Dr. Mauzard Benjamin is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. Originally from Haiti, he earned a Dental Surgery degree in 1993 from the State University of Haiti.After relocating to the United States, he repeated his education atNew YorkUniversity to comply with US licensing laws which require dentists to earn a dental degree from an American University. In 2006, Dr. Benjamin received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr.Benjamin is a gentle dentist. I had all my teeth taken out at one visit. I am getting dentures and I was apprehensive. I am so happy I had them all done. No problems with the procedure and very little pain. Thank you Dr.Benjamin.

I've been to a few dentist because I need a lot of work done on my teeth. I have not felt comfortable until coming here! They gave me more options on my treatment plan, and the pricing for everything. Very friendly and honest. I highly recommend!

I took my daughter here for a cleaning. The lady that was getting all the tools together did not wear gloves the whole time we was there. When I said something to her she got very rude with me. Then the doctor was very distracted by talking with the lady. My child's teeth looked horrible when he was done. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very clean facility. Helpful and considerate staff. I was very nervous about my procedure. The dentist took the time to address all my concerns without speaking down to me. I had complete confidence in him before he even started my dental work because he took the time with me. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I went to this dentist after I lost my job and health insurance benefits. The doctors and staff are friendly but there is no hygienist, the dentist does the cleanings and exams which means he is rushing through from one patient to the next. There were still stains on my teeth that typically would be removed at my other dentist office. At my 2nd cleaning he said I had 4 or 5 cavities that needed to be filled. I thought that was odd because it had only been 6 months since I had gone and he didn't say anything about them previously and I haven't had any in several years. I went back to my old dentist to get a 2nd opinion and he said everything looked fine. Unfortunately, this was after I let this dentist do 3 fillings on my daughter who also hasn't had any in several years. I don't know if she truly needed them or not but needless to say we won't be coming back to this office.

Called because I was in severe pain from a broken tooth that needs to be pulled and they told me the earliest they can get me in is January. Which is over three months away. I've been leaving messages for the past month and trying to book appointments online and no one has returned my calls. Hands-down the worst dentist office I have ever been to in my entire life.

I'm currently 7 mths pregnant and brush my teeth twice a day and floss 2_3 times a week. And could definitely take better care of them. Since I became pregnant and have been having a lot of stress I noticed that my gums started bleeding. (Which is also possible from being pregnant) I called to schedule an appointment for tooth pain that was set 3 weeks away!!! I came to the appointment to be seen and was only scheduled for a consultation... I completely wasted my morning and waited 3 weeks for the dentist to tell me that I needed a cleaning that I already was aware of but he wasn't going to do anything else and needed to reschedule for the toothpain regardless of the fact that the initial call was about my pain to begin with. The doctor came back in the room and gave me a prescription for medicated mouthwash while I would have to wait another 2 weeks before I could be seen again. Then when I was trying to schedule the appointment I'm currently on pregnancy Medicaid due to me being in a domestic violence situation and the girl at the front desk told me that my insurance wouldn't cover the deep cleaning and she didn't think I could afford out of pocket. I've never been treated so poorly at a dentist office that I just gave the prescription back to them and will not be back nor do I recommend anyone ever going there because they will mistreat you without even knowing your personal situation. Being judged is not right and severely disappointed and appalled at their behavior.

Dr. B. is always kind and respectful, and asks me about school every time I visit! He does a great job cleaning my teeth and I still schedule my appointments with him despite having moved away for college. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Benjamin has more kindness and skill than all the other "dentists" I've seen in my 50 yrs. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff. We are lucky to have him in Cedartown.
