Dr. Levine is heavily involved in continuing education and organized dentistry for personal growth, professional growth, and for the benefit of his patients. He graduated from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1990 and did a General Practice Residency at University Hospital, SUNY at Stony Brook.

Dr. Levine was an Assistant Attending for Beth Israel Medical Center for nearly 10 years and ran the dental section of a satellite office in Hartsdale for that same period of time. In 2003 Beth Israel decided to get out of the dental business and Dr. Levine opened his state-of-the-art dental practice in Hartsdale.

Dr. Levine earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2006, which was the culmination of earning over 500 hours of continuing education spread over 16 different disciplines of dentistry and passing a full day examination. He earned his Masters in the AGD (MAGD) in 2017, with over 600 hours of continuation, with 400 of them being intensive participation course.

Dr. Levine is a high level leader in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He is Past President for New York State AGD, is a past Chairperson of the AGD (National) Public Relations Council, past member of the AGD PACE Council (one of 2 organizations permitted to approve providers of education to dentists for satisfaction of State continuing education requirements in the United States and Canada), is past Regional Director for region 2 (New York), and is currently an AGD Trustee. He is also a National Spokesperson for the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Levine is also involved, although not as strongly, at this time, with the American Dental Association, the New York Dental Association, and the Ninth District Dental Association.

In addition, Dr. Levine is a participant in the PEARL Network (Practitioners Engaged in Applied Research and Learning - based out of New York University and sponsored by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research - NIDCR), is a consultant for various dental products companies, a consultant and expert witness for a large dental malpractice insurance company, is a participant in a national network of dentists providing free care to those people that are prescreened and do not have the financial resources for care (Donated Dental Services), and he is exceedingly proud of being a Hartsdale Rotary Club Past President and Paul Harris Fellow.

Dr. Levine is married, Gloria, with 2 boys, Samuel and Joshua. Joshua and Samuel are now students at The University of Massachusetts Amherst, but are not going into the healthcare field. He is an avid skier, scuba diver, hiker, fisherman, horseman, and a hack golfer. He has been living in Westchester and practicing in Hartsdale since 1993, having originally grown up in Suffolk County, Long Island.
