Dr. Courtney Schlenker Norwicki, DDS, MS, FICOIDr. Nowicki is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality of care in a patient oriented environment. She practices comprehensive dentistry for patients of all ages. Dr. Nowicki has received additional training (General Practice Residency -GPR) in oral surgery, periodontal surgery, implants, root canals and dental reconstruction and therefore can offer a wide range of treatment options to our patients that would, in many offices, be referred out. We do everything possible to make dental visits a pleasant and positive experience for our patients. We continually strive to earn the loyalty of our patients, and expect that we will see second and even third generations.
Dr. Nowicki is a native of Wapakoneta, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree (BS) in Biology from University of Toledo. She attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University graduating in the top 5% of her class.
She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Academic Honor Society (equivalent to Phi Beta Kappa in dentistry). Dr. Nowicki also completed the University of Floridas Advanced Education in General Dentistry program (GPR). She was trained in the DAWSON & L.D. Pankey restorative dental principles. Dr. Nowicki also received The International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award (2015), The Virginia Dental Association Mission of Mercy Award of Excellence (2015 Coordinator) and The Brown Award (2015).
She enjoys traveling, photography, running and any outdoor adventure to take advantage of the Florida sunshine, and most of all spending free time with her husband, Josh and new baby and her family and friends.
Our Dental Assistants work closely with our doctors, providing patient care and support. In addition to sterilization and setup, they prepare patients for procedures, making sure the patient is comfortable in the chair. Our Dental Assistants work chair side, assist with procedures, explain the treatment to the patient, and provide post-op information, too. They enjoy educating people about dental health and strive to make every visit painless and worry-free. If you ever need anything during a procedure, let them know!
Our Registered Dental Hygienists provide a range of preventive and maintenance oral hygiene care. They are gentle, thorough, and take time to educate each patient about their unique dental health, as well as nutrition, and establishing healthy home care routines.
Additionally, they perform all phases of interceptive initial periodontal therapy from root planning and curettage (deep cleaning) to application of site specific antibiotics while striving to get each patient to have optimal oral health. Additionally, they help educate our patients about the links of periodontal disease to heart attacks, strokes and diabetes.

Knowledgeable receptionist, able to make appointments quickly & figure out our insurance easily. Dr. Nowicki was informative and gentle. My cleaning was fantastic and my teeth feel great!!!! They made finding a dentist in the East Lake area easy. Thank you!

Best dentist office in town! The front office staff are warm and welcoming. The hygienist are compassionate and caring, making sure my comfort was of utmost importance. Dr. Christ and Dr. Nowicki are very personable and took their time to inform me and answer all the questions I had in regards to the procedure. Hands down, best dentist office in the Tarpon Springs area!

Dr. Nowicki is quite possibly the best dental office I've ever had the pleasure of going to. My first appointment was just an exam so that the doctor could provide a thorough evaluation of my teeth and go over any concerns. They took an x-ray from every possible angle and spent almost an hour examining my mouth. I was totally impressed by the level of detail they took just to simply do an exam!!! My cleaning went smoothly and then a small procedure I had to have done went off without a hitch. Everyone is very professional and kind. Carol, who schedules and deals with financing, could not be nicer. She emails, texts AND returns phone calls....shocking, I know!!! A breath of fresh air to have a company put customer service and and their patients comfort first.

This is the best dental office I have ever been to in my life. Very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very professional. They explained everything they were going to do along the way and explained again before I left. I highly recommend going here. The staff is amazing!!!

Wow! I went to my first exam and cleaning this week, and I am so glad I am a new client at the Center for Dental Excellence East Lake. I was happy with my previous dentist, but recently relocated and needed to find a new practice to visit. I had a reasonable amount of anxiety heading into the appointment, but all of that melted away as soon as I met the team at the office! Dr. Nowicki was so personable - I was so surprised with the thoroughness of my initial exam, from xrays to photographs - I feel like they truly got so many details (including asking me about any concerns I had, etc.). My cleaning went smoothly, and I appreciated some suggestions/advice I received as well! My teeth stain relatively easily, and I didn't realize that using an electric toothbrush would be better than the manual one I'm currently using, so that is now on my to-do list for things to add to my teeth cleaning arsenal! Highly recommend this dental practice - I'll be sending my husband there next! - Katie Olsen

Just had my New Patient Appt on Thursday, July 14th and I am happy to say I found my new dental practice with Center for Dental Excellence! With previous dental practices, I've had less than satisfactory experiences, which have left me hesitant to attend regular visits. Pushy salesman approaches to upsell unneccesary dental services, while not being understanding of my budget was my biggest turn off. My visit with Dr. Nowicki, Jessica, and Lisa was wonderful! Everyone was very patient, listening to my concerns with dental services of the past and answered my many questions. Everyone was confident and knowledgeable. Jessica was very friendly and welcoming and made the xray and photo process seamless and quick! Dr. Nowicki made me feel at ease immediately by being patient and present while I explained past experiences, current concerns, and asked questions about proposed options for the future. Lisa, the dental hygienist, was friendly and also patient and provided useful information on best ways to keep my teeth/gums healthy. I never felt pressured or like I was being upsold a service that was not needed. Everyone at the the front desk/scheduling was friendly, efficient, caring and helpful. I highly recommend setting up an appointment with them if you had been hesitant, like me, due to past experiences. You will be a valued patient and cared for as such. Dr. Christ is one of the few dentists that I have seen that seems to thoughtfully care about every aspect of his patients dental health. Even though my dental plan did not go accordingly (nothing to do with Dr. Christs services) he remained committed to finding solutions and getting me in last minute to take care of my needs several times. I highly recommend him and his office.

I have never had such a thorough dental exam in all my life. Dr. Nowicki, Jessica, the dental assistant and Susan, the hygienist were all very professional, caring and knowledgeable. I knew I was in good hands right from the start. I was so impressed with the entire experience and would highly recommend Dr. Nowicki and all her staff. I am new to the area and so happy I chose Center for Dental Excellence! The name says it all.

This is a great dentist office! It was very difficult to find a good dentist since I'm new to Florida. Staff is very professional, friendly and caring, they also give a lot of good advice each time I visit.
