In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

The Dr and the rest of the staff did an outstanding job and they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I'd recommend going there for dentures to anyone that needs them

The dentist was very nice. However we figure up what we should be looking at to pay according to their price sheet for my husband 3500 we get THEIR figures and damn near 7000. Affordable that was comical. Now as for mine I went their 7 years ago and have never been able to get them in my mouth they don't fit. But nothing they can do. Wow

I went in thinking that I'd be able to get my teeth the same day like they said but they did my dentures Wong so I went back to get them re-done still didn't fit so I had to go back and do it all over again. I still can't wear my dentures until I can get my implants cuz the top is way to big for my mouth. They didn't want to re-do my impressions for my teeth so I could wear them but There is one girl there that really tried helping me there and thank you for that cuz they finally did them. They came out way better this last time but still can't wear them. They never said anything about my gums or etc until I already paid all this money and went back and forth driving from one town to another 3-4 times. I'm not happy with it at all especially when I paid good money and here it is 3 weeks later and can't wear my teeth. I look like my top gums and teeth stick out bad. I can't wear that to work or around town that's embarrassing. I thought I'd be able to have my teeth the same day then go back later to get my implants yet I was wrong. Other than that they are really nice and polite

Was quoted a price for extraction without it being mentioned that you have to pay for everything up front before you get that price. Was scheduled a morning appointment knowing I needed teeth pulled then once we got there we were informed that they only do extractions in the afternoon. We drove over an hour for absolutely no reason. Package prices are not that much cheaper than a private dentist. Staff in the back was great, front desk not so much. Very disappointed.

Don't bother wasting your time or money. You will wait in the waiting room for well over an hour for every single appointment. The waiting area and bathrooms are disgusting. They are always dirty, trash in the floors of the bathrooms, toilets rarely work. The back area of the office where exams and extractions is always a mess, cabinets falling apart, chairs with rips and holes. They will kindly pull all your teeth, but it's too much trouble to clean you up after. My husband had his teeth pulled and they sent him out to the waiting area... Which was jammed full as always.... Covered in his own blood. All over his clothes, his face, his neck and glasses. We scheduled appointments thinking we could get back to our home town in enough time to pick up our children. But an appointment time means nothing to this office. You will wait for FAR too long just to get to the back exam rooms. The only star is for the ONE front receptionist. Lady in her mid 40s, blonde hair, extremely sweet and caring. Not only will we never return, we will also not be recommending. Doing the opposite actually.

I was seen as a walk in patient with no appointment. staff was very friendly and helpful. I received exrays and workup then saw Dr. D. Nguyen who made me feel safe and informed of necessary procedures he would perform on me. This is a great place for knowledgeable and genuine caring staff in all ereas for people needing dental work of all kinds.

Dr. Nguyen took care of me. I had 16 teeth pulled and the staff was very caring and helpful. My dental history was filled with fear and untrust.i needed people who were understanding and cincere about truly caring and listening to my needs. He frequently asked if I was OK during my treatment. When we were done I couldn't believe how fast he finished. When we were all done I left feeling very glad I had chose affordable dentures. Thank you to all who have helped me.

Terrible Terrible wait times. My daughter was on time for her appointment and waited over 3 hours to be seen. And the employees are very rude. I went years ago and they were awesome, since they changed management, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Dr. Nguyen is the worst dentist to work for. He doesn't care about his patients, just the money, and he doesn't care about his employees. He overflows the schedule while being short staffed to where his patients are waiting in the lobby for 2+ hours sometimes just waiting to be SEEN! And when hes not making money, or a patient doesnt start treatment, he treats them completely different and says its a waste of time for him. They treat their patients so bad that I honestly would NEVER recommend anyone to come here. The office was only clean when I worked there because I actually did the work to clean properly. I quit after a year and a half of working there because Dr. Nguyen does not know how to speak to people and expects to get respect. I will never in my life have anything good to say about this Dr. Nguyen.The dental assistants are AMAZING! The lab techs are AMAZING! Without them, the place would not be ran. Dr. Nguyen does not know how to run a business!

I was just seen yesterday, I have had dental problems and have a deficiency that causes my teeth to break, Dr was so kind and respectful, Monday I will be having 23 teeth surgically removed and a temp denture until the healing is done then my regular ones. I will update after the procedure* Dayof procedure, everyone has been so kind to me as I am visually shaking, all employees took the time to assist with calming me down, Dr was absolutely professional and so kind, and gentle I will never seenother dentist as long as Dr Nguyen is available. 10plus stars .

They gave me my smile back! And did judge me for my age and needing this done. Val and doc are the best ppl I've ever met. Sure sometimes they run behind but they never take my time for granted and still take the time for me even if they are running behind. Thank you!

Honestly this place is a joke!! They won't return phone calls and they don't care about their patients. They run you through like cattle and just want to get to the next patient. You will set for hours and when you finally do get in they rush to get you out. I truly wish I had went elsewhere!! New appointment:: Well after my last appointment they did better at answering the phone and actually were concerned about my review but this was my 4th visit for the same problem (biting my lip) and after the adjustment they were exactly the same. I'm beginning to think they don't do anything but pretend and send you on your way. I asked her if the denture being lose made me bite my lip and she told me I needed new dentures if they were lose, REALLY my dentures were not even 2 months old and I need new ones?!?! Seriously?? Went home and put a liner in and they fit better but still biting my lip. Guess if I want that fixed I'll have to go elsewhere.

Doc Nguyen and his amazing staff were incredibly friendly, professional ,and they are absolutely experts in their craft !! Dr. Nguyen & his staff removed my 25 remaining rotten, and very infected, and probably would have eventually put me in an early grave nasty a$$ teeth, and he had me back on the road within about 6-7 hours with a brand new set of teeth / dentures!! Thank you Doc Nguyen you did an amazing job and you're an amazing Dentist , person and an even better Man !! I was scared beyond belief to have 25 teeth removed in one day and Doctor when did it simply, professionally, correctly and absolutely painlessly.....obviously I am sore after the procedure now but during the procedure he did not miss one spot and had me so numb I literally felt nothing for the entire procedure and again Doc N .and his staff are amazing!!! 5 * * * * * Thank you, Josh Harper

This Wichits facilities I will NEVER eget a good review from me!! My first appointment it was an hour and 45 min. PAST my appt. before seen 2nd appt 2 hrs n 15 minutes past my scheduled appt before seen!! Then I was only seen for 5 minutes only to be told I needed to reschedule for delivery with no availabil for 9 days!! So in t Total 750 miles and 3 weeks !! Rude staff when confronted with their incompetent service!!
