I am bummed I have to keep paying $50 every time I need a new retainer. Did not enjoy my care at all. The biggest issue is the lack of updates on the care and timing. Outside of being extremely far off from the initial timeline they provide no updates. This seems to be a common thread of under estimating the care timeline. I assume so you are more likely to committ to them over others.

Beware of hidden costs. My son needed the broken piece of of his permanent retainer repaired. They said they couldn't repair it as his teeth shifted, and he would need braces again to correct the alignment. He left with the broken retainer still partially glued to the underside of his upper teeth and they sent a $60 office charge to me (mom). My son is 27 years old and lives independently. The billing person insisted the charge was appropriate despite my attempt to explain no services were rendered except a consultation which is normally free.

I am so grateful for Dr. Newton and her team. My son can be anxious and likes things explained in detail. Dr. Newton and her girls always take time to explain things, let him ask questions and go out of their way to make him feel comfortable. We never feel rushed and we truly appreciate the chairside manner. We are thrilled to have chosen Cedar Orthodontics to care for our family!

Dr. Newton is amazing! You are a patient at Cedar, not a chair number hoarded in like cattle, as it is at another popular ortho that gives T-shirts, which you get at Cedar too! Plus the prices are much lower and they work with you! You'd be silly, not to choose Cedar. My daughter's teeth are looking awesome!

I highly recommend Cedar orthodontics! Dr. Newton takes the time to explain everything well, and it's clear she truly cares for my best interest. She's knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest techniques, on top of having a down-to-earth and friendly personality. I really couldn't ask for a better orthodontist to be doing my Invisalign with!

Complete lie on dates. Heard my daughter was getting her braces off in November, LAST YEAR!! Come to find out I'm still going now and still no date on when they're coming off. She will get her jaw where he says and it's never good enough. Next appointment we are going there and cutting this process off. I don't care what he says otherwise. This has become ridiculous

AMAZING! We are currently going through the process of braces with our daughter and couldn't be happier. Not rushed in terms of treatment -- consults with other places suggested pulling teeth, etc. but not here; they are working with her growing body/mouth and as a parent I LOVE THAT! Dr. Newton and her staff are amazing. I have (and will continue) to recommend Cedar Orthodontic's to friends and family.

I had such an amazing experience at Cedar Orthodontics, Dr Newton knows her stuff, she's got an awesome personality as well which is a plus. If you're looking for an orthodontist , she's the one to go to. I'm going to recommend her to all my friends and family!!!!!

Doctor Ostertag and his staff are simply the best. They are accommodating and the treatment process is very personalized. Doctor Ostertag takes the time to discuss the status of your child's treatment with you and your child EVERY appointment-you won't get that everywhere. If you want the best orthodontic care in the Chippewa Valley, look no further than Ostertag Orthodontics.

Took twice as long as the prognosis to get my daughters braces off. Horrible to get a convenient appointment. They are closed every friday! Plus they are closed for practically every holiday on the calendar, sometimes the day before or after a holiday also! Not very respectful of their patients'/patients' working parents'time.

It's been 10+ years since I've had braces with Dr. Ostertag, when he was at the Marshfield Dental Clinic. I move a lot for my job and every dentist I've seen has told me what a remarkable job my orthodontist has done with my teeth. They also tell me that I was a difficult case to correct but that the treatment I received was world class. Young people, keep wearing your retainers! You'll be happy when you're 30 and still have beautiful teeth!
