Dr. Dina Elhout graduated from Oakland University with a Masters Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. With a passion for helping people achieve confidence that begins with their smile, Dina joined the University of Detroit Mercy where she completed her dental degree.
Dr. Elhout is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association as well as the Detroit Dental Society. She is committed to continuing her education and improving her clinical skills through attending various seminars and classes throughout the year.
Dr. Elhout is a Troy native. She participates in multiple research studies that covered a wide range of topics in the dental field as well as presented her own research at numerous international conferences. Dr. Elhout was the recipient of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists award in 2014. Her areas of clinical interest include a wide range of procedures from cosmetic dentistry to family dentistry. She strives to provide excellent dental care to every patient under her care. Her philosophy is to treat each patient as a family member. Dr. Elhout strongly believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered her time to participate in numerous dental community programs including the most recent one, Give Kids a Smile. She is always attending new continuing education courses to update her dental education and integrate the newest techniques into her dental practice.
Dr. Yasser Alali graduated from University of Detroit Mercy where he completed his dental degree. With a passion for restoring smiles, he furthered his education and became a Board Certified Prosthodontist at University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey, where he completed a 3 year residency in Prosthodontics in addition to a Masters of Science in Dentistry. Prosthodontists have advanced skills in creating the perfect smile using implants, veneers, crowns, dentures and whitening. It is the only specialty recognized by the American Dental Association that is considered cosmetic dentistry. He is also heavily involved in the Biomedical Informatics field which incorporates technology and medical science. He is an Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy where he enjoys applying his skills and knowledge to help dental students gain a valuable education.
Professionally, he is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, board member of the American College of Prosthodontists-Michigan Section, American Dental Education Association, as well as the Detroit Dental Society. I have been working as a dental assistant for over 16 years. I enjoy keeping up to date with the new techniques in dentistry. I have many years of attending advanced seminars to add on to my dental experience. I love seeing the results and transformations that our patients undergo and I believe that everyone of our patients will be happy with their result and walk out with a perfect smile. In my free time I enjoy spending my time with my husband, daughter and son.
Kara is a graduate from Wayne County Community College in 2012. She enjoys getting to know patients and educating them in oral health. She loves the meticulous work of cleaning teeth and seeing patients leave with a smile on their face. In her free time, she keeps busy with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
Vellenie has 15 years experience working in the dental field; with dual experience working with patients as a Dental Assistant and as Patient Care Representative in our front office. She enjoys taking care of our patients and making them feel comfortable. In all situations, Vellenie strives to make each visit enjoyable for all.
