Dr. Amy Kiesselbach completed her undergraduate work at the University of Puget Sound. She went on to earn her dental degree at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, CA. Following her university education, Dr. Kiesselbach completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program in Miami, FL.
Dr. Kiesselbach is an active member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, the California Dental Society, the American Dental Society, the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS) and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA).
Dr. Amy Kiesselbach is skilled in general and restorative dentistry, just a few of which include advanced services such as implants & wisdom teeth extractions, I.V. sedation and single visit crowns. Dr. Kiesselbach is also fluent in Spanish. She offers dental services to the Latino community and is happy to speak either English or Spanish with her patients.
Dr. Amy grew up in Woodland, California. She played volleyball in high school and college, and when she attended The University of Puget Sound, she also developed her interest in rowing on the crew team. She has always loved being involved in sports and when she gets the chance, she likes to go mountain bike riding, hiking and cross-country skiing.
Venus is our dental hygienist. She graduated from Carrington College of California in 2012. She loves her chosen field and takes great pride in caring for her patients and teaching them the importance of great oral hygiene.
Alyssa is our dental assistant and she graduated from 49er Regional Occupational Program in 2013. She loves coming to work every day and interacting with our patients on a professional and personal level. She strives to give our patients the best experience possible while in our office.
It is our goal to keep your mouth healthy, your teeth fully functional, and your smile bright and we are proud of all the services we offer to do exactly that. At the same time, we want you to understand all that modern dentistry in general has to offer you. I have been seeing Dr. Amy for a couple of years now because I've had extensive work to be done. I am so excited that she has the latest technology and understands how to use it. I have always found her and all the staff to be very friendly and very knowledgeable. I strongly recommend Doctor Amy and her amazing staff! Connie T. I had an emergency situation and Dr. Amy saw me almost immediately. She and Raymond stayed extra and took care of me beautifully! I am pain-free and my teeth look beautiful! Thank you Dr. Amy and Raymond!

My first visit with Cedar Dental was great! The team was so welcoming and the dentist was super thorough and engaging. You can tell they put a lot of time, effort and thought into how they treat their patients. I even left with a welcome gift!!

Mostly good in past but last two visits terrible. Hygienist is too pushy. I actually walked out of my appointment while in chair because she wouldn't stop pushing me for things I didn't want or need. I told the office before this happened and did not write a review in hopes of change. Unfortunately they not only gave me the same hygienist but she continued with her pushy and awkward approach. Hopefully they didn't charge my insurance for my non cleaning. Anyway after many years my family and I will look for another place to go.
