Ushma Patel, DMD, received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. Dr. Ushma Patel is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Hinman Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Institute for Dental Implant Awareness.
Dr. Ushma Patel attends extensive continuing education seminars, workshops, and lectures. Her accomplishments include certification with the renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), Six Month Smiles, and Oral Conscious Sedation. She has taught dental assisting at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, and a local community college. This commitment to excellence allows her to utilize the newest techniques and materials available in modern dentistry to maintain the highest quality of care for her patients. Recognized by colleagues as an expert in restorative implant dentistry, Dr. Patel lectures to various dental groups and teaches comprehensive education programs in restorative implant dentistry.
Dr. Ushma Patel delights in treating people of all ages and provides dental care for the underprivileged. As part of her commitment to the community, she has participated in various charitable events that benefit her local community. In addition, each year her and her team volunteer their time and services to families that are in need of dental care. Dr. Patel and her husband are also very active in the local Johns Creek Healthcare Association.
She has earned a reputation as a warm and caring person by getting to know her patients and their likes and dislikes. Dr. Ushma Patel and her husband have two wonderful boys and are officially empty nesters. In her spare time, she enjoys lecturing to dentists and sharing her knowledge on how to comprehensively take care of patients. She enjoys traveling, cooking and spendingtime with her family and friends.
