Dentistry is such an exciting career; combining art, mechanics, medicine, and technology all while meeting new people! I absolutely love patient care and treasure the relationships I form with my patients. My goal is to always provide high-quality dental care, make my patients as comfortable as possible, and helpthem understand every aspect of their treatment.

Going to the dentist is not something I enjoy. That said I like and trust my hygienist (Karen) to always give me her best advice. Today I had a long conversation with Dr. Tenney about options to replace a broken crown. Dr. Tenney explained all the options in great detail with pictures of the various options and never tried to push me into one option over another. Would I recommend her, Absolutely! Since my last visit over a year ago I can honestly say that the office atmosphere and entire staff has greatly improved.

I had a very positive experience on my first visit: I was welcomed by staff. Check-in was efficient. I waited less than 3 minutes to be seen. All processes were communicated well and results were transparent. My hygienist talked me through her work making me feel comfortable, informed, and cared for. The Doctor was very pleasant and thorough yet concise in her work. I'm impressed and looking for are to another visit. Thank you ladies.

Breton Bay is a very professional organization. I didn't have to wait very long at all, once I got there. Reminder: bring your own mask (if you prefer that kind of thing). You need to wear a mask. The hygienists and the technicians were very polite and very knowledgeable. They definitely helped me be relaxed. The team worked to help me understand my dental situation and even offered to email me documents to make it clearer to me what we needed to do. I highly recommend them for your dental needs / as your dental group.

Dr. Tenney took a lot of time to discuss my case and help me select my options based on my individual needs. I felt we had great communication and the staff was helpful and friendly as well. I would highly recommend this office.

I have been a patient here for five years. Generally, the service by Dr. Gabrielle Ramellini has been good. She seems to care about here patients and has not over-prescribed or under-prescribed. I moved to DC, but kept going back because the dentist I visited in DC wanted $1000 to replace a perfectly good filling. Unfortunately, the service during my last visit, was VERY POOR. Before beginning the procedure the front office showed me a total amount due of about $600. Three months later I received a bill for $1950. That's 3X more! I have politely contacted them about this several times and they simply point the finger back at insurance. The truth is, it's not insurance's fault since I was very clear in letting them know that my insurance only covers preventative work. They assured me the cost was only going to be about $600 and even circled it saying that they had been in contact with my insurance company. This kind of behavior is entirely UNETHICAL and it is very disappointing. They deal with insurance companies day in and day out. When they told me it was going to be $600 I trusted them. Do not trust them! Don't make the same mistake as me. BE VERY CAREFUL when they say that your insurance is going to cover X-amount of work. Most dental offices will work with you insurance company and provide accurate estimates ahead of time. That's not the case here. Expect they will provide an artificially-low estimate in the hopes of getting your business. My insurance is Aetna... not a cut-rate insurance company.
