We are a specialist orthodontic practice that provides customized, comprehensive orthodontic treatment to patients of all ages, located on South Street in downtown Philadelphia. We are a forward thinking office, with the latest in clinical techniques and a warm and friendly team of professionally trained staff.
After a childhood exposed to various cultures and countries, he brought his international flair to Philadelphia, where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors.
After several years of practicing as a restorative dentist, his passion for continued learning and interest in orthodontics led him back to the University of Pennsylvania to do his post-doctoral training in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. He has been dedicated to creating beautiful smiles ever since.
In starting Center City Orthodontics, his vision was to have a comprehensive, patient centered orthodontic practice in Philadelphia, with the primary objectives of clinical excellence and patient experience
During a summer internship with a New York State senator, she spent time working with constituents at a local dental clinic and it was here that she was first inspired to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Finn earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently completed her post-doctoral training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Finn sees orthodontics as unique among other dental specialties in that patients play an active role in helping to achieve their desired treatment outcomes. Whether its compliance with orthodontic elastics or keeping up diligent retainer wear, patients play an integral role in the orthodontic team.

Dr Thomas and his crew went beyond expectations of a good orthodontist. They thoughtfully explained everything they were doing, step by step. My daughter and I could understand what they were doing and why. Don't hesitate -your $ will be well spent!

Such an amazing experience! Dr. Thomas & Dr. Finn were so professional. They made sure I was completely satisfied with my results. The entire office staff in Philly & Cherry Hill were amazing as well! I would highly recommend Center City Orthodontics!

Before coming into center city orthodontics I had an open and under bite. I worked with Dr. Thomas and his referred surgeon to correct it. The staff is so friendly and professional I'm kind of sad I won't be seeing them anymore haha. Super clean space and location is convenient to public transit and street parking also. Scheduling that first free consult with these folks was one of the best decisions I've made and such a gift I was able to give myself. These people can help you feel less insecure about your smile :)

One word best describes my interaction with Dr. Tejjy Thomas and his staff: "Incredible." I recently relocated to Philadelphia, and one of the difficulties of moving is finding new connections for all necessary primary care physicians. Finding a reputable orthodontist had been on my mind for several months. With permanent retainers, I was aware that I might experience an emergency at any time, necessitating an immediate need for treatment and advice. And indeed, that is what took place. My permanent retainers needed to be checked, so I had to obtain an urgent appointment, which led me to Dr. Thomas's office. And wow, am I happy! First of all, Center City Orthodontics has a stunning office with a staff that is incredibly kind and friendly. The driving element behind the entire extraordinary experience was Dr. Thomas, who was simply outstanding. Unlike other doctors I've known, he doesn't try to rush you. He took the time to get to know me and my issues in order to establish a friendly doctor-patient connection. He not only resolved my problem but also spent time explaining why it occurred in the first place and how to prevent it from happening again. To put it briefly, I was very pleased with the service I received and felt happy to have found one key person to contact for all of my future dental needs. Highly Recommended!!

This review is LONG overdue, but I had to write it because Dr. Thomas and his team were that amazing. Best patient experience I've ever had! Dr. Thomas and his team did an amazing job with my Invisalign, but what I appreciate more than that is how much they went above and beyond to provide the best care possible. The team genuinely cares about their patients and it shows. When I started my treatment, the estimate for how long it would take was a year Unfortunately I faced a lot of unexpected complications with my teeth and it ended up being much longer than a year, but Dr. Thomas and his team were not phased by this and continued my treatment on the same plan they had originally come up with. I ended up moving back to NYC in the middle of this treatment, and the team at CCO went above and beyond to make sure I had extra time around my appointments for traveling in and out of Philly, and even prioritized me on several Saturday appointments. Even after the treatment ended, Dr. Thomas and his team set up several follow ups to check in, both virtually and in person. I couldn't thank the team more! Always will owe them a huge debt of gratitude. You guys are the best!

Center City Ortho is the best. I've absolutely enjoyed my experience with them. They've made my Invisalign journey a very good experience. The staff is always so polite, helpful and nice to talk to. I'm happy I came here. I will always recommend people to come here for treatment. You'll leave and love your smile just as much as I do now.

I'm having my teeth fixed years after an upper-body fall that misaligned my teeth. When I learned of Invisalign and CC Orthodontics from my dentist I scheduled an appointment for an evaluation. The evaluation was informative, they worked with my insurance, & I've been improving since. I have unqualified respect for the staff I've depended upon. Dr Thomas is the epitome of a skilled, honest, informative, courteous, & responsible professional. His name is on the door, which in this case means everything. He not only makes things hum with steady progress but comes immediately in case of a glitch. As I was approaching the last weeks of my 2nd to last series the 14th aligner of 16 caused changes in my teeth that seemed off. He examined my alignment, interrupted the series, and took new scans to send to Invisalign, sending them a request for a quick response. He also had a clear remedy for in the meantime - the 13th aligner. I gladly include in exceptional professionals technicians Emily & Ruben & with great respect receptionist Niesha. She, like the others, is informative and a skillful facilitator, giving patients access & assistance sought. Like the others she's also interesting & delightful. I feel calm & safe, meaning that I have an easy time at asking & explaining my questions. Clarifications & help are thoughtful & respectful. All enjoy autonomy, again to Dr Thomas' credit, & are generous indeed. This work is proving to be an invaluable medical gift.

The team at center city orthodontics is simply put, amazing. From the moment you first walk through the door you're welcomed by smiling faces and a bright office space, lead into a consultation with one of the doctors *all exceptional* where you talk out your plan and the road to a brighter smile. Once my treatment started there were high levels of communication so I always knew where we were and whatever next steps we needed to take, this being very comforting when you're going through such a life changing event. The team members are funny and playful while still being professional and getting their work done. My overall experience was great and I wish they offered dental service so I'd never have to leave lol!! Also great music playlist 10/10. THANK YOU CCO! <3

Dr Thomas and his team are not only the best Orthodontic Office I've ever visited, they are some of the most friendly, knowledgeable people I've ever met also. Every step of the process with them was a breeze from consultations, to my major jaw surgery, to braces, and eventually Invisalign. They made this usually agonizing process a million times better with easy scheduling and incredibly considerate care. The best part is that they charged one flat fee no matter how many visits I needed or what complications arose! I would highly recommend to anyone!

WOW. Dr Thomas and his amazing team are the reason why I trust this place with everything! From the first minute of consultation to the last appt I had for my Invisalign the past two years, Dr Thomas has treated me like family. His attention to detail from remembering your kids to your profession and dental history is incredible. The staff he hires and works with also have his same kindness and professionalism. If you are looking for a super clean office, extremely COVID conscious environment and ease of scheduling, this hits all of the requirements and more! Good street parking and they are very tech savvy with appointment scheduling, X-rays and high end equipment. Thank you Dr Thomas for everything!!

I recently went through the underbite correction process (braces + surgery) with Dr. Thomas. As a 26 year old mail, i was pretty hesitant about getting braces. I'd had consults with other orthodontist, but when I met Dr. Thomas I knew that he was the one I wanted to this with. He and his staff are some of the friendliest and warmest people you will meet. I felt completely taken care of at every turn. And then there's the actual result, which I love. My new bite is perfect and I'm so happy I went through with it. If I had to do this all over again, I'd choose Center a city Orthodontics every single time.
