A native of Webster, NY, Dr. Calascibetta (known by many of his patients as Dr. C) is humbled to practice dentistry in Henrietta. He graduated from the University of Rochester in 2012 with a degree in Cell and Developmental Biology, then graduated in 2016 from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
He completed his post-graduate residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in 2017. His educational endeavors are ongoing; since finishing his residency, Dr. Calascibetta has completed over 250 hours of continuing education. New York dentists are required to complete only 20 hours annually.
Dr. Calascibetta partook in multiple outreach opportunities during dental school to treat patients in impoverished areas. At Eastman Dental, he worked with dentists and specialists from all over the globe, exposing him to new techniques and treatment options for his patients. A firm believer in giving back to his profession, he welcomes the opportunity to mentor pre-dental and dental students, as well as hygienists and dental assistants.
At the cornerstone of his treatment philosophy is the ideal of being a Man for Others, a phrase instilled into him as a student at McQuaid Jesuit High School. Above all else, Dr. Calascibetta selflessly serves his patients, and he and his team are dedicated to compassionate care and informing patients of the why behind any treatment performed.
Celestial Dental is the culmination of his two biggest passions that of dentistry and his childhood passion, the night sky. In this uniquely designed practice, he and his team hope that you will feel comfortable and heard, and that you can appreciate the wonders of the cosmos as he does.
She and Dr. C continually review the practice's operations and look for ways to improve the patient and staff experience. Her involvement in the practice workflow allows Dr. C to focus on what he does best - taking care of our patients.
The liaison between the clinical and administrative staff, Kay has had years of experience in both dental assisting and managerial duties in the dental office. She oversees every lab case, implant procedure, denture she is the glue that holds the team together. Originally a position that Dr. C handled himself, he was blessed to have someone as accomplished as Kay to keep treatment organized at Celestial Dental.
Though treatment coordination is her main title, Kay also works closely with Rosanna in reception and Tanya in insurance verification. She will even assist Dr. C if he needs help during a procedure. Truly, she is the most well-rounded team member that we have.
She works diligently to ensure our schedule flows appropriately and can fit a patient in pain at a moment's notice. Her experience in customer service allows her to authentically connect with our patients, especially with those in pain.
Rivaling Dr. C's level of intensity and passion for the profession, Lauren tackles the most involved hygiene cases at our office. She and Dr. C are developing protocols for patients who haven't been to the dentist in years, and are looking to get their mouths back on track.
In addition to full-time hygiene at Celestial Dental, Lauren is an adjunct professor at Monroe Community College's Dental Hygiene Program, teaching first-year students radiography. Her passion for teaching has made her a terrific mentor to Marissa and Lea. She is also working on her Masters in Adult Learning at Empire State College.
Marissa's core purpose is to educate our patients on their oral health. She and Dr. C work closely together by reviewing each patient's needs prior to their exam. Passionate about her profession, she is continually studying from Dr. C's notes when he was a dental student.
Marissa's flexibility (she has also been trained as a dental assistant) enables her to ensure all patients' needs are being met, either by dental cleanings or by root canals. Her bubbly personality is welcomed by patients no matter the treatment. She loves nothing more than her puppy Gizmo!
As she assists in a progressive office, Lea is also being trained on the most advanced equipment in the industry. She takes impressions digitally, plans surgical guides digitally, and designs crowns digitally. Ultimately, she and Dr. C will be able to create brand new smiles digitally and make them a reality for patients who have been yearning to smile for years.
With exposure to distressed patients, she has a unique skillset that fits perfectly with the volume of same-day emergencies we manage. Heather has the 'gift of gab' and always knows how to distract patients during procedures. As our longest-standing assistant, Heather is also responsible at ensuring all of our equipment is being maintained and running optimally.
A recent graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Isabel is another asset in the office when it comes to making sure all goes well. She is trained on a variety of procedures. She has done so many root canals with Dr. C, he has made claims that she can do them herself
After exploring her options in healthcare, Isabel has decided on furthering her education. Currently, she is obtaining her Masters of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Pittsburgh. She continues to assist us full time in addition to school.
A ray of sunshine in our office, Hannah's positive attitude can make even the most nervous of patients at ease. Her beaming personality and selflessness are key assets in what makes a visit at Celestial Dental so special.
Currently applying for dental school, she is now enrolled in the Master's of Oral Health program at Boston University. Dr. C has mentored her in our Pioneer Program to prepare her for the challenges ahead. Her inquisitive nature and independence is a reminder to patients that they are being treated alongside a future doctor.
Her giving nature is what makes her a natural in the volunteering positions that she holds. With aspirations of becoming a pediatric dentist, you can be sure shell be the first assistant there to make a childs visit at the dentist fun.
Dave is currently in his second year of dental school at Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. He finished our Pioneer Program and has had opportunities with us that many of his colleagues were not fortunate enough to have had exposure.
This is a pre-dental student program we offer to college students. They learn directly from Dr. C about all facets of dentistry, including clinical and business. NASAs Pioneer programs were a series of lunar and planetary space missions. Two of the Pioneer probes were the first to explore interstellar space. In the same way, pre-dental students at Celestial Dental are pioneers of their peers, being the first to have exposure to dentistry at a very hands-on level.
Our CBCT 3D X-ray technology gives Dr. C a more detailed view of your mouths current conditions, so he can detect and diagnose problems before they worsen. It also collects a lot more data than the traditional 2D X-rays!
Our laughing gas tanks in conjunction with our vitals monitoring equipment used in hospitals allow us to perform dentistry on anxious patients who would otherwise avoid treatment at all. Our staff is trained on this equipment to ensure you have a great experience while sedated.
The Primescan lets us process more than 1,000,000 3D points per second. This produces photorealistic and highly accurate data of your mouth! In most cases, it makes traditional impressions obsolete and allows for a more comfortable patient experience.
The MouthWatch intraoral camera allows us to educate our patients on any issues their teeth may have. Dr. C cannot practice without it. It is vital in the level of transparency he provides to his patients.
The SpeedFire Oven assists us with strengthening your crown or bridge after it has been milled in-house. Reaching temperatures just shy of 3,000F, our crowns come out looking like little pearls but are tough as diamonds.
SICAT treatment planning software allows us to better understand how to properly perform implant surgeries, root canal treatments, and sleep apnea management. As a result, treatment success is far more predictable.
The Zolar diode laser allows us to manipulate gum tissue in a precise manner. We are able to remove canker sores, enhance the appearance of teeth, and make fillings more predictable, among many other uses.
We were the FIRST dental office in Monroe County to implement Surgically Clean Air. Our medical-grade air purifiers filter all sorts of debris, including airborne viruses. Our central air purifier filters the entire dental office every 30 minutes.

I had a root canal for the very first time EVER! I was super nervous and very anxious; however Dr. C being super Fabulous as he is he and his staff were PHENOMENAL! my experience was literally out of this World!! if you need a dentist I highly recommend this one! I love Celestial Dental!!!

I was very dissatisfied with my experience, actually sickened by it! I saved my hard earned money for 2 crowns, they look horrible, the only way he would replace them is if I went ahead and let him redo 4 other crowns from a previous dentist that look beautiful! He then went on to tell me we're gotten so much better at crowns since we did yours every time I brush my teeth and look in mirror I just want to cry!

I had to use my other email to write this review since I couldn't give 5 stars twice from my last major work done 2 years ago! Two years ago Dr. C helped me in the middle of covid with getting fillings done on my teeth from a previous hack job dentist! About two months ago the crown Dr.C did 2 years ago came off. I made an apt and he got me right in! THIS ABSOLUTE PINNICAL OF A MAN, took one look at the failed crown and said to me "I can do better, I have improved so much with my methods since this was done." He penciled me in to have a new crown and re-do the crown surface free of charge! It's so rare to find people this day that take such pride and respect in their work. Hands down THE BEST dental work in NYS. I challenge anyone reading this to find a more professional, calm and knowledgeable group of people then the kind souls at Celestial Dental. From the bottom of my heart to the receptionist, to the staff to Dr. C himself. Thank you! Simply put.

coming here showed me just how bad my experiences at other dentists have been. I had so much anxiety about going to the dentist and here I received outstanding treatment! They actually CARE about your teeth are aren't treating you like a walking dollar sign. I feel I've found my permanent dentist.

I have had anxiety surrounding dental visits my entire life and never thought I would actually look forward to attending my next appointment! Every single staff member is caring, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. You have all exceeded my expectations and I would recommend Celestial Dental to anyone. I have the WORST anxiety when it comes to dentists, to the point where I won't go until the pain is unbearable. Well, I had to have a wisdom tooth removed and chose to go to Celestial Dental because they had SO many positive reviews! Let me tell you something, from the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a sweet, bubbly receptionist who makes you smile instantly. The waiting room doesn't look like a dental office which is even more comforting. From my consultation to having my tooth removed, it was obvious that they genuinely cared about me and how I felt. They wanted to make sure I was comfortable and ok, and that means the world to me. I have already scheduled a cleaning and will be going back to have another tooth removed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making what was once such a big fear, something that I can now look forward to!

There is a reason Celestial Dental has a 5 star rating! Easily the best dentist experience of my life. The whole staff is so friendly and professional. Dr. C is respectful, genuine and extremely knowledgeable. Plus the office seems more like a fun space museum than a dentist office. Highly recommended!

I had made a new patient appointment and arrived on time to be told they never verified my insurance and came to find out they don't accept my insurance to begin with. I specifically asked if they take my insurance before making the appointment and was told they do. So I drove all the way from Farmington to just be told they don't take my insurance and that I would have to pay when it was not my fault I was given false information and that my insurance was never verified beforehand so I wouldn't have to waste my gas or time. Very unprofessional customer service in my opinion. I feel like since it was their fault they should have done something to still be able to see me. I will not be returning and I definitely would not recommend as you may get false information and waste your time.

I would HIGHLY recommend this place even if you are completely satisfied with your current dentist. This office has all state of the art technology and equipment. Their astronomy themed decor makes the facility seem interesting and exciting. They even have TVs on the ceilings to give you a distraction while your mouth is getting worked on. Dr. C (the owner) is a super cool and relaxed progessive thinker. He gives personalized care and recommendations to all of his patients. His entire staff all really love their job too. You can tell Dr. C has created a fantastic work environment. I have no doubt this brand will continue to grow and attract new customers. This is dentistry done right!

If you want a master class in reception for your front office staff call up Celestial Dental! They're Polite, informative, and patient! They create a calming atmosphere. They call you back when they say they will and are straight forward with pricing. I came here because my previous dentists office was booking 3 months out. I called booked my appointment had X-Rays and a cleaning complete within 10 business days. I scheduled and had my work completed within the month. Their star program is also great and saves you money in the long run.

I am so grateful for Dr C., Rosanna and the hygienists at Celestial Dental. Rosanna called me after hours on a Friday evening to get me in for a desperately needed root canal on Monday morning. Other dental facilities had a 6 week wait. Dr. C. is very thorough, very caring and goes above and beyond to provide fabulous dental care. Everyone in the office is very friendly. I am so appreciative of the care I received! I highly recommend Celestial Dental!

Customer service that exceeded every expectation. They took me in and fixed me up when my dentist couldn't! Well I should now say, my old dentist. Rosanna, Dr. C and all the staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. They treat you like a person and not just a number. They saw me same day, and did procedure the following day while in the midst of a snow storm. You all are fantastic. Keep up the great work!

I was searching for months for someone who would not only work with my insurance but my health issues as well, then I ran across Celestial dental! From the initial phone contact to the visit every thing was better than I expected! The staff really care and not judge. All around a GREAT VISIT, even though it was the dentist . I have MAJOR anxiety over the dentist but Dr. C and his staff really cared and helped me get through the appointment! I am a fan and return customer! Thank you Dr C and staff!

This dentist and his entire staff are amazing! I've been to many dentists and this practice in my experience is far superior. Dr Calascibetta listens to patients, has ultra modern equipment, does root canals and other speciality work, including teeth whitening. The office is so comfy and has a clean air system too! Come and have a cup of Java, meet the staff and have a wonderful experience.

I have been going to Dr C for a few years. Every appointment has been fantastic. Celestial Dental is very professional, and also very welcoming. I recently brought my 3 year old-- on the way he said "I'm very nervous". His nervousness subsided when he was greeted with a friendly face/ dental hygienist. She began with offering a fun tooth brush, then explained all the tools in a way a young child would understand. He was then offered a balloon and a surprise. He couldn't wait to tell of his fun adventure at the dentist!! Wonderful dentist and staff-- I highly recommend!
