Dr. Catharine Kwon attended Loma Linda University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 2009. She then went on to receive her certificate in the specialty of Prosthodontics after completing a three-year residency. Dr. Kwon also received a Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in 2013.
As a Prosthodontist, Dr. Kwon has the knowledge and training to treat patients with dental needs that surpass the scope of care provided by most general dentists. Dr. Kwon believes that her Prosthodontic training allows her to provide all patients, whether they need a single restoration or a full-mouth reconstruction, with the most specialized care possible.
During her free time, Dr. Kwon enjoys reading, exercising, trying out new restaurants and most importantly, spending time with her husband and new addition to their family, son Preston, born in March (2015).
Dr. Jinsoo Kim attended University of Washington and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 2005. He decided to further his medical knowledge by pursuing General Practice Residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he treated all types of patients including medically compromised patients. He went into private practice for three years after finishing his General Practice Residency where he learned his passion for anesthesia. He attended Loma Linda University to receive his certificate in Dental Anesthesiology from 2009 to 2011. He became board certified by American Dental Board of Anesthesiology in 2012.
As a Dentist Anesthesiologist, Dr. Kim has the knowledge and training to perform full spectrum of anesthesia from minimal sedation to general anesthesia where only handful of dentists are able to do so.He is a member of American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologist, American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Society of Anesthesiology, Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, and Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.During his free time, Dr. Kim enjoys sports, traveling, trying new food and spending time with his family.

Dr Kwon is a true blessing for her patients. She has a very caring, highly skilled yet down to earth, patient & positive approach in taking care of me as her patient, goes above & beyond. She is ethical & methodical. She just did what was right for me, explained me all options & which one would work the best in a long run. I truly appreciate your help. Thank you, Dr Kwon. Same goes for Her staff. Five stars & kudos.

I have had dentist phobia for years!I was terrified of the dentist. I researched and I found Dr Kwon's office. On my initial visit, everyone in the office was very nice. The office is really pretty and modern. Dr Kwon reassured me everything would be ok and she made me feel very comfortable. On my first visit, I was able to get a cleaning done. I went to another dentist office last year and I could not get the cleaning done because of the pain so I was very impressed with this office. I scheduled my extraction. I had it done yesterday by Dr Kim. I promise it was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. I felt no pain whatsoever. I am usually crying and having a panic attack none of that happened. I was shocked how calm I felt. I usually do not post reviews but I feel people should know that if you are scared of the dentist this office will definitely change your mind with their professionalism,expertise and patience. Also, yes they were having conversations while they were working on my teeth but in no way was it unprofessional at all. It did not bother me and in fact it made me even more comfortable because I was laughing at some of the things they said. You have to keep an open mind because it is an uncomfortable situation and they made it light by talking and laughing. I can honestly say they are the best Dentist I have encountered and I look forward to completing all of my dental needs with them.

The most unprofessional office I have ever encountered.(and I'm 65) I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth extracted, recommended by Dr. Kwon. On my last visit, she told me she would check with her husband who is the anesthesiologist, and would contact me to schedule me. After not hearing from her office for several days, I called, not once but five different times and never have gotten a response to this date. Each time I called, I was promised that I would get a response-to no avail. During my visits, the doctor and other employees are having personal conversations over my face. Completely unprofessional. There's more but I will leave it at that.

All around best dentist! Dr. Kwon is amazing, she is so nice, caring and gentle. Unlike other places I have been I feel comfortable when I walk in and know that I can trust her with any of her decisions. The front staff is always so welcoming with a smiling face. The facility is always so clean and tidy. I cant say enough good things about this place and would recommend them to anyone!

I initially visited Centerpoint for a routine checkup and x-rays. When I walked through the doors I was impressed, the office is beautiful! The staff are warm, polite and knowledgeable. Then I meet Dr. Quan who noticed I was visibly nervous. She made certain I was comfortable and talked me through what to expect and what would happen. I loathe going to the dentist however I was pleasantly surprised with my visit at Centerpoint! Everyone there exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Kwon is kind, a great listener, and always has her patients' best interests at heart. She explains what she is seeing and doing every step of the way and never over treats. I have already recommended her to several colleagues. I drive from Irving to see her and will keep doing so. I am usually pretty nervous going to the dentist but not with this office! Decor is on point too :).

Dr Kwon at Centerport is an amazing dentist!! First of all I love her office, it's beautifully done with cutting edge technology. Dr Kwon is super nice and does an outstanding work.
