Dr. Chris Wolberg was born and raised in Alexandria and graduated Magna-Cum-laude from Virginia Tech with a degree in Biochemistry and minors in Chemistry in Horticulture. He then attended and received his doctorate from VCU Dental School. He attended a one-year hospital residency in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he learned various skills to expand his abilities. He is able to perform a variety of dental treatments here at Cedarwood Dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is especially passionate about the way we provide care. His goals are to educate, inform, and give options. He works with each patient to make sure they have all of their questions answered. Dr. Wolberg stays active in the dental community, attending Continuing Education classes whenever he can. Dr. Wolberg is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and has been named a Top Dentist in Virginia several years in a row. He and his wife, Joslyn, have a son named Fletcher and a goldendoodle named Della. They enjoy being at the river, beach, or mountains and enjoy all that Richmond has to offer.

Born and raised in Powhatan, Angel has always called the country side home. She graduated from Powhatan School of Dental Assisting, in 2017. Previously Angel worked in retail management with UKROPS for 12 years. She loves dental assisting for the challenge. When Angel isnt working in patient care she is spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her oldest daughter is a preschool teacher at Primrose and in school for early childhood education. Her youngest plays travel softball pitcher and outfield. Angel spends her times on the softball field sidelines attending all the games along with her husband who coaches. When not on the field Angel enjoys walking, reading, and swimming along with camping and hiking.

Many patients enjoy their conversations with Maha. She brings a calm presence to the office and helps patients feel comfortable. Her passion for dentistry keeps the office moving forward. Maha loves to seat patients early and help get their radiographs updated or start their dental polish for the hygiene team. Maha is currently working to become a dental hygienist. Maha is originally from Egypt and has been in Richmond area for 10 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and church group.

Arly grew up in Richmond and Florida. She has experience in Home Health which helps her provide excellent chair-side presence to all of the patients she meets. Since working in dentistry Arly has found happiness watching patients leave with smiles on their face and the confidence to live their best lives. When not helping patients at Cedarwood Dentistry you can find Arly at the beach, working on photography or being outside.

Raised in the rolling hills of Radford, VA Dr. Tarasidis has always called Virginia home. She graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1987. Upon graduation she attended the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and earned her Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry in 1988. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the American Association of Women Dentist. Dr. Tarasidis has served the Midlothian region for her career and love caring for her patients dental health and overall well-being. She understands the importance of listening to her patients and their concerns. Each day she is grateful for the opportunity to serve each patient and have a great support team. Dr. Tarasidis and her husband have 3 adult sons who are involved in social work, archeology and financial planning. In her free time, she enjoys a good hike outdoors, lots of reading, gardening, cooking and ultimately spending time with her family which includes their Brittany Spaniel, Ajax.

Joslyn joined the practice in 2017 as a dental hygienist. She graduated from VCU Dental Hygiene which is how she ended up in this region. After meeting her husband in school (Dr. Wolberg), they moved to Midlothian and started their careers. Joslyn has enjoyed the people she meets and relationships with each patient. She strives to find out keys that will help serve the patient best. In her first job she worked closely with people who have dental anxiety and understands not everyone loves the dentist! She has always worked to openly communicate with patients about the dental process and make sure patients know they are in control. Whether its a neck pillow or lip balm she works to make the patient comfortable. Raised in the Shenandoah Valley, Joslyn enjoys going back to her roots and enjoying a hike with her husband, son (Fletcher) and even their dog, Della. She recently has found interested in outdoor flower gardening and making flower arrangements.

Born in Puerto Rico and having lived in Richmond for 34 years, Ana is fluent in English and Spanish and has worked at our office for 17 years. Ana is married to Joe Guerrero, and they have one daughter, Elisa. After retiring as a medical technologist from the Veterans Administration in Louisville, Kentucky, she was introduced to the art of Porcelain Painting, which she has enjoyed as a student and later as a teacher. Ana enjoys spending time with family and friends, is active in her church, enjoys traveling, watching football, and watching and attending baseball games.

Born and raised right here in Richmond, VA, Stephanie has always called this region home. She graduated from Old Dominion University and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005. Since 2006 Stephanie has been a vital part to our dental hygiene care. She values the rapport she has established with patients throughout the years. Stephanie helps make patients feel welcome with her calm, chair-side manor. Her goals are to always make her patients feel welcome, informed and overall have a pleasant experience. Patients love how gentle but thorough Stephanies dental cleanings are! Outside of her dental hygiene role you can find Stephanie enjoying outdoor activities with her husband and two daughters.

Sheena is one of the first friendly faces you see upon entering the office. A native of Scotland many patients enjoy talking and even listening to Sheenas accent. Since 2005 Sheena has welcomed patients warmly to our office. She considers her work at the office her perfect job because she loves to meet and chat with people. She and her husband have one son and one daughter. She is a very proud GAGA to five grandsons! When Sheena is not at work you can find her traveling and taking trips back home to Scotland. Sheena also enjoys trying out new recipes on her family.

Jayne is our financial coordinator and one of our friendly staff who will speak with you on the phone and when you visit our office. She jointed the practice in 2020 and enjoys helping our patients and potential patients obtain their insurance benefits and aids in resolving financial matters. Jayne loves spending time with her family which include her daughter, son, fianc and his son. She enjoys barbecues with family, playing putt-putt and other family competitions and spending time on the James River.

He and his wife, Joslyn, have a goldendoodle named Della. They enjoy being at the river, beach, or mountains and enjoy all that Richmond has to offer. A native of Alexandria, Virginia, and a graduate of Virginia Tech, Chris has always called Virginia home.

Stephanie was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She attended Old Dominion University and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2005. Stephanie joined Dr. Mera and team in 2006 and strives to make each and every patient have a welcoming, educational, and pleasant dental experience. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Kimberly graduated from Western Kentucky University (Dental Hygiene, BS). She received her license to practice in Virginia in 1995. Kimberly was born and raised in South Korea and is very passionate about the importance of dental hygiene in patient care. She strongly believes that it is a first step in our overall health and well-being and her responsibility to not only provide treatment but also to educate her patients on the importance of self-care. Actively involved in her local church, as well as many social programs; including Feeding the Homeless in Monroe Park and CARITAS. I believe it is important to give back to our local community. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys gardening and walking. Kimberly is married and the mother of two beautiful children.

Dr. Tarasidis grew up in Radford, Virginia. After graduating from the University of Richmond, she attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where she earned her DDS degree in 1987. Dr. Tarasidis also attended the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she earned her Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry in 1988. She loved the Richmond area and returned to Midlothian, Virginia, where she has enjoyed serving her patients and their dental needs ever since. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Southside Dental Society, and the American Association of Women Dentists. She and her husband, Scott, have three sons, who attended Midlothian High School and are pursuing college and graduate studies. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Tarasidis enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and ultimately spending time with her family, including long walks with the family dog, Ajax.

Sheena is the first friendly face you will see upon entering our office! A native of Scotland, Sheena joined Dr. Meras office in 2005. She considers her work at our office her perfect job because she loves to meet and chat with people. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, especially her three grandsons! Sheena also enjoys traveling and trying out new recipes on the family. Our patients love to linger at our front desk to listen to Sheenas accent!
