Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I'm here now waiting just like the other reviews. I'm confused because I received a call from informing me they had a cancellation yet I'm have been here over an hour waiting. The young lady who did the x-ray is very unprofessional. I suggest look for another dentist.

I went to Modern Dentistry in Cedar Hill on Sept. 9th for a cleaning. They said I had a cracked took in the back. I agreed for them to fix it. After I left a few hours later I could barely open my mouth. I called the office and told them about my mouth went back in Monday the 19th. I saw the Dentist and she said I am sorry but I hit a muscle and it's swollen and inflamed. I asked for pain medicine because I am in so much pain trying to open my mouth to eat. I have to push food in my mouth off the fork and by the time I finish eating I am in so much pain but she refused to give me anything to help with the inflammation or pain. I can hardly brush my teeth due to the pain and not being able to open my mouth. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life.

Fantastic dentist office! It couldn't be better. The ladies at the front office we're super friendly. The time called in for ex-ray was reasonable time. I have gag reflex when ex-ray is done, the ladies are always patient and gave me mouth wash to distract my mind when the piece that goes in the mouth for the ex-ray. When a procedure is done, the doctor is very open minded and he will hear what you have to say for any issues. The time for all my procedures are pretty good. The doctor can do some procedures that most dentist offices can't do. I couldn't ask for a better dentist then here!

Too much waiting!!! Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. I was given every excuse in the book, none of them were true. They scheduled my appointment at 1p and was still in lunch until 130p. Pick another dentist!!!

The people here are fantastic! The ladies at the desk are the nicest front office staff I've ever encountered. We move a lot so I have plenty to compare them to! We hate we are moving because by far our favorite dentist ever!!

The staff was very professional, attentive, gracious and made me (a sceptic) very comfortable. I truly appreciated the care I received there. I was in a lot of pain and they were sympathetic. Will definitely return and not be afraid anymore. Thank you!! 1/28/22 Had to edit my review. Even though I had a not so bad experience on my first visit, it's about two and a half weeks later, after several phone calls, finally was able to make an appointment for a tooth extraction, but not until 2/23 and now my tooth is hurting again (shaking my head). Maybe if they scheduled my follow up appointment with the oral surgeon a week ago, I could of had it removed today..now another month of waiting (oh yeah, still waiting for the email confirmation with the address to the Arlington location, thanks Jeff...hopefully will receive it before my appointment so I know where to go!!!) Not sure why but this is unacceptable!!!

ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!! I am so happy with my ORTHO results! Thank you so much Doc and his amazing assistants. Come check them out for any orthodontist work you need. You will love the results! Everyone in his team will make sure you are taken care of & are pleased at the end. I can truly say I LOVE MY SMILE!!!!! I smiled a lot but now wow you'll always get me with a smile for cheek to cheek THANK YOU SO MUCH definitely recommend you will get the best in the Cedar Hill area!

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! They have went way down hill since Dr. Gross left. This new staff are very inexperienced, and unprofessional. They bill inaccurate prices from your contracted insurance rates. Don't waste your time with this dental office.

I had a crown come out that was placed in 2018, my current dentist did not want to replace the crown and told me to contact the dental office that did the original work. I made an appointment was seen quickly and was told the issue with the crown and it was replaced with no complications. This office has the best patient friendly atmosphere I have experienced in quite awhile. Thank you!
