Worst Dental office I have ever been with.I have a friend who wasn't allowed back because she was a "bad patient" and had bad teeth. I decided to discontinue my care there because Isis the receptionist has always been very unfair, discriminatory, not upfront with charges and fees, and very confusing when asked to explain. I was being charged for a cleaning that is 100% covered by my insurance. Isis was trying to explain why but she was being VERY confusing so I kept asking more and more questions and she got frustrated with me. I told her I am just trying to understand what I am paying for. She said "it sounds like you can't pay because of financial issues" 1. I have more than than enough money to pay for a $79 balance. 2. What right do you have to say that as an a business or as a person at all. 3. I have EVERY RIGHT to understand what I'm paying for regardless of how long it takes me to understand. 4. That was very unprofessional, offensive, and discriminatory. But yet I am the bad guy? After my last visit I 1000% believe she picks and chooses what patients she wants and be friendly with. NEVER have done anything to her personally. I am beyond shocked, confused, and disgusted at the way they treat their patients. There was another time before this where DR. O pulled me in his office and had a talk with me about my actions towards Isis, and again it was because she was charging me for something that I was never been made aware of. Felt like I was in trouble, being yelled at in middle school at the principals office for hurting someone's feelings. I just heard him out said okay and that was the end of it. After that "talk" I made sure I was more than respectful and communicated with them in a friendly and professional way. Today, I received a letter that my balance will be sent to collections if I don't pay. That balance will go into collections, be appealed, and I will be more than happy to take legal action if necessary so that they can take responsibility for this NON SENSE! This isn't the only dental office, so in the end, they are the ones losing out. If there was a rating for 0, then that is absolutely what they deserve.

My family and I have been going here for years and Dr. Oguntolu is incredible. He always asks about everyone, is very friendly, and knows his profession inside and out!

Hi, I am only giving one star because I had to. If it was up to me this business would get nothing! Femi Oguntolu the primary dentist/doctor of this office is very welcoming and knowledgeable at first, but it must be a facade. I paid $200 for a tooth extraction at this office - NOT ONCE did the doctor or anyone from the office call to follow up or schedule a follow up. I reached out to them over 3 times because I was in excruciating pain and Dr. Oguntolu continued to blame me for the pain i was in, implying that i must have smoked or not followed after care instructions (which only consisted of pain meds and salt water rinses) as if i would be so careless with my oral health/hygiene. He then proceeded to prescribe me antibiotics without even scheduling time to take xrays to check for an infection. I had to find another dentist office for follow up care, this is over 2 weeks after the extraction at Dr. Oguntolu's office. the gums have not healed, there is still a huge hole at the extraction site and the new dentist found bone fragments still in the extraction site that must have been left behind by Dr. Oguntolu. Until this day after reporting to Dr. Oguntolu and his office the complications/pain i was having, still no one has reached out. This overall experience was very traumatizing, tiring, and frustrating. It has really put a strain on my quality of life. 0/10 would not recommend.

Dr. O is an excellent dentist. Him and his staff treat you like family. This is a such a welcoming environment.

I cannot say how much I love Dr. O!! I have been going here since I was 13 and it was the best change of dentists ever! When I was younger I had a dentist that was not friendly and would dig into my gums to the point I would bleed and be in pain the rest of the day. Since changing dentists I actually enjoy going to the dentist. Dr. O is amazing and he surrounds himself with wonderful hygienists and even his administrative staff Isis are pleasant and kind. I leave with a deep cleaning each time without pain and just tell them where I have recession to be gentle and they listen. I have referred him to friends and my entire family goes here. It is clean and during the pandemic they are following guidelines to make sure you feel safe while getting your teeth looked at. I cannot say enough things. My brother lives in California and when he visits he goes here...that just shows how amazing he is! I love Dr. O. and he is the best I have ever had. When I lived in California I visited my parents in Revere and made an appointment with him and he fit me for a mouth guard to stop grinding. He knows how to help you with lock jaw and all of that. Oh and he hides the needle! When I had a cavity he hid it. Then you don't see it coming and provides a distraction you so then you don't freak out by getting the novacaine, which shows how much he cares for his patients to not be scared when having work done. There is plenty of parking in the lot and if it is ever full there is parking on both sides of the road so you don't have to worry about that. Right off of route 1 which is an easy location to get to. Five stars for Cedarwood Dental Care. I have my boyfriend going now too because Dr. O is absolutely wonderful and I will go here always.

Amazing experience! Dr. Oguntolu and his staff are highly skilled and genuinely care. High quality work and able to present options/solutions to the patient without pressure or judgement. Try them, you won't regret it!

From the minute you walk in and are greeted with Isis and her warm and beautiful smile you feel welcome. The staff there are very friendly and make your experience a positive one. Doctor O is very warm and makes sure that all of his patients are treated with respect and have a positive experience! I love their office and would HIGHLY recommend anyone to book an appointment there...from Marie Surpris.

I feel that I should let others know that this is not the dentist to go to if you want professional and affordable service. In an extremely short period of time this arrogant and self riotous man managed to put me in dental debt of about $7000.00. I have witnessed him be abrupt and rude with not only patients but his employees as well. Only being a patient of his for less than 5 years he has managed to lose more staff (decent staff I might add...Franca and Jessica to name a few) faster than you can imagine. Funny when you ask him about the whereabouts of them he states "they became so difficult and we had a falling out and they walked out on me, but I did nothing wrong (famous last words about everything!).....Of course they walk out on him, he is nasty and yells at staff in front of patients. I have no respect for someone that does that. I had a crown placement in December 2018 and after placing the permanent crown he proceeded to keep shaving it down. Instead of maybe realizing the impression was not a good one because of course his dental assistant had also "walked out on him" so he was doing this solo, something that clearly needs 2 people. 2 weeks after that placement I was eating and hit a nerve which was a horrible pain I might add. He did have me come in right away to only repeatedly tell to not use the word nerve anymore in his presence because that was not the case. He did say that "maybe I made it to low, we can do it again". Are you crazy ??? No wait I would be if I had him do anymore work on me. Not the first time I have had crown work that I needed to repeatedly go back and forth for to have "adjustments". Also beware of his front desk staff she always tries to charge you for something even after he would say it was covered or complimentary. Of course it should be covered you just charged me a lot of money so you could screw up and you want me to pay again. They wouldn't give you a break if your teeth were rotting out of your face and he was the last dentist on earth. With him its all about the $$$$, they are not caring at all. I went to 3 different dentists and paid for all 3 to be told that he made the crown to low, it was flat and it had a hole in it. I finally found a caring dentist at Gentle Dental in Somerville who repaired it and took care of me. Needles to say I felt Dr O should have at least given me back my money. I even stated half would be ok since I had exhausted and re-exhausted my dental insurance benefits and now had to pay in cash (that included the new dentist also...not his fault though he did the work and needed to be paid). He refused and still thinks that he did nothing wrong and the work he did was fine during and after. I might add he insisted my boyfriend (a patient of his for 20+ plus years to also find another dentist along with dropping me as a patient). He isn't worth the time, effort or cost to try and be reimbursed he knows what he did and he can live with it. Maybe someday soon enough the American Dental Society can see how he practices because believe me this will happen again to another patient. Every dog has his day !

My family and I have been going to Cedarwood Dental for over 15 years and I am so happy with the treatment and patience. I am afraid of the dentist but I will not change this place for anything.

We love Dr. Oguntolu and Cedarwood dental. I love my. new implants. Thank God. I was soo afraid before I started the treatment, but everything turned out great. It took time to finish but the result was great. Thank you Dr. O.

I had been a long time patient. This dentist took me to court for work he never proformed. This guy is all about the money. He is rude and arrogant to his employees ,hence the high turnover rate. If this is the last dentist on the planet, let your teeth rot.
