I knew I wanted to become a dentist since my fifth grade science fair. For my experiment, I placed teeth in beakers of soda. I was astonished by the changes that occurred to the teeth in such a short period of time. What an eye opener!
I come from a long line of health care providers. My dedication to dentistry began at a young age when I dealt with my own dental issues. I understand how frustrating it can be to be unhappy with your smile. My fascination in the process of fixing my teeth and happiness with the results has led to a professional life devoted to bringing patients the same joy and comfort in their smiles.
My goal is to make the dental experience as comfortable as possible. I strive to perform top of the line treatment for patients when they are in our office, and provide all knowledge needed to maintain oral health at home. I care about my patients, and value the opportunity to make a relationship with each of them.
Stephany is new to the Cincinnati area coming up from the great state of Texas. Stephany brings with her 10 years of dental experience and strives to create great patient experiences. She has a positive, and uplifting demeanor and is looking forward to building relationships with all our patients. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Cincinnati, going to concerts, and cheering on her favorite football teams.
Melissa has over 6 years experience in the field of dentistry as both a dental assistant and front office assistant. She enjoys the different responsibilities the front office gives her, and the opportunity to explain procedures and answer questions with a different perspective. In her free time Melissa enjoys riding and training her horse Brewer, spending time with her golden retriever- Watson, traveling with friends, and finding a new restaurant to try!
Kimberly is new to the Cincinnati area coming from Bowling Green, KY where she spent the last 4 years in Pediatric Dentistry. Her love for dentistrybroughther to Cedar Village Dentistrywhere she is excited to meet new and existing patients and start building relationships.
Andi joined the front desk team at Cedar Village Dentistry in Feb, 2021 after spending the past 10 years in customer service. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 2011, and now lives in Mason, OH with her 2-year-old son Hendrix, and her fur baby, Frankie.
In her spare time, Andi loves spending time with her friends and family. Shes happiest when shes sitting poolside, or dancing and singing the night away at a concert. Andi is excited and grateful to be a part of the team and were glad to have her, too!
Amy is the assistant team lead and joined the Cedar Village Dentistry Team in 2016. She shares with our patients her 16 years of experience. Throughout her career she has completed many specialized training and certifications including classes in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), which teaches skills needed to help patients and people in emergency situations. She also maintains a CPR certification and X-ray license.
After passing the CDA exam for dental assistants, Amy followed up with the Nitrous Oxide Sedation Monitoring and Coronal Polishing certifications. So far her most gratifying acquirement is being an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, which allows her to work one on one with patients needing composite restorations.
Joy started her career as a dental assistantandcontinued her schooling attending Universityof Cincinnati to become an Expanded FunctionDental Auxiliary(EFDA). Joy has an Associates degree in Dental assistingaccompaniedby an Associates of Science degree. Throughout her careershe has acquired other skills and certifications such as CPR and OSHA training, nitrous oxide monitoring and a radiology license.
Joys hobbies include hiking, singing, dancing, kayaking, gardening, canning her own salsa and spendingtime in the pool among many more fun things. Joy enjoys doing anything fun and adventurouswith her family!
Nikki joined our team in January 2019, and shares with our patients her 9 years of experience. After being with theoffice for 1 year, she furthered her education and went to EFDA school at Sinclair. This has allowed her to work more closely with patients needing composite restorations.
She also maintains her CPR certification and X-ray license. During her time as an assistant, Nikki has gained experience in nearly every aspect of dentistry. And with that our patients and Dr. Dooley benefit from her assistance with crowns, endodontic therapy, extractions, implants, orthodontics, dentures, whitening, and sedation dentistry.
However, she decided to use those personal experiences and anxieties as a way to help others, thus leading her into the dental field. Cedar Village Dentistry is proud to have Nikki provide a comfortable environment for our patients through her professionalism, humor, and natural chair-side manner.
Sarah has a passion and interest for dentistry. She is excited to grow her skills as an assistant with the team here, Sarah plans to attend Sinclair College EFDA program and grow her knowledge in dentistry. She also maintains a CPR certification and X-RAY license.
Kenzie has always had a passion for the dental field and is excited to learn and grow with Cedar Village Dentistry. She enjoys all the responsibilities she takes on as a dental assistant and fully embraces the opportunity to help others. Kenzie plans to further her education in future and is looking forward to growing with this practice.
Hayley comes to the Cedar Village Dentistry team with 16 years of dental experience and she loves being a dental professional. There is always something new to learn in dentistry, classes to attend and techniques to perfect. Having started as a dental assistant she learned the procedures performed by the Dentist. Hayley can talk patients through each step of a dental procedure, and give them reassurance and words of compassion to encourage comfort and calmness in the dental chair.
Hayley was a dental assistant for a number of years, and wanted to be more involved with patient care, so she went to dental hygiene school at Sinclair Community College and received her Associates degree in Applied Science. A few years later, she continued her education and returned to Sinclair to get her certification as an EFDA which allows her to also place composite restorations. Whether she meets a patient in the hygiene room or the Doctors treatment room she is prepared to give them the best care possible.
Hayley was raised in a small rural town and has only been in the Mason area for a short time. People love her for her happy go lucky personality and the energy she brings. She enjoys being outdoors, going on traveling adventures and spending time with family and friends.
Shelby is a graduate of Sinclair Community College with an Associates degree of Applied Science, Dental Hygiene. Her passion is helping her patients reach oral health excellence through patient education and continuous learning to provide the newest and innovative information to Cedar Village Dentistry.
In her free time, Shelby has found a love for creating blankets and hats for her kids and family through crochet which she taught herself. She looks forward to the summer and being outdoors, whether its to go fishing or grilling out with her family.
Brooklyn began her dental career as a dental assistant and comes to us with 6 years of dental assisting experience. She has gone on to further her education at the University of Cincinnati and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science, Dental Hygiene. She is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. Her goal is to help patients obtain oral health excellence and link their oral health with their general health.
Brooklyn enjoys traveling the world and exploring new cultures. When shes not traveling, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Brooklyn also loves shopping, crafting, and cooking. She looks forward to meeting new people and making them feel welcome here at Cedar Village Dentistry!
Kelsey is a 2018 graduate from Georgetown College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended Sinclair Community College and graduated with an Associate degree of Applied Science, Dental Hygiene. She has also certified in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide administration.
Kelsey has always had a love for the dental field. She remembers how much she loved getting cleanings as a kid and is eager to create a positive patient experience by building long-lasting relationships with her very own patients. She is incredibly happy to be a member of the Cedar Village Dentistry team.
