Kyle J. Losin, DMD, MSD, is a board-certified periodontist specializing in surgical and non-surgical treatments of periodontal disease. He graduated from the University of Florida (UF) with high honors and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Losin also obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UF. After dental school he completed a three-year surgical residency in periodontics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Losin maintains active membership in multiple professional societies. He has additional qualifications in Laser Assisted New Attachment Protocol (LANAP), botox for both TMJ management and aesthetics, and IV/oral sedation surgery. He continues to seek out cutting edge training in laser assisted surgery, nonoperative interventional periodontics, and periodontal maintenance treatments. Dr. Losin has authored and co-authored several published peer-reviewed scientific papers. He has also presented his research at multiple national conferences.
Dr. Losin is considered a leader and innovator in the treatment of extensive periodontic disease. He treats patients with complex problemsfrom dental implants to advanced gum disease and everything in between. He enjoys the challenging and complex cases that allow him to utilize his extensive training and research. He believes in not only the clinical treatment of implants and periodontics, but also the development of patient-provider relationships. He feels that it is important for patients to be involved in the decision-making process of their treatment to ensure successful outcomes. Dr. Losin and his team are dedicated to educating patients and their families on various treatment options before surgery. He is passionate about minimizing postoperative pain and actively working with patients on achieving the quickest and most comfortable recovery possible.
Outside of work, Dr. Losin enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their friends and family. Youll also find him cheering on the Florida Gators and Buffalo Bills, as well as participating in a variety of outdoor activities and sports, including fly fishing, skiing, boating, and golfing.
Tammy was born in the small town of Holcomb, Kansas. She moved to Colorado in 1998 and began her career in dentistry that same year. Tammy is the Office Manager and has a unique passion for helping everyone around the office and patients. Outside of work, Tammy spends her time outdoors and with her family. Tammy has two daughters; her oldest is in college studying criminal justice, while her youngest is about to graduate high school.
Charon, a native of Colorado, attended Dental Assisting Training School to begin her education in the dental field. After finishing her education, she entered the field of periodontology. Charon has been a surgical assistant for over 20 years. She partners with Dr. Losin on treatment planning and makes sure that every patient has their wants and needs satisfied. Charon writes, When I am away from work, I enjoy spending time with my two children. My daughter has worked very hard in order to work in the field of radiology. While my son recently graduated high school and has an internship with an automotive training institute.
