Dr. Cohen, a native of New Jersey, graduated from Rutgers College in 1988. After college, he went onto the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for four years, and graduated in 1992. During dental school, he served as class president for three years, and received many awards and honors for his academic achievements.
Dr. Cohens aspiration to become an orthodontist stemmed from his own treatment when he was twelve years old. He pursued his goal by graduating from Rutgers College and then attended dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for four years. He then attended a two-year post-doctoral orthodontic program at Temple Universitys School of Dentistry to receive his orthodontic certificate and a masters degree in dentistry.
Along with his successful private practice, Dr. Cohen is part of the teaching faculty at Albert Einstein Medical Centers Department of Dental Medicine, in Philadelphia. Dr. Cohen has been teaching residents how to become orthodontists for more than 19 years. He has developed an Invisalign curriculum at Albert Einstein Medical Center Department of Dental Medicine-Philadelphia and has become an expert in the management of minor and complex teen and adult Invisalign patients. Ona personal note, he and his wife have been married for over25 years, and have two children.
According to the American Association of Orthodontists, archaeologists have discovered mummies with crude metal bands wrapped around their teeth. The quest for straight teeth is certainly not a recent thing..braces date back to ancient man.However, the techniques sure have changed.. So straight teeth have been on our minds for a long time. Its just the methods that have changed.
In the early 1900s, bands that fit around the teeth were made of silver, gold and platinumNow thats what you call real bling! However, the metals were so soft that adjustments had to be made very frequently.and treatment time went on for years and years. Not like it is now when you only have to come in every four or six weeks and most cases are completed in just 2 years.

Just spoke to Rachel over the phone to schedule two consultation appointments for both of my kids. She was SO very pleasant and helpful!! We haven't even been there yet but the experience I had over the phone was wonderful.

Favorite orthodontist ever. Dr Cohen corrected my problem beautifully. I have a much better result than with my previous orthodontist. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and they took my insurance (bonus!). Highly recommend.

Dr. Cohen and his staff are professional and friendly. Dr. Cohen is a qualified orthodontist, with the training and experience to provide the best in orthodontic care. As an older patient I did not want the look of metal braces. The clear aligners were the perfect solution to my needs. i love the results.

I have brought both of my daughters here and I love the one on one attention they receive from Dr. Cohen. He personally checks their progress in treatment at each appointment and always lets me know how they are progressing. The staff is equally amazing in my daughters treatments as well! All three of my children went to Centerton Orthodontics for their braces and we're very satisfied with the results. Dr. Cohen is patient, gentle and soft spoken which was great for my one daughter who tends to be a bit timid. His staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Centerton Orthodonics.

We have been seeing Dr Cohen for over 5 years between my two daughters. Dr Cohen and the whole staff at Centerton Orthopedics is top notch. I've never been to a more well run office, general wait time 2 minutes or less. By the time you sit down they are calling your child. My youngest daughter is still in braces but my oldest daughter's teeth look fantastic so I can vouch for a positive outcome. Bottom line, If you enjoy dealing with pleasant people who are great at what they do, i highly recommend Centerton Orthodontics.

My daughter went the invisalign route and we both couldn't be happier. She's so happy with the way her teeth look now. The staff are great, very friendly and you are in and out in 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cohen for all your orthodontic needs.

As an older adult, I was hesitant to go through the orthodontic process that I experienced as a teen. Much to my surprise, there are many new methods for straightening teeth. After an easy consultation with Dr Cohen, we used the clear smiles method. I couldn't be happier with the results!! The staff is friendly and helpful and I didn't experience long waits during my appointments. Five stars for Centerton Orthodontics!!
