An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This was the best dental experience I have ever had. They were straight to business and got started right away. I can't say enough good things about Dr Matos as she took great care of me and made this as painless as possible. She was very steady and confident and paid attention to any signs of pain. 10/10 would recommend.

I loved my dental assistant Lorena. She explained everything in detail before the procedure was done. She was kind, respectful and very patient. She answered all my questions well. For the first time I actually enjoyed my visit. Charlie was also wonderful.(I would hire her) Of course, Dr Finnerty wins the prize for best dentist ever. Will be back soon! I am just so happy that finally I have found a dentist that I really like and her staff is simply amazing. Felt at home here. Thank you!!!

Centerville Dental Office is such a wonderful group of individuals that care deeply about my family, not only with our dental needs but on a personal level as well. Centerville Dental Group is absolutely wonderful. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and thorough. Their prices are extremely fair and I have recommended them to many of my friends and family. I actually moved 30 minutes away a few years ago and still continue to go to them!

I have been going to Centerville Dental Group for the past four years and they've helped improve my dental health so much. Dr. Finnerty, Cheryl, and all of the staff are so nice and really take the time to get to know you, and you never feel like you're just another patient. Since my dentist retired about 4 years ago I have had a very difficult time finding a dentist. I had 2 different dentists and they ended up moving locations, then with COVID it has been challenging because I am very particular when it comes to my dental care. I was lead to Gillian Finnerty at Centerville Dental Group and my first appointment was today. I was greeted with smiling faces from Charlie and Emily at the front desk. They were so friendly and warm I immediately felt comfortable and at ease. Then Dr. Finnerty came right out to the lobby and greeted me and gave me a antibiotic I needed prior to my teeth cleaning. She was amazing! The x-ray technician was friendly and helpful. The dental hygienist Cheryl was so sweet, explained things to me and went the extra mile. They didn't even know me yet they treated me as a friend, someone important. I am truly grateful my search for a good dentist Intrust, and a wonderful office staff has been found. I was disappointed with my previous dentist. I felt they were always trying to upsell me and their prices for treatments were inconsistent. So I started looking for a new provider. I gave Centerville Dental Group a shot because they were close to home. I met Dr. Finnerty, the dentist and Cheryl, one of the hygienists. They were friendly and genuinely interested in me and my treatments. Their front office staff were exceptional, competent, and pleasant. It was a refreshing experience. They've been my dentist for nearly four years now and I won't change. Two of my teenagers had their wisdom teeth removed here, too. I highly recommend them.

I would personally love to share my experiences with the world and state of Utah about my Centerville Dental Group and Orthodontics. I have now been going to the Centerville office for as long as 6/7 years and I see these ladies every 3 months religiously!!!! They really take care of you, they talk to you about anything and everything about your mouth and teeth. I really trust them and I don't trust a lot of different people around my mouth, it's my temple to life, not all people are allowed. Cheryl Benedict my Hygienist has to be the best in the business, I love her ethic, her assistant even before she get to me I'm well taking care of, from everyone who I'm involved with from the time I enter those doors to the last person I see before leaving I truly am blessed to have this group of professionals to deal with me on a every 90 day basis (3months). I had chances to switching and going somewhere else but again all these wonderful people that work and care for me, isn't worth me leaving and starting over again where they are not personal, I'm known on a first name basis, these ladies can tell you where I work, how long I've been with them and what I need so that I keep the perfect mouth and smile no point intended, but again nothing else works for me mouthwise, Thank you to each and every individual that work hard to keep me updated on my personal hygiene. To the wonderful young women whom help cleans and flosses my teeth, she is just as important as Gillian Finnerty who finishes the job up last, I appreciate all of you wonderful women that work there, thank you to all that take very good care of me, I would never switch up on you because each and every last one of you that I deal with are awesome ....
