Dr. Sandhya Hegde (President/CEO): Dr Hegde has dual degrees in dentistry, from India and the US. She has been practicing in San Diego after graduating from acclaimed Loma Linda University in the year 2000. She also has been awarded a prestigious fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2009 and is committed to perpetual learning. A popular type of laser for dental cavity treatment is the erbium: yttrium-aluminum-garnett (Er:YAG). This technology removes tiny layers of tooth without discomfort or complications. I had chipped a few of my front teeth and they did a fantastic job fixing them. They look good as new and you cant even tell they were chipped!

My dentist Dr. Lana Bubalo was FANTASTIC. 100% cannot wait to be seen by her in the future. The full experience was comfortable, my wishes were respected, and I fully felt part of the treatment team. In addition, the dental assistant Chrissy was super helpful during my procedure and also knowledgeable about my questions.

I've been with them since 2000. Even after we moved from San Diego, to Escondido to Carlsbad, to Oceanside. The service is worth the drive, thumbs up for Dr Hedgee & staff. I've been gone since 2019 and returned yesterday 2022. They've stepped it up. It was better than ever, customer service & the Electronic devices.

Update: This office did an awful job (pain, slow healing, took too much of tooth off) filling 4 cavities on my left side that potentially never existed!! BEWARE. I went last week to a different dentist and got new Xrays, they said my right side looks fine and that there are no cavities, even though this dentist claimed that there are 3. The dentist before this one also told me no cavities. --- Had fillings done on the left side of my mouth, and even after 1 whole year I still get random toothaches at one of the molars. They dug through and took off way too much (about a third) of that tooth and came super close to the nerve, even though they said that that cavity is "mild". There wasn't any pain before that operation. I'm glad I refused to let them "treat" my right side until the left side fully heals. I'm not going to do that at all now. I brush my teeth 3 times a day now because the best way to fix teeth problems is to not have them in the first place!

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hegde and her team. I've been their patient since 2011 when I moved to San Diego from Europe. I was a real "case" when I walked into their office for the first time and they got me fixed up to SoCal standards in four years. They always worked with me to schedule the urgent things when they were needed and to plan the rest so as to make the best use of my insurance and FSA budget. I never had a dentist whom I trusted and appreciated more than Dr. Hegde. 2022 update - still a patient, still extremely happy. In fact, even more happy as my teeth are all fixed up and I didn't need to have any major work done in years. Both of my kids are patients here now as well :)

I've been going to Dr Hegde for over 10 years. I just had a cleaning with Savannah and she is excellent. She explained everything and I don't usually rave about cleanings. But she was great with my sensitive gums and mouth. Highly recommend her, the office and Dr Hegde.

I often experience anxiety when at the dentist, but Center for Dental Health did their best to ease it. My procedure was quick and painless - now I'm not worried about the last cavity I need filled! 10/10 recommend

I went here for the first time and was told I had 12 cavities and was also told/scared that my front teeth were going to fall out...!? I went and got a second opinion (after much more research than I did with this place) and was told everything looked fine and that 4 of my old fillings need to be redone, but there is no rush. Major red flag...!! Definitely do not recommend.

I have needed some extensive dental work done and Dr Hegde has taken the time to explain my treatments including the why and how behind everything she does. She is one of the most detail oriented people I have ever met, and I feel very safe in her hands. I also love her team, they are friendly and all around great people. I highly recommend Dr Hegde and team.

Best dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Hedge and her office care about their patients like no other. They only do what is needed and charge very reasonable prices, while being gentle and kind people. As someone who suffers from PTSD, this dentist has been a godsend. I get very anxious when in dentist offices, and they were very understanding and thoughtful to the way they approached their procedures. They made me feel as comfortable as they can, and I can say I'll be coming here for dental work for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!

I have been seeing Dr. Hegde for several years now and I've never been happier. It's hard to find a dentist as well as entire office that is kind, professional and still treats you like family, but they do. Dr. Hegde and her office always check on me and are diligent and make sure that I'm happy no matter what. I recommend her to all of my family and friends as my dental care is very important to me.

Dr. Hegde is the best dentist. I receive better care from her than any other dentist in my 30 years of dental care. She's very warm and caring and has a very delicate hand. She has a way of doing injections that makes it so that I have no idea what she is doing. I have been a patient of hers for almost 7 or 8 years. I recently took a family member who received such great care that she couldn't believe it. She told me that the whole office staff was the best ever. I agree! The location is classy and easy to access as well. Dr. H is famous as well. She travels all over to speak at conventions and she is a real force in forging the path of modern dentistry. She's an innovator and integrates current, up to date technology in to her practice whenever possible. A true gem!
