Meet Dr. Quinn Chan representing MyCDMR is a Prosthodontist and Restorative Specialist who works with patients that have problems ranging from deterioration of single teeth to the full mouth. After over a decade of specializing in Prosthodontics, Dr. Chan has come to recognize the comprehensive extent of harm and injury that some patients' mouths experience over a lifetime of repetitive trauma, and the complex nature of treating and restoring these patients to a healthy occlusion and esthetics where the teeth come together and function harmoniously. With his background in engineering, Dr. Chan has a unique understanding and ability to integrate technology with his treatment planning and therapy, which he uses to enrich patients' experiences and enhance accuracy and predictability of treatment. His perceptual ability, technological expertise in synergy with his extensive knowledge in dental medicine is a unique quality that differentiates him from many clinicians. As a team of over a decade with CDMR's Periodontist, Dr. Oh, he understands the intricacies of merging their specialized talents to maximize treatment outcomes for the most complex conditions.
Originally hailing from suburban Washington, D.C., Dr. Chan attended the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering in 1999 and then subsequently received his Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the Johns Hopkins University. Before finding his path in dentistry, Dr. Chan had a career as an engineer working at the National Institutes of Health. Dissatisfied with his career to that point, Dr. Chan sought to find a path where he could apply his extensive knowledge as an engineer and have a meaningful impact on those in need of healthcare. Realizing that the field of dentistry encompasses both the science of engineering and artistry, combined with the day to day impact it has on patients, Dr. Chan embarked on a new career path and earned his D.M.D at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While advancing his dental education through a General Dental residency at the University of Connecticut, he made the ultimate decision that, in order to fully integrate his past as an engineer with dentistry, he needed to gain a complete comprehension of the various aspects of restorative dentistry and further his training to become a recognized specialist as a Prosthodontist. Through attending an additional 3-year residency program, he earned his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Chan has now been practicing dentistry for 15 years and has been a Prosthodontic specialist for the past 10 years. In addition to working in private practices, Dr. Chan served as an Assistant Professor for over a decade at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he had the honor of being recognized and receiving the Dean's Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching for his profound understanding and ability to teach and guide his students. He recently has been recognized by his colleagues and peers in Boston Magazines 2019 and 2020 Top Dentists and in Incisal Edge Magazines 2019 40 Under 40 - Americas Best Young Dentists. In his leisure time, Dr. Chan enjoys playing the acoustic and electric guitar, photography, and computer/technology building and repair. With his wife and two adorable rescue dogs, he enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
As a Periodontist and Implant Specialist, Dr. BiNa Oh treats patients whose supporting tissues of the teeth are affected by diseases or other conditions, those in need of tooth replacement through dental implant surgery, or situations when implants develop damaging conditions in their supporting structures. With over a decade of experience as a Periodontal specialist, Dr. Oh understands the destructive inflammatory processes that affects both bone and gum tissues surrounding teeth and implants, and how to integrate the treatment, management, and prevention of these issues with an overall comprehensive treatment that would be developed by CDMR's Prosthodontist, Dr. Chan. Working together as a team for over ten years, Dr. Oh and Dr. Chan treat some of the most complex situations involving a combination of Perio-Prosthodontics. With her background and training in studio arts, Dr. Oh is a uniquely skilled surgeon that combines her demonstrated expertise, creative eye, artistry, and artistic hand-skills to provide the best outcome possible.
Originally born in South Korea, Dr. BiNa Oh later settled in Massachusetts around 25 years ago, where she now calls home. After spending a few years learning English in Deerfield, MA, Dr. Oh attended Phillips Academy Andover and was then accepted into an accelerated 7-year B.A./D.M.D program at Tufts University that combined her Bachelors in Art History and Studio Art along with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine within a shorter span than is typical. Throughout the program, Dr. Oh received the Merit Scholarship, the Outstanding Preclinical Achievement in Operative Dentistry award, and the Association of Tufts Alumnae Senior Award for Ethics, Professionalism and Citizenship. Dr. Oh then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and earned her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontology through a 3-year residency training. By making a significant achievement beyond the mandatory educational requirements of her specialization, Dr. Oh has achieved the status of being a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology/Board-Certified Periodontist. To obtain this certification, Dr. Oh demonstrated exceptional in-depth knowledge and proficiency in the full scope of periodontology and dental implant surgery through completing extensive oral and written examinations conducted by the Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Oh currently resides in Boston and splits her time as a clinician in private practice and as an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and previously served as a periodontal consultant/supervisor at the Lutheran Medical Center's Advanced Education in General Dentistry programs. As a distinguished clinician and educator, she has published and lectured on various topics in Periodontology and in Implant Dentistry. Recently, she was honored to be a recipient of the Massachusetts Dental Society's 10 Under Ten Award, in recognition for her significant contributions to the profession, her community, and organized dentistry during her first ten years in practice. Dr. Oh has also recently been recognized by her colleagues and peers in Boston Magazines 2019 and 2020 Top Dentists and in Incisal Edge Magazines 2019 40 Under 40 - Americas Best Young Dentists.
When not practicing or teaching, Dr. Oh enjoys traveling and exploring new locations, cultures, and cuisines. She is an avid animal lover and has two adorable rescue dogs. Together with her husband, these two pups have been nurtured into health and now make occasional visits to Center for Dental Medicine & Reconstruction to brighten the day for all staff and patients. As a resident of Boston's South End, she enjoys the diverse cuisine, activities, and arts the town has to offer with her husband and two fur-babies. With her background in Art, she also loves to create new pieces of art when possible.

I was in search of a new dentist and dental surgeon when I discovered CDMR. Dr. Oh and Dr. Chan provide excellent care and are highly skilled dental surgeons and periodontists. They work together seamlessly as a team providing well-rounded excellent quality care for their patients. My recent dental surgery was so skillfully performed that I had little swelling and pain afterward - a truly amazing experience. I have further dental work that needs to be done and I feel truly fortunate to have found this highly competent practice. Maria runs the front office and is a delight to talk to!

I highly recommend CDMR. First, the office is remarkably clean and beautiful. Second, the front desk assistant is very nice and so warm welcoming. But most importantly: the doctors are amazing. I have had many negative experiences in the past, and I was extremely apprehensive of dental treatments. Both Dr Chen and Dr Oh are incredibly nice and patient with me, and I cannot say enough how skilled they are: I am not fearing dental treatments any more. They also always take the time to explain everything in details, and this is priceless. Thank you so much!

Dr. Oh and Dr. Chan are the nicest people, and if you're lucky you get to come in on a day that the 2 cuddliest, friendliest dogs are there too - Mochi and Yoshi. They gave an easy and informative consult, followed by a quality job on my procedure and extensive support in how to handle post op worries.

Both Dr. Oh and Dr. Chan are so knowledgeable, kind, caring are honest and I am so happy to have found their practice! They are so thorough, and you never feel rushed when you are in their office. They don't take just the fast and easy approach to get things done, but are very methodical and do things right the first time as opposed to having to re-fix it later. They explain everything carefully, provide great instructions and care package to take home as well after procedures. Their practice is incredibly modern, bright and has has high tech equipment. Maria does a great job in helping schedule appointments at a convenient time and bills insurance very quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this practice for anyone needing major work, or even routine cleanings!

I've had such a great experience with both Dr. Oh and Dr. Chan. They are incredibly thorough, spending so much time with you to carefully explain and make sure everything is done right the first time instead of trying to fix again later on. Maria is great at scheduling appointments at a convenient time and is great at helping with insurance claims. I highly recommend this practice for anyone needing major work, or even routine cleanings- I am so happy to have found them!

My husband and I and our two college-age daughters began seeing the doctors at CDMR after moving to Lincoln in late 2019, and we all agree that they are our favorite dentists ever! My family has a variety of issues (phobias, invisalign, periodontal issues, bridges, and more) and the doctors have successfully treated all of our issues. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. We highly recommend!

Dr. Chan and Dr. Oh are amazing dentists. Although I live 1 1/2 hours away, I do not hesitate to drive to Lincoln from Cape Cod to get their services. They are intuitive, genuine, thoughtful and caring. They do a wonderful job explaining exactly what is needed to be done and why. I am so happy to have found this dental office and would enthusiastically recommend them.

They're really wonderful here - clear communication both from desk staff and from the dentists themselves, a beautiful new & clean office, kind and knowledgeable team. You may a bit pay more than for some other practices my insurance covered about 60% of the consultation and radiographs - for me at least it was worth it.

I thought that doctors who are so concerned with their patients care that they take whatever time is needed, view it as their medical duty to consider the whole patient by conferring with the patient's other doctors if necessary, and deliver the best dental care I have ever had, were a thing of the distant past. Not so. Drs. Oh and Chan are all of that and more. I could not be more pleased, nor feel more fortunate to have found my way to their practice. Could not recommend them more highly.

My 86 year old spouse recently needed to have a tooth extracted which was not easy due to long, brittle curved roots. The doctors at CDMR who also teach at Tufts Medical School took extreme care, with patience, state of the art equipment , sensitivity to his needs, as well as keeping him and me understanding what was going on. I was able to stay in the room with them which made the procedure easier for my husband. It was a 2 hour procedure due to the tooth being so brittle. They also preserved the bone around the tooth. This is not a practice where the dentists leave the room to start another patient. They stay with you and follow up with you the following day, with surgical procedures. They take care to examine your mouth and jaw before recommending any treatment. An exceptional practice.

Highly recommend CDMR for anyone that needs a dentist. Before coming to CDMR, I had gone to 3 different dentists who recommended aggressive treatment plans or treatment that didn't make sense and with very little to no explanation. Going to the dentist isn't at the top of my list of favorite things to do, so to be honest, I kept putting it off. My fiancee pushed me to come here, and I'm so glad that I did. Dr. Oh and Dr. Chan explained everything to me and made sure that I understood before starting on any work. It was really clear that Dr. Oh and Dr. Chan actually cared. I feel comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish while there. Thanks for making the dental experience so great!

Superb team of doctors, impressive facility! Both Drs. Chan and Oh are extremely knowledgeable with kind and genuine bedside manners - a very tough combination to find in doctors in my opinion, especially with extensive credentials such as theirs (I did my research as most people would for any doctors or specialists). They made sure I was on the same page during my consultation and stayed comfortable throughout my emergency treatment. I have never felt so at ease with any of my doctors, let alone dentists! As if the doctors aren't wonderful enough, their clinic is absolutely stunning - beautifully decorated with modern equipment. I would recommend Center for Dental Medicine & Reconstruction to any one, any day!
