Dr. Jacob Henderson received his Bachelor of Science degree from LSU in Baton Rouge. He then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU Dental School in New Orleans in 2002. After completing both the Louisiana State Board exam and the Western Regional Examining Boards competency exam, Dr. Henderson began private practice in New Orleans and the North Shore. He furthered his knowledge in childrens dentistry while working in a pediatric dental office, and has also provided dental care to the impoverished regions of Jamaica.

In keeping with his commitment to excellence and continuing his education, Dr. Henderson enrolled in the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute. Here he completed his surgical training for the placement of dental implants in 2008. He soon then achieved Fellowship status at the Institute and additionally earned a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. This has allowed Dr. Henderson the ability to offer his patients more options when restoring their smilesand function. Dr. Henderson is a native of Central. He enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife and two daughters and supporting LSU athletics.

Dr. James Jimmy Hebert earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana in Monroe. In 1983, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Louisiana School of Dentistry in New Orleans. After several years of serving the dental needs of Central, Baker, and Zachary, Dr. Hebert opened his solo practice in Central. Dr. Heberts passion is General Dentistry. He is a life-long member of the American Dental Association. He holds a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and is striving for the Mastership Level. Dr. Hebertalso holds a Fellowship in the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and has published articles and spoken for dental groups.

Dr. Hebert has completed multiple Continuing Education Courses on implants. These include the Shatkin Dental Implant Training Centre, the Zimmer Institute (Implants) and the Misch Implant Institute. He holds a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Dr. Hebert is active in his church at St. Isidore. He completed three years of studies at the Religious Studies Institute and has aided several dental and medical mission trips to Mexico. Dr. Hebert is an avid fisherman. He resides in Central with his wife.

Dr. Ellyn ONeal is a native of Brusly, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society, for academic excellence and exemplary traits of character. Her love for dentistry was sparked by her mother, Angie Marks, a dental hygienist of Central Dental Care for over 25 years. She is excited to meet new patients, form relationships, and improve the oral healthand smiles of the Central community.

Angie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined our team in 1990. She is both anesthesia and CPR certified. Angie has been happily married for 32 years and has three daughters. FUN FACT: Dr. ONeal is one of Angies daughters! Outside of the office, Angie loves running and going to her camp on the weekends. She loves that our office is family oriented and caring, and she adores her coworkers.

Jennifer is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined our team in 1995. She has her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and is CPR certified. Jennifer and her husband, Todd, have been married since 2004. Together they have one daughter, Kate, who loves ballet. Outside of work she enjoys swimming, fishing, going to the movies, and hanging out with friends and family. She enjoys being a part of a team that genuinely cares about each patient. She likes connecting with patients through education, and she feels a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when she sees patients oral health improving.

Lexie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined our team in 2013. She has a Bachelors Degree in dental hygiene from LSU School of Dentistry and is both anesthesia and CPR certified. Lexie married The Son of a Preacher Man in June 2013. They live in Central and are raising two sweet girls, Lennyn and Demi. They are members of Cornerstone Fellowship. She loves spending time with her family, taking weekend trips, roaming around Target with a good cup of coffee, and helping plan fun things for young adult groups at church. She enjoys the friendly, team-like atmosphere that makes working in our office fun and laid back, yet professional and rewarding too.

Amie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined our team in 2019. She graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 2010 and is both anesthesia and CPR certified. Amie is married to her husband, Jesse, and they have two kids, Gavin and Haley. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, drinking coffee, and hanging out with friends and family. She loves that our employees and patients are treated like family.

Melanie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined our team in 2018. She graduated from ULM in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She is both anesthesia and CPR certified. Melanie is married to her husband, Scott. Together they have two boys, Deacon and Holden, and dog, Harvey. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys being a part of a dental team that works well together and treats patients like family.

Kerri is an Extended Duty Dental Assistant who joined our team in 2000. She is radiology certified, CPR certified, and is trained in E4D technology (used to make our crowns in office). Kerri and her husband, Chris, have been married for 17 years. They have a daughter, Claire, who amazes them with her accomplishments in school every year. They also have a son, Nathan, who always keeps them laughing with his silly personality. Kerri enjoys eating snowballs with her kids in the summer and making smores in the winter. Her happy place is relaxing on the beach. Kerri loves that she gets to help patients achieve the beautiful, bright smiles they desire. She says working here does not feel like work at all, because she feels like she is hanging out with her friends every day!

Jessica is an Extended Duty Dental Assistant who joined our team in 2009. She is radiology certified, CPR certified, and is trained in E4D technology (used to make our crowns in office). Jessica has been married for 19 years, and she has two boys. She has been a resident of Central for 18 years! Outside the office, she loves to work in her yard and plant flowers. She also enjoys doing activities with her boys, like swimming, karate, baseball, and playing with their dog, Chloe! She loves taking care of patients and working in an atmosphere that allows her to provide the best care.

Nicole is an Extended Duty Dental Assistant who joined our team in 2013. She is both radiology and CPR certified. Nicole is married and has two boys and two dogs. She enjoys watching her boys play sports, fish and swim. Outside of the office, she enjoys fishing with her husband and boys, hanging out with family and friends, and completing DIY project around her home! Nicole is passionate about dentistry and loves helping people achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. She loves her coworkers and says that Central Dental Care is the best team that she has ever been a part of!

Alyse is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant who joined our team in 2012. She has been in the dental field for 8 years and is both radiology and CPR certified. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas, in 2015. Together they have a beautiful baby girl named Stevie Grace and two dogs. Outside of the office, Alyse enjoys spending time with family and friends, vacationing, and photography. She loves the feeling of family among our staff members, and how we go above and beyond to make sure our patients are comfortable and well taken care of.

Lizz is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant who joined our team in 2018. She has worked in the dental field for about 7 years and is CPR certified. Lizz is blessed with a wonderful husband, and together they have a beautiful little girl. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy having family and friends over to cook and watch sports. To her, the most important part of our job is patient care. She loves that the patients feel comfortable when they walk in our door and get one on one experience with the staff and our doctors.

Leslie is our fearless Office Manager who joined our team in 2006. She is certified in Dentrix Essentials, and completed the Academy for Scheduling Excellence and American Association of Dental Office Management training. She is also CPR certified. She has an amazing husband, Ken, two boys, and two fur babies! Outside of work, she enjoys marsh fishing in South Louisiana and reading. Leslie loves working with the best doctors and staff and knowing as a team, we can help our patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile that they can be proud of!

Olivia is an Office Assistant who joined our team in 2018. Olivia enjoys working with her older sister, Alyse. Outside of work, she enjoys being an aunt, hanging out with friends and family, and being in the sun. What she loves most about our office is that everyone is so kind and helpful. She has also enjoyed learning about dentistry, business, and life.

Keri is our front desk receptionist who joined our team in 2014. She is CPR certified and completed the Academy for Scheduling Excellence. Keri has an amazing husband and three precious boys. Outside of work, she loves to bake. She loves that her coworkers are more like friends, and our patients are more like family.
