore, Maryland from 2003 2007. In 2007, he relocated to Orlando and joined Central Florida Endodontics. Dr. Slosser taught in the Endodontic Department at University of Maryland Baltimore for 2 years. He was involved with the Maryland Special Olympics. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists. His outside interests include: jogging, fishing, and tennis.

I am in the Dental profession and have had RCT's done by other endodontic offices and it was done well However at Central Florida Endo the amount of care and kindness given to me was above the call of excellence !!! The assistant is by far the best dental assistant I have ever had work on me. I am not a great patient and require some attention but she was amazing!!!! she has been with Doc for years I understand. I would like to steel her for out office lol I am having another RCT this coming friday oh joy but honestly Dr Slosser is so kind and great at what he does I would refer everyone to him>>

I was very nervous this morning, however the staff and Dr. Cruz were very kind and were aware of my anxiety of shots. Though unfortunately I was unable to have the root canal done, Dr. Cruz explained in detail to me why and then forwarded all the information to my dentist. He has even called me to see how I was feeling after all the numbness finally went away, making sure I was not in pain. Thank you Dr. Cruz and staff. I would highly recommend Central FL Endodontics.

I had a great experience here. They were calm and careful. I had a twinge of pain at the beginning, they told me it was normal, gave me more numbing, and I couldn't feel a thing after that. I was so nervous as I know many people have had a bad experience with root canals. Here, mine went very smoothly. I hope I don't have to get another one; but, if I do, I would definitely go here again.

Great quality work from Dr. Glosson ! He is very thorough and did a magnificent job. He did my root canal and had to drill thru my expensive zirconia crown. When I went back to my dentist he was amazed at how small a hole he drilled so as not to weaken or compromise the new crown. Great place for sure!

Dr. Glosson came highly recommended from multiple people, including my Dentist. He took great care during my root canal and it was a wonderful experience. I would like to add that I was extremely nervous because I have veneers and everything turned out perfect. I would feel comfortable recommending Dr. Glosson to anyone!
