Dr. Toubman actually hails from a long, long lineage of dentists. His grandfather Morris worked as a dentist in downtown Hartford from the 1920s through the 1960s. His Aunt Rosalind was also one of the first woman dentists in Connecticut! His father Harold practiced in Newington and at the Institute of Living Hospital in Hartford; he also served on the faculty at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. When it came time to pick his own career, the path forward was crystal-clear to Dr. Toubman.
After attending Bucknell University, Dr. Toubman completed his dental doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania. He served in the National Health Service Corps for two years before entering private practice here in Newington, where hes been ever since! He also attended continuing education programs through the prestigious Pankey Institute and has served as a Past President of the Hartford Dental Society, as well as a pre-dental advisor for students at Trinity College. Today, he is a member of the following organizations:
Dr. Toubman is married to Susan, who has taught in the Newington school system for nearly four decades. Their grown children are scattered around the country! When he has free time, hes a BIG athletic/health enthusiast. He enjoys playing tennis and squash and has also played soccer at the collegiate and amateur club level. On quieter days, he likes doing crossword puzzles and the Jumbles.

I drive from Branford,CT to visit Cedar Mountain Dental. I am extremely pleased with the professional care and absolute dedication to improving my mouth health. I love going to my dentist because of the excellent personal care and the gentility of procedures that are performed. My comfort is a priority and is never questioned. I had a total hip replacement surgery and I went for my cleaning when the hygienist inquired as to if I took my prophylactic antibiotic. My surgeon never mentioned it at all. This office contacted my surgeon and in fact I couldn't have any dental work done for 6 months...... So the astute care of my situation was remarkable and I was very grateful that my hygienist had the professionalism to inquire before proceeding. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. They strive for excellence and achieve it.

Honest review time, choosing a dentist isn't the easiest thing in the world believe me. So in normal fashion you ask around, and a friend recommended Cedar Mountain Dental. Well I decided to give them a try. Let me tell you, Cedar Mountain Dental is fantastic. Their staff is super friendly, their facility is very clean, there hours are very accommodating, and they do such a wonderful job taking care of your teeth that I can't praise them enough. I would recommend them to anyone looking to find a Dental hygienist.

I've been a patient at this practice for 35 years. I have received excellent dental care that starts with the front staff, amazing hygienists, and the doctors. Family friendly dental practice with excellent service from the dentist and hygienist right down to the front desk staff. Everyone is so friendly and nice and welcoming.
