Dr. Aalam is the first periodontist in the US to have trained in and performedadvanced platelet-rich fibrin. Utilizing the patients own blood, this therapy can enhancehard and soft tissue grafting procedures. Not only does the treatment reduce healing times, but it also decreases pain and swelling and improves overall patient experience.

Dr. Aalam became a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France, in 2000 and enjoys fluency in both English and French. He then went on to complete his certificate in Advanced Periodontology and Implantology at the prestigiousUniversity of Southern Californiain 2003.
After completing his advanced periodontal certificate, Dr. Aalam stayed on at the USC School of Dentistry as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Advanced Periodontics, where he has spent the last decade training and giving back to future periodontists. Dr. Aalam has recently been appointed to serve on the Board of Governors for the USC Alumni Association as the Representative for the USC School of Dentistry.
Today, Dr. Aalam is one of only two dual Board Certified Periodontists in Brentwood, the other being Dr. Alina Krivitsky. He is also the only Diplomate of theAmerican Board of Oral Implantologyin the Brentwood area. Dr. Aalam is a member of theAmerican Dental Associationand theAmerican Academy of Periodontology. He is also a committee member of theIranian American Dental Association.As an active member of AO (Academy of Osseointegration), this dental practice offers advanced specialized knowledge about the science and clinical applications of implant dentistry.

Between 2000 and 2008, Dr. Alina Krivitsky received her Bachelor of Science degree, Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and finally her Advanced Periodontics Certificate, all at the prestigiousUniversity of Southern California.
Desiring to give back to her alma mater and help future periodontists, Dr. Krivitsky spends a significant time as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the USC School of Dentistry, Department of Advanced Periodontics, as a lecturer for the Dental Hygiene program, and as a committee member for Friends of Dentistry, Los Angeles Dental Society Board of Directors and Peer Review.

Dr. Alina Krivitsky is a two dual Board Certified Diplomate, in the Brentwood area, along with Dr. Aalam. They are very friendly and accommodating. Their Doctors are considered the Rolls-Royce of dentistry. You can't get a $399. Dental Implant here. You'll need a bit more.

I recently had a gum grafting operation done by Dr. Alina Krivitsky at the Center for Advanced Periodontal & Implant Therapy. I remember back when I was a teenager I had seen some photos of people who had severe gum recession, and I had thought to myself how horrible that must be. Today as an adult, and before getting help from Dr. Krivitsky, my gums looked just as bad as those pictures I had seen as a teenager. The fact that my gums had receded to such an extent made me extremely worried. After having a good look at my gums, my dentist recommended the Center. I knew that I would be in good hands with Dr. Krivitsky after my very first visit. The entire staff at the front desk was extremely kind and professional. Not only is Dr. Krivitsky at the top of her field, but I got the feeling that she genuinely cares about her patients and their health. My gums were in such bad shape that Dr. Krivitsky had to do two separate gum-grafting operations on all of my lower canines and incisors. I cannot believe just how good my gums look after those two surgeries and all of Dr. Krivitsky's talent and hard work. I truly feel like Dr. Krivitsky has given me a new lease on life. I cannot rave enough about my experience. Dr. Krivitsky's oral assistants made me feel very safe and comfortable, and Dr. Krivitsky herself is an extremely talented, dedicated, and caring periodontist. I would say that she is a perfectionist in the best sense of the word. I would absolutely like recommend Dr. Alina Krivitsky and the Center for Advanced Periodontal & Implant Therapy to anyone who is in need of oral help. Thank you Dr. Krivitsky for taking such good care of me.

I highly recommend Dr. Krivitsky and her staff. They are professional, responsive and compassionate. I had a 4 hour procedure (platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) oral surgery) for receding gums and I felt safe and comfortable in their hands. Dr. Krivitsky is readily available for questions and takes the time to explain everything. I feel like my gums have a new lease on life!

I've had the most amazing experience anyone might only wish for while having their teeth cleaned. I've used services of Dr Aalam and Dr Kravitsky a few times before and couldn't be any happier. My hygienist Ava was very professional, listened to my needs and was so caring I felt like giving her a hug after she was done. Hands down the best dental office I have been to!!! I was referred to Dr. Aalam's dental office by a good friend due to an unexpected minor dental emergency. Dr. Aalam took the time to speak with me, go over my options, answer my questions, and ease my concerns. I was in a lot of pain and his kind nature truly made me feel better. I really appreciated Dr. Aalam's professional manner, he also took the time to follow up with me after the procedure and in the days following. I would also like to add that the entire staff were very professional, kind and welcoming. This will definitely be my dentist from here on out. Thank you!

You will not find a better dentist than Dr. Krivitsky. It's rare to find people who are kind and good at their jobs. She is definitely both. Everyone from the front desk to the hygienists Ava and Madison provides excellent service. I can't say enough about this place.

My experience going through gum restoration by graft and PRP injections for all my teeth was A+. Dr. Krivitsky throughout the process was professional and compassionate. Any time I had a question she was available by phone or text. I had significant gum recession that now are as good as new. Ava, Dr. K's hygienist, also does a really good and thorough cleaning. If you need gum surgery I recommend Dr. Krivitsky without reservation.

Dr. Krivitsky you are amazing! I had a peridontal procedure done on my upper gums before covid and here I am again to complete my lower gums. Nothing changed, Dr. Krivitsky is still the same ... passionate, kind and knowledgeable!!! I have complete trust and faith in her! By the way, I flew all the way from Hawaii to do this! I, without a doubt would do it again and again! She's such a wonderful doctor! She'a the doctor to go to!!! Thank you Dr. Krivitsky you save my teeth! Forever grateful

I had a wonderful experience here. I had an implant get infected and the perio at the dentist office wanted to do pull down the gum flap and perform a debriding. It was cleared by insurance and would cost me a $30 copay or something out of pocket. I sought a second opinion at Dr. Alam's office. Their opinion, after looking at the imaging as well as the affected area, was that it looked bad and they suggested to pull down the gum flap and look at the damage. They could not know at that point what the best course of action would be until they examined the actual affected area under the gums. At that point, they would exercise their judgment and decide whether it was worth attempting to debride and let heal, or if an extraction of the implant was necessary (and we would have to start over with a new implant). Because I would be mildly sedated they asked me to allow them to exersice their best judgment and take the course of action that was appropriate at that time. I agreed. It ended up needing to be extracted (they took photos and showed me; the area was very infected. It wasn't even a close call.) I got a new implant. The point is that at the first perio, they would have simply debrided because insurance had already authorized the payment. It would have failed and then I would have had to do the whole thing again. Dr. Alam's office is not hindered by these considerations. TL;DR: Worth it if you can afford it.

Since The Moment I Met Dr. Aalam For A Consultation To The Day Of My Procedure He Has Always Heard Me Out And Answered All My Questions With Such Positivity And Kindness I Recommend 100%. I Felt Insecure With My Smile Prior To the Procedure Due To My Gum Recession Now That I've Gotten My Procedure Completed And It's Been A Couple Of Months Since I Feel Very Confident. It's Like I Never Had Anything Done It Healed So Nicely And I Barely Felt Anything And The Girls In The Front Desk Were Very Helpful Along With Doctor Aalam Whenever I Felt In Doubt When In Recovery And Still Till This Day.

Me and my husband got our cleaning done today by Ava. It was an amazing experience. Ava is the best! She so detailed and and excellent hygienist. I usually go to my friend that is a hygienist but since she has moved and had been unable to go. Ava is the best replacement. I was so hesitant but she made our decision really easy. We will keep coming to her. Dr. Aalam and Dr. Krivitsky are professional and experienced. I highly recommend this office for your cleaning or any periodontal needs. Always ask for Ava if you need a dental cleaning.

I really enjoy working with Dr. Aalam! I've found many times that there can be not a lot of personal care when you're dealing with a problematic tooth and Dr. Aalam is exactly the opposite. I felt that he really personally cared about my case and I saw him as a partner as we worked through the steps for my best oral health! Very grateful to Dr. Aalam and his entire team! The team is incredible!

I was referred by a friend to see Dr Aalam for an implant that I was afraid to get. I had put it off for over a year. The whole idea of getting an implant was very frightening. Dr. Aalam was everything my friend told me he would be. He explained the process and procedure in detail. Dr. Aalam took time to answer all my questions without me feeling that he had to rush off to see another patient. He made me feel comfortable and safe. Dr. Aalam is diligent and a perfectionist which is what you want when it comes to your teeth. My procedure was successful without any pain. He called me the next day to see if I was okay. Whenever I come into the office, he greets me with a hello and a big smile. His office staff are super courteous, friendly, and very responsive to my requests. My positive experiences with Dr. Aalam and his staff are rebuilding my confidence with doctors in the dental industry. I highly recommend Dr. Aalam!! Thank you Dr. Aalam!!
