Nicole Y Salamy DMD is originally from Boston, MA. She went to Boston Latin School, the oldest high-school in the country. She furthered her studies at Boston University graduating with a degree in Human Physiology. She continued her studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2000. While in dental school she published and presented her research at the Academy of Academic Research on Bond strengths of resin bonding and was the president of the ASDA, The American Student Dental Association.
After school, she associated in Stoughton, MA for 13 years, dividing her time between Teamsters Care, treating the members and the families of Local Union 25, and at Kid Care Dental, where she was the general dentist on staff treating both adults and children. While at Kid Care Dental, she was trained in laser dentistry as well as sedation dentistry, soon to be offered at her new practice.
Dr. Salamy has further enhanced her dental education by attending The Pankey Institute April 2012 and January 2013, located in Key Biscayne, FA. At the Pankey Institute, she completed two Essentials courses which focused on dental occlusion which is how the muscles of the face, the jaw joint and the teeth relate to each other. In May 2013, she attended a course at the Zimmer Institute in Carlsbad, CA, for restoring implants. Dr. Salamy was selected in 2012 to attend The Leadership Institute at the MDS, Massachusetts Dental Association. As one of the 16 dentists selected, she is learning how to become as effective a leader in the dental profession. This is a two year commitment.
Dr. Salamy is supporting the Plainville community with sponsorship of two youth soccer teams, and providing childrens dental health education/enrichment to the kindergarten and preschool of the Anna Ware Jackson Elementary School.

I love Dr. Salamy!! I had been putting her off for quite a while, so sorry I did not take care of my teeth sooner. She was wonderful today I received 2 crowns all within her office I must say they are beautiful. She has all the state of the art equipment I am just so pleased. Thank you Dr.

I had to have a few fillings done yesterday with Dr. Salamy and her assistant Cheynne . They we incredibly friendly and professional the work was performed with complete explanation of procedure and with extreme care of me being comfortable. I would strongly recommend Cedar family dentist to anyone who has any fear or apprehension towards dental work as the team is amazing! Thank you guys!

I had my first dental appointment today at Cedars Family Dental and was blown away from the time I walked in the door until I left the practice. Well a professional office that really cares about their patients! Dr. Salamy and her team are very knowledgeable and are very thorough. I have some sleep issues and Dr. Salamy explained to me in depth on how she can make me an appliance to wear with my CPAP machine to help get a better night sleep and save the wear on my teeth. If you are looking for a New Dentist this is the place for you. Hands Down!!

Had a cleaning today and bite wing xrays. Mellisa was great! Very thorough, also informed me of a few preventative treatments. Super friendly and knowledgable! Also very gentle when cleaning my teeth! Dr. Salamy always great to see and talk with!

actually , no other dentist told me you could move the painful xray thing you put in your mouth to make it more comfortable without dispositioning it too far . ive just accepted pain every time i had to get my teeth checked but : that wasnt necessary . i never realized that the method of xraying wasnt designed for people with bones being larger in certain places of their mouths . thank you ! :3

Thank you Dr. Salamy for getting me in the next day after I broke my tooth. You saved my anniversary weekend vacation. If you want a dentist that embraces the latest technology and can create crowns in the office on the fly, come to visit Cedars family dental. She has invested in the latest technology that not many other dentists have embraced. Her attention to details can't be beat. Never going anywhere else.

Let me just say that I HATE THE DENTIST! After doing plenty of research on the dental clinics in my area, I came across Cedar Dental. According to the Google reviews, I gave them a try. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Everyone made me feel extremely comfortable! Everyone is extremely kind! Couldn't have picked a better dental office!
