Dr. Howard is especially dedicated to caring for people with dental phobias and providing complex implant surgery and restorations. He has been a leader in new technology including being one of the first dental surgeons in Colorado to offer guided 3D surgery and Teeth In A Day. A highly skilled expert, Dr. Howard has been providing IV sedation and advanced surgical procedures in Northern Colorado at the highest level for over 30 years.
As an instructor, heteaches implant dentistry to other dentists across the country. He is also very involved in cosmetics and Digital Smile Design. He founded the Center for Advanced Dentistry to provide one doctor and one location philosophy of care that allows patients to receive the highest level of care in the most efficient and cost-effective manner that respects patient concerns and priorities.
Since completing his dental degree and residency, Dr. Howard completes over 200 hours of advanced continuing education each year constantly seeking to expand his knowledge and the procedures he offers patients. He stays on the forefront of the latest surgical and restorative techniques, studying with some of the most influential leaders in implant and cosmetic dentistry.

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Howard and his family have resided in Loveland for over 32 years. His wife, Pam, is passionately involved with local public schools, including serving for two terms on the Thompson School District Board of Education as Vice President. She is also dedicated to volunteering with local non-profit organizations.
The couple has three daughters: a pediatric physician, and two still in college. The family can often be found enjoying many outdoor recreational opportunities throughout the state. In addition to rock climbing and soccer, Dr. Howard enjoys running ultra- marathons in the mountains.
Each member is enthusiastic and dedicated to providing state-of-the-art dental care, tailored to the individuals needs and desires. They get to know our patients, personally, and do everything they can to make each patients experiences comfortable, convenient, and pain-free.
Stefanie loves seeing how a smile transformation can improve a patients life and self-confidence. Shes been with our practice since 2006, has dental assisting certification, and has completed multiple courses on dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.
From start to finish, Stefanie is at the side of our dental implant patients. She presents treatment options and helps a patient determine what financial options work for them. She then assists Dr. Howard with the surgical procedure and provides follow-up care.
Stefanie and her husband, Jared, have two dogs they consider their children. The family enjoys boating at Horsetooth Reservoir, as well as playing softball, kickball, and other outdoor activities. Winter finds them traveling to escape the cold.
Working in the clinic, Sara assists Dr. Howard, chairside, with different procedures, always attentive to their patients comfort. She also takes X-rays, handles lab work, and provides direct patient care.
Saras favorite hobbies, when shes not at the office, including hiking and being outdoors, origami, drawing, crafts, and running 5 and 10K races. She also loves attending Colorado Eagles hockey games and treasures time with Chong, her sweet chinchilla.
Kate enjoys helping patients solve problems and strives to make each persons visitexceptional. A certified Surgical Technician, she joined our office in 2015, bringing with her many years of experience.
Kaitlyn enjoys getting to know our patients personally and ensuring each visit is great. She has been with us since 2018, starting part-time while completing a business degree from FRCC, and now full-time.
Aundrea enjoys establishing a trusting relationship with patients and celebrates when people take ownership of their dental health. She joined our practice in 2015, having started in the field in 2001, and has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Each year she completes many hours of continuing education to stay current on the latest advances in dental hygiene and dentistry.
Working with her patients, Aundrea reviews their medical and dental histories and performs gentle dental cleanings, periodontal cleanings, and periodontal treatments. During visits, she offers dental health and oral hygiene education, as well as nutritional counseling.
Katie loves when she and a patient work as a team to achieve and maintain the healthiest oral condition possible. She joined our practice in 2018, holds an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, and started in the dental field in 2011.
Working with her patients, Katie assesses their oral health and then educates them on how to best care for their teeth and gums. She prevents and treats gum disease through debridement (cleaning) of the teeth and root surfaces, too. During visits, she encourages patients to make positive changes in their dental hygiene practices in order to improve the health of their smiles.
