Im a second-generation dentist. I grew up going to my dads office and worked for him doing dental lab work. Being exposed to that environment was instrumental in my deciding to become a dentist: I wanted to work with my hands and with people, forming lasting connections and improving each persons life.

Since graduating, almost 20 years ago, Ive pursued every continuing dental education opportunity thats come my way. Its essential I stay on the leading-edge of techniques, procedures, and new dental materials to achieve the best results for my patients.
Ive completed many post-graduate courses on implant and restorative dentistry, geriatric dental care, and a wide range of general dentistry topics. By attending professional conferences, seminars, and lectures, I stay current on advancements and am able to provide patients with the widest range of proven care options.

This guy is THE WORST. He ripped my crown off without doing an xray and realized half way through he wasn't going to be able to replace it after I told him several times not to touch that tooth but he insisted and he's the Dr right. Of course he couldn't replace it after it was off and informed me what I had already told him. It needs an implant. I wore a temporary crown for 2 years until I finally had the tooth pulled in leu of an expensive implant. This guy is a quack!!!!!

Dr. Pritchett and his staff are so friendly. I have had so many bad experiences with dentists and today I walked in to get my tooth prepped for a crown and my anxiety level waking in was the lowest it's ever been going to a dentist! I would recommend Central Coast Dentist to everyone!

I recently moved here from out of state, and I am so glad I chose to see Central Coast Dentist for my dental care. The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Pritchett does a great job of making sure you are comfortable and informed. I recently had some old fillings replaced and I actually fell asleep in the chair. Hands down the best dental care I have ever received. Thank you to the team at Central Coast Dentist!

Had 1st visit today with Dr Pritchett. Was extremely pleased with both Dr and staff. The office was warm, friendly, clean and very comforting. Have worked in dental offices for 20 years and found Dr Pritchett office excelled in all area to make you extremely comfortable and confident that your well being was the utmost of importance.. I've spent the past three years chewing on one side of my mouth because of a filling I got from Dr. Pritchett. I immediately felt like something wasnt right as soon as he was done and his response was it's either that filling or he can give me a referral to go somewhere else for a root canal. Today the dentist at CaliDental in slo took the remaing part of the filling out.. most came out whilst flossing in the past year and I can finally eat food regularly and I'm no longer experiencing the pain sensation I've had since getting a filling from Dr. Gregory Pritchett. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE.

Our family has been going to Dr. Prichett over 15 years now his work has always been top-notch. He was always gentle when sitting in the chair with him and his pricing has been very fair. I totally recommend I am as a family dentist working on for generations with my family.

First started coming to this high quality establishment ten years ago after not seeing a dentist for some time. I was sold after getting 12 cavities filled in a sitting with very minimal pain and discomfort! Since then, Gregory Pritchett, DDS and his staff have also attended to my wife's dental needs who reports similar experiences! We highly recommend trying out this full service dental practice especially if you have anxiety from prior negative dental experiences elsewhere!

I wish you would stop spamming my mailbox. Every time I see your face I am reminded of what you did to my mouth. I'm finally getting an implant after 2 years in a temporary crown after you took off my permanent crown without looking at the xray. Please stop reminding me of the nightmare in my mailbox, thank you.

Gregory Pritchett is the Worst Dentist Ever! Be careful what you let him do to your mouth. They'll suggest you buy a dental discount card so you can receive discounted prices with him. And then he wants to do way too much work during 1 procedure. I agreed to have quite a bit of work done in one sitting, "sadly from the onset of his/the work I experienced pain". I went back in many times and it was never resolved. It took almost 2 years to get the pain 100% resolved with the patience of another dentist here in town in Grover Beach at WhiteCrest Smart Dentistry. I had to have Dr. Pritchett's dental work completely removed and replaced. When I called Dr. Pritchett's office and ask them to consider refunding me for at least one of the crowns, his staff became defensive and said no. And unfortunately none of his original staff is there from when I had revisited many times for relief of the un resolved pain. His staff turnover is high! This is my second time posting a review about this horrible dentist and I sure do hope Yelp will allow this post to be seen. Had to give 1 star to be able to post a review. Read his reviews on Yelp, I'm not the only person that feels he's a horrible dentist. Thanks for reading~ From Terri K I was told I could go back in and have him do more work. After having already gone back in so many times with no resolve I certainly would never go back there again!

I felt like I went into some kind of robbery club. I went for deep cleaning. I was never told that my insurance would not cover the cost, over the phone or in person, until I received local Anastasia. I agreed to pay $978.00 out of pocket anyways. In the middle of the procedure, they had me sign a concept form, the 978, and another bill of $4700.00. When I asked what that was, the doctor told me it is for filling, and the rest started telling me that most of it will be paid by my insurance. I told them I never agreed to pay that. Not to mention the doctor was telling me he had just seen one of my co-worker and included in my bill was an overpriced mouthwash that I was never told about. Very unethical, very unprofessional doctor.

Dr. Pritchett and his staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly! I am a new patient (first cleaning today) and have always been terrified of the dentist, since I was a child. However, my experience today was so pleasant and I was so very pleased with how accommodating this office was to my schedule and needs, as well as how positive the Dr. was about my dental health and creating a plan for the care of my teeth. I have very sensitive teeth and my cleaning was completed with little to no pain, which is completely game changing for me. I would recommend this office to anyone in the area, all ages, and I look forward to bringing my baby daughter here for cleanings as soon as her teeth grow in :)
