Dr. Abdoll (pronounced Ab-Doll, also known as Dr. A) is originally from Northern Virginia. He comes from a family with strong ties in the medical field. His brother is a plastic surgeon with extensive training in the craniofacial field and his sister is a Bariatric surgeon at the UT Southwestern Dallas Texas.
Dr. Abdoll attended the University of Maryland for undergraduate studies. After receiving his degree, he moved to Boston where he graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). Upon earning his D.M.D., he completed his post-doctoral training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University with a scholarship granted from the United States Air Force.
After finishing his residency, he served two active duty tours with the United States Air Force in Okinawa, Japan and returned to Virginia, Langley Air Force Base for his last tour. While on active duty, Dr. Abdoll was awarded two Achievement Medals for Meritorious Services for his dedication and service to the military. At Langley Air Force Base, he held a faculty position teaching military dental residents the full spectrum on pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Abdolls training includes comprehensive pediatric dentistry, pediatric emergencies, parental and patient education with preventative measures, behavior management/modification of the fearful or anxious patient, treating patients with special needs, full orthodontics, including space management and appliance therapy, periodontal, endodontics, pediatric oral surgery, sedation, and hospital dentistry.
Dr. Abdoll stays abreast of the latest dental developments by attending many continuing education seminars and has lectured to numerous military dentists while on active duty. He takes great pride in providing his patients with outstanding care and the latest in pediatric dental technology.
Dr. Abdoll attends health fairs, schools, churches, works with different charity organizations, and participates in community outreach programs. He is passionate about providing free health screenings to spread the word on the importance of dental health.
Dr. Abdoll enjoys all sports, music, and most of all, spending time with his family. Dr. Abdoll and his wife Karla, are proud parents of two kids at Seton Catholic Prep High School. Pleasant staff and friendly to children. Very help. Appreciate their willingness to communicate in thorough manner and ease children's fears. Fun office libby to distract while parents complete paperwork. Multilingual.

We originally shared both insurance information and both of them work. But they were so adamant in collecting the money first and then saying that they will work with insurance companies. I have went to other dental offices and none of them collected money first and then work with secondary insurance. They work with both insurance and if there is anything pending, they send out a bill. I am so appalled by this busines mindset

As a dental professional myself (adult dentistry), I highly HIGHLY recommend CFPD. I have been taking my daughter here for two years now, and always thoroughly impressed of the phenomenal care they provide for my family. As soon as you walk through the doors you are greeted promtly by the most pleasant and professional front desk staff, that make you feel right at home. The office itself is very clean and organized, with a fun, kid friendly atmosphere. Assistants/hygienists are gentle and warm towards my daughter with great bed-side manners to keep her comfortable and at ease. Dr. A is the best pediatric dentist in the valley!!! Every visit he tries to make a connection with my daughter, without rushing to see the next patient. He is attentive, skilled, knowledgeable, and utterly superb. You can absolutely see that he takes pride in all his work. Everytime we leave the office my toddler brags about how she got to watch tv up on the ceiling above the dental chair. And I absolutelly love seeing her face light up when she gets a token for the prize machine at the end of each visit. Totally worth the 40 minute commute each way, wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else.

The Dr was amazing! Did my sons Lip Tie went fast no sedation needed for my 15 month old my son was comfortable the whole time and he explained everything from start to finish ! I was nervous to make the decision but he had a level 4 lip tie highly recommended this office !

The place is very clean and comfortable and my kids love to play on the games they have. I completely trust Dr Abdoll and really appreciate his informative but yet caring manner. Very thorough and patient. The staff is very friendly too. Love this dentist and won't need to look around for another place.

Dr. Abdoll and his staff are efficient and extremely kind and caring to both my children and myself. Very upfront on cost which I appreciate as well. My daughter had a couple teeth pulled today, also a cavity filled and sealant. Dr. Abdoll and his assistant talked her through it all and she was never scared during her visit. She walked in there a little scared and walked out confident and proud of herself. My other daughter was able to get her sealant done as well during the appointment and she was happy and taken care of while I was with her sister. I highly recommend Center for Pediatric Dentistry. Thank you for taking care of my kiddos!!

The staff is always excellent and professional when we come in. The office is always clean and they take the proper steps to sanitize. Dr. Abdoll really connects with the kids and talks to them at there level. He always has their best interest in mind. I recommend him with confidence that your children will have the best dental care here. I live in Tempe and im willing to make the drive for my kids.

My daughter had a lip tie procedure today. I walked in and I was very impressed with how nice, clean, and kid friendly the office was. The staff was very welcoming and professional. I was very nervous about the procedure, but once we saw Dr. A, he took his time to explain everything and had the patience to answer all of my questions. Dr. A is truly amazing! Wonderful experience!!! This was our first time here and as soon as we entered the office I could tell they took Covid precautions, which is very important to me. He was very polite and thorough...didn't rush the visit like other places do. He explained everything to me, which I greatly appreciated. Another plus, the office was not crowded with patients. Even my kids expressed how much they liked the office and doctor. :) I am so happy we found this place! Thank you so much for such great service and for caring about your patients! A+

Dr. A is AMAZING!! My son has been seeing Dr. A since he was little and he loves him. Dr. A is so kind and knows how to make going to the dentist so much more enjoyable. He knows how to work with his patients and understands that every child can feel different about visiting the dentist. All of the staff are amazing, they enjoy their job and that makes a difference.

Dr.Abdoll is wonderful... he took care of my grandson as if he was his own child very personable and professional.
