Dr. Andy Setaputri received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Philosophy/Ethics from the University of Detroit Mercy. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at theUniversity of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Andys desire to provide the best quality care for his patients motivated him to pursue a post-doctorate program and earned his Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry from St. Johns Providence Hospital and theUniversity of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Dr. Andy is committed to be involved and devoted to staying up to date with the latest dental technologies and techniques through continuing education courses. He is well-trained in providing quality dental care in all aspects of dentistry, ranging from cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery to crown and bridge work. As part of his continuing education he is an active member in the following associations:
After practicing in Grand Rapids and the Lakeview areas he is excited to join the Cedar SpringsFamily. On a personal note, he lives in Rockford with his wife, Ashley, and his two golden retrievers, Charlie and Brimley. He also enjoys going on walks and trips, playing soccer and tennis, playing drums, working-out, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Zane Setaputri received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Detroit Mercy. Due to his excellent preparation prior to dental school, Dr. Zane was one of very few recipients of a significant scholarship. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Following graduation, Dr. Zane spent the last few years working in the Grand Rapids and Newaygo areas. Dr. Zane is committed to provide exceptional comprehensive dental care in a friendly and caring environment. He is well-trained in all aspects of dentistry and enjoys working with all ages. Dr. Zane has focused on taking cutting-edge continuing education courses in some challenging areas of dentistry for the benefit of our patients. He is proficient in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery and all other aspects of general dentistry. He is involved and is an active member of the following associations:
One of Dr. Zanes passions is to provide free dental care to those in need. As former president of the Christian Dental Association he organized multiple trips to Roatan, Honduras. His group visited Honduras multiple times and provided dental care for hundreds of people in need.
Aside from Dentistry being his passion, Dr. Zane enjoys spending time with family. Together with his wife, Lisa, they have two boys, Zane Jr and Zion. He enjoys staying fit by running in local races and working out. He is excited to join the Cedar Springs family so help us welcome him!

I have been going to Cedar Springs Dental for the last 4 years and have had nothing but the best experiences. Dr. Andy is amazing at what he does and really cares about his patients and their comfort. I was very anxious when I was told I needed my first filing, but he made the process easy and painless. The dental hygienists are all wonderful and caring as well, but Taylor has been my favorite so far. She's incredibly kind and relatable and really puts my anxiety at ease. Even after moving quite a distance from Cedar Springs, I still chose to make the drive to see Dr. Andy and his staff because I know I will receive consistent, quality care!

Best Dentist in town!!! Seriously! The staff is beyond amazing and so friendly. They make sure your comfortable and understanding your issues. Both Doctors are top notch and so nice. They are super great with kids and all around family environment. Highly recommend and won't go anywhere else.

I was so impressed with my visit with Dr. Zane and Martha the RDA. I appreciated Dr. Zane's honesty about my condition involving my dentures, bone structure, and mouth sore. And Martha was amazing. My dentures, made at another dental office, never fit correctly and I had to go back AT LEAST 20 TIMES for adjustments with unsatisfactory results. Martha made a few ingenious adjustments and gave me some helpful tips and I walked out of there completely pain free with a lower denture I thought would never fit correctly. I really was completely amazed. My husband also had a very positive experience with a tooth extraction and we would highly recommend them.

Dr. Andy and the team are fantastic. The office is clean, calming and the staff are extremely welcoming. The dental assistant that conducted my x-rays, Abby, was super friendly and alleviated my nervousness. I highly recommend this great doctor and his team to everyone! There is one bad thing though....I have a cavity and I either get a root canal or have it pulled, LOL.

Was so apprehensive about Dr. Andy after having Dr. Danette for so long, but have to say it was a very smooth transmission. Dr. Andy and his staff are very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Loved my experience at Cedar Springs Dental! I'm a new patient and had my first visit a couple days ago. The office is beautiful and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The care was top notch and very thorough. I received a "comfort menu" where I could choose items such as pillows, lip balm, Netflix, etc. to make my visit more comfortable. Both Abbie and Dr. Andy were professional, wonderful and accommodating. I also received a welcome gift which was such a nice touch. I love going to the dentist now! I will recommend Cedar Springs Dental a million times!

First impression walking through the door is the office is very clean, and calming. I was definitely impressed as a new pt to get a tour of the entire office. Being in the medical field it's nice to see they are thorough with sterilization, and cleaning. The best part is all the extra amenities to really make every pt every time feel welcome. They offer top of the line radiology services, TV and headphones which are helpful during procedures, warm towels and blankets. Nice paper bags filled with great stuff and a full size tooth paste! Becky was my hygienist and she explained what she was doing and why and the importance of things which I had never heard most of it. I wish I would have found this place sooner. My dentist was so nice and honest about what was needed and what is not necessary at this time. The ladies in the office are all very nice from check in to check out. My husband will be following right behind me and switching from his dentist he has had for years. I can't say enough good things about this office. If you've been thinking of changing dentist you this is a great place!

The front desk lady with curly hair (must be a manager) is so incredibly rude and offensive. I had $40 left on my bill and I said I could pay that off on Friday (payday) and she loudly says "I will allow that, but don't screw us over on the money!" Not sure why she said that because my bill is always paid. Thousands i have spent there the past year and thats how im treated. I referred 2 other people last year and they say the exact same. They did 2 visits and refused to go back because of her.She has a I'm better than you attitude and I'm over it . I'll find a different dentist :(
