Dr. Josh received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Northwest Dental Residency in Yakima, WA. He has also completed the track 1 course with The Kois Center in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Josh grew up in Yakima, WA and is a lifelong Washingtonian. He went to college in Walla Walla, WA where he majored in business and met and married his wife. He is passionate about his patients and how he can change their lives through oral health. Outside of work Dr. Josh loves road biking, sailing, hiking, and building furniture. He, his wife, and new son live in Sedro-Woolley.
Enthusiastic and friendly, Meghin is at her best when creating business strategies that work together to build a practice that serves our patients and community in the best way possible. She graduated from Walla Walla University with a B.S in Healthcare Sciences and has worked in Healthcare Administration ever since. As a Washingtonian new to the Puget Sound area, Meghin enjoys exploring her beautiful new home with her husband. Her time at home is spent studying business, making sweet treats, creating art, and enjoying two luxuriously lazy cats.
Patty has a passion for dentistry for the elderly, and thats why she enjoys teaching good oral hygiene and making sure that all patients are greeted with a warm smile. When she is not in the office, Patty enjoys knitting, music, and Tennessee walking horses. Patty received her dental hygiene training at Broome Community College, and she completes yearly continuing education to maintain her license.
Erin is known around the office for being thorough and gentle. She is wonderful with children and adored by our patients that need a little extra TLC. Erin was born and raised here in Skagit County and received her dental hygiene degree from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. She and her husband of 20 years have a son, a daughter, a golden retriever and a mini schnauzer. When shes not working, Erin enjoys running her photography business, hiking, gardening, and interior design.
Building on previous childcare experiences, Izabel enjoys working with children. Attentive and compassionate, Izabel became a dental assistant because she loves to see the transformation in a patients smile and how it changes their lives for the better. A graduate of Mount Vernon Highschool, Izabel completed her dental assistant certification at the Bellingam Dental Assistant School. She loves to be in the kitchen cooking and baking (when shes not distracted by her two dogs, Mia and Donny!).
Sandy graduated from Mount Vernon High School. She then completed a course at the Northwest Career and Technical Academy where she earned a certificate in Dental Technology. She always provides generous, warm hearted administrative care for all our patients by helping them reaching their dental goals. She has been in the dental field for her entire career. During her free time, she enjoys painting, learning Russian and spending time with friends and family. You can also find her outdoors hiking, swimming and paddleboarding.

I came to Cedar Grove Dental because I'd lost trust in two other dentists - and for good reason, they charged a lot for bad work. Dr Josh was able to demonstrate true professionalism and skill when he took photos and xrays of my teeth and showed me exactly what was going on with them, and what was needed. He then did the work and I could hear the pride in his own voice when he completed it. When he showed me the after photos/xrays, I could see how, indeed, he had done an excellent job. And good value for money as well because he charged less that the other bad dentists. I have now made Dr Josh my new dentist and I don't think I could ever trust another dentist again.

Today was my first appointment at Cedar Grove Dental for a preventative cleaning and so far, so good! All of the staff was friendly and kind. Both they hygienist and the dentist seemed interested in me as a person and in my dental health, making sure all of my preexisting issues were being treated to a level that I wanted. The office is very flexible and let's me schedule appointments for my husband as well. Additionally, I was able to text message the office rather than needing to call which is something I really appreciate.

Dr. Gaskill and the team at Cedar Grove Dental are awesome. I am very happy with the care I have received there. My husband and I both got our teeth whitened by Dr. Gaskill before our wedding and were so happy to have nice teeth for our photos. Dr. Gaskill has also done several fillings on my teeth and was always ensuring I was comfortable, explained everything he was doing, and made sure all of my questions were answered. The rest of the staff there are really friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to get there dental care with Dr. Gaskill.

Dr Gaskill and his staff gave excellent care! I highly recommend Cedar Grove Dental. I was traveling past that area and they were able to schedule me last minute. I don't usually like going to the dentist but my experience was Cedar Grove Dental went so smoothly.

Totally awesome office. Quick, clean, and professional. I've never felt so cared about or comfortable. From the doctor to the front office staff, they make sure to assist in any way. I have four kids and one is special needs. They were accommodating and considerate. The enthusiasm of their team made the difference. We appreciate their efforts!

Absolutely love the staff at Cedar Grove Dental, today my temporary crown came off. Let me tell you. Back molar = problem tooth This was temp crown #2 didn't have the nerve to call them last week when it cracked only 4 hours after Erin put it on. I was being super careful......then off it came. They were able to get me in and to my surprise my permanent crown was in. So now I have the Real crown in, no more breaking the fake one!! Don't think I have ever been so excited to be at the dentist! Thank you Cedar Grove Dental!

Dr Gaskill and all the hygienists are wonderful and friendly. I had an issue getting numb before a procedure and he worked so hard to keep me comfortable even when my body didn't want to cooperate. Everyone works hard to be gentle and professional.

Dr. Gaskill is so knowledgeable and kind. He's really conscientious of your comfort and explains everything very thoroughly. Well worth the drive from Bellingham! Update: Now I've completed Invisalign with Dr. Gaskill and I love the results!

I had a temporary crown put in today, all the work done by Dr Gaskill and his assistant. I've had many dental procedures done in the past from a previous dentist that retired from there. The numbing part was something I've always dreaded due to it being painful, and my gums feeling shredded afterward. With Dr Gaskill I barely felt a pinch when he injected the med, he made sure to use a numbing cream before the needle. Hands down the best dental procedure experience I've had. I would highly recommend him and his team, all professional and friendly.

I have lived in this area since 2015. I have 'interviewed' and scheduled with several dental offices in Skagit and Whatcom since moving here. Mostly, compassionate teamwork and quality of care has been mediocre to lacking. Until this week. From my first phone call, initial visit, exam, and painful surgical procedure, I have been impressed with Cedar Grove Dental. Dr. Joshua Gaskill and support staff have been wonderful to me and to each other. It is obvious to me that they have done some quality team building. I felt seen. At last. Professionalism meets human kindness and respect. In turn, I respect Dr. Gaskill's boundaries regarding pain management and his approach to patient care. I look forward to completing my long awaited dental transformation.

I've been been with this dental office since before it was Cedar Grove. The staff has always been amazing and Dr Josh is a kind and personable addition. I moved out of the county and still make the trek to see the Cedar Grove team!
